Wonderful position of hotel! The views from our room were amazing . Lovely balcony . Excellent food in restaurant but limited choice. Nice pool . Room always cleaned promptly and well.

Restaurant menu did not change in the week we stayed. So that encouraged us to dine out more in Portovenere . There was limited space by the pool and the route to get to it was difficult. Some people criticise the difficulty getting into Portovenere but we enjoyed the walk or using the Girobus. Sometimes staff numbers were limited. On one rainy day they couldn't provide lunch for us and on our last morning when the lift was out of action they would not offer any help carrying our suitcases up two flights of stairs to reception. That is not good enough considering the price we paid for our stay.

We’ve had a free upgrade upon arrival, which was very pleasant. Room was nice, spacious, clean with a balcony and beautiful sea view. All hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. Great location. Allthough the mountain is steep and if you find it hard to use the stairs to go to the beach, you can always use transfer till Portovenere.

If you decide to use the restaurant be aware, that portions are quite small

A modern hotel with lots of glass, marble floors and aluminium. Located on a hill overlooking Portovenere and about 20 minutes walk from the port. There is also a circular bus every 15 minutes to the port from outside the hotel. the rooms are spacious and comfortable and we had a terrific sea view from our balcony. The restaurant is excellent with again marvellous sea views although it seems under used as many guests seem to eat in the port. There is plenty of free parking, which is at a premium in Portovenere.

The pool and pool area are quite small. The breakfast was mediocre and no where near as good as the evening food.

The hotel is very clean and artsy. Parking was in a beautiful spot. The surrounding area is spectacular! The room was very modern, with a good hot shower with fancy toiletries and soaps. The view from the balcony was beautiful, the only bad thing was that it was a divided balcony with another room and You could easily look into other people's faces while they sleep on the bed and they leave the curtains open for the view... 😅 Breakfast service was very good with various options, but the breakfast room was freezing. Although the attendant allowed us in the warm restaurant room, so the issue was fixed quite promptly.

The room and bathroom was a bit narrow, and the temperature in the room and other places in the hotel was a little low for comfort at the start of December.

We particularly liked the staff (very helpful and kind), the view (absolutely gorgeous), and the bed (perfect, and I am difficult when it comes to beds!). The room was immaculate. We could also recharge our electric car there.

The hotel provides brown bags for guests who leave before breakfast time. That's a lovely service. However, the quality of the food provided could perhaps be upped a little. We are in Italy, after all :)

Great views from an exceptionally modern and comfortable room. Its a shame there are no facilities for lunch/bar/drinks around the pool area, you really need to take the bus to the village/harbour area for lunch or take the 200 or so steps down but you really dont want to walk back up!

The staff at the reception and at dinner were outstanding They went out of their way to make us comfortable We are vegetarians and they tried to make something up for us. The staff at the reception was very considerate. We wanted to reduce our stay by a day and that they readily helped us to do and also refunded our money for the last night promptly

Everything except breakfast and very few hot items and limited Hot Veg choices....

The breakfast and the staff were excellent. The room and the property were very clean! Attention: a la carte restaurant can be very expensive, specially by wine card🍷 Thank you for the nice room Nr.4

The pool area has't any changing cabins / WC and it is really closely ( has not really enough place) Opening time: 09-21 (better would be 07-21)

The hotel was lovely and clean. The staff were very friendly. Great breakfast in the morning! Pool facilities were good too.

The location is good. However, the stairs may not be suitable for everyone as there are a lot. Bar should be open during the day. There is a booking system for the 6 Sun loungers at the poolside. We feel there could be more Sun loungers to allow guests to enjoy these facilities.
