The room and property were wonderful. It is located a bit outside of town center, but honestly that's what we liked about it. It was quiet, and the room was clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed and eqipment for coffee and cooking. There is an ATC bus stop right outside that takes you into La Spezia a few times a day. There is also a restaurant located right next to the property. Use the taxi service recommended by the hotel when needed. They also park outside the train station. We paid anywhere from 10-15€ to get to the property from the train station.

Limited on access to and from town center. We took taxi back each evening and to the train early morning.

The property was amazing!!! The view is so cute and on a good side of the hill that you get none of the noise from the big city! The pool was fun and the garden adorable. It’s far enough to walk down to town everyday but far enough that you get a peaceful morning. 😂 11/10 would recommend every time! It’s right next to a really good pizza restaurant open late; so you don’t even have to go too far for midnight munchies! The stay was amazing, the room so cute and the host very friendly! Will have to come back here!!!

We had an amazing stay at Miramare. The building is beautiful with high ceilings and cathedral windows that frame the view of the harbour. The apartment was well fitted out with everything we needed and also had lovely outdoor seating areas on the terrace. Spotlessly clean and the bed and bedding was super comfy. Chris, the on-site Manager went above and beyond for us and provided recommendations for restaurants and local specialty deli's in La Spezia. The location has a beautiful view and is located in a quiet area within a short drive to the train station to visit Cinque Terre. I highly recommend Miramare.

A tastefully and comfortably renovated Guesthouse with spacious fully equipped apartments that offered an amazing view of the harbour of La Spezia. We enjoyed the place so much that we preferred to prepare dinner and stay “home” rather than go to a restaurant most evenings. The infinity pool was refreshing and as clean as the rest of the property. We truly enjoyed our stay here.

The only thing we missed were some beach towels for the pool. Since there were 4 apartments next to each other the was naturally little privacy on the shared terrace but most people were very respectful and it did not matter too much.

The hotel is located in a traditional building on the hillside, minutes driving from the town centre, with an amazing sea view from the window, the facilities and furniture in the room are quite nice, there is a nice terrace outside the window, with a beautiful swimming pool, the parking spaces are sufficient and free.

We had a lovely room and the views are great. Terrific place if you just want to chill by the pool. It’s a big walk up a hill to get back from La Spetzia or the train station and the taxis are (as they are nearly everywhere in Italy) atrocious. Difficult to order and price varies so much. There is a bus service but it only runs twice a day and you need tickets beforehand or download the ap. Sightseeing gets all that more expensive when you have to pay between 30 and 50 euro a day just to go to and from the station. Not a lot of restaurants close by.

Difficult getting transport to get to the property

It is a nice apartment with a gorgeous view. It is comfortable and clean. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are big, so are the bathrooms. The city is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. The accomodation itself is great, the photos are exactly as shown in pictures and the facilities were on point. We didn't get to go to the pool, but it is worth it. Near is a restaurant where you can have breakfast and dinner or even a drink in the evening.

It's not a bad thing, but if you don't have a car is a little hard to get there. The bus that get you there (get you the closes, cause there are other buses that leave you at 20 mins away) is 3-4 times a day, so if you arrive at the train station between buses you will need to wait even for a few hours. I recommend getting a taxi or a car to there.

Christopher was super helpful and polite. The views were amazing and even though it rained, we still were able to enjoy the property with 4 different units and a large group in total. We had two people in our party who had a birthday and the property had a nice surprise for the birthday people upon arrival. Pizza next door at Al Settimo Cielo was amazing and people working there were very nice as well. Overall a great experience.

A beautiful apartment complex in the hills overlooking the bay of La Spezia. The apartment was well finished, spacious, large shared terrace though felt like our own, the pool is fantastic with its views and the gardens are relaxing. A very peaceful and relaxing stay and day dreamed over the view every night. Staff very friendly and excellent communication throughout our stay. Nice wee restaurant right beside and a authentic Italian social club which is handy for a wee tipple. Only 5 mins in taxi to main city centre.

When I read Booking.com reviews, they tend to be lacking because they are standalone and without context. We just finished a trip where we used Booking.com for six stays. We also had five direct bookings. Our Booking.com stays were in Italy (Milano, Genova, La Spezia), Croatia (Dubrovnik, Split) and Paris. Our selection criteria included location, apartment size (60 – 90 sqm), bed comfort, WIFI, washing machine, elevator, coffee maker, bathroom quality. Other nice to haves include toiletries, iron and board, 1st night coffee, breakfast included. All of the places were acceptable, but none checked all the boxes. La Spezia – The location above La Spezia provided great views of the La Spezia harbor and Ligurian Sea. If we did not have a car, access to La Spezia and Cinque Terra would not be convenient. The space was open airy and spacious. We did not need an elevator to access our space. The bedroom loft above the primary space is around 1.70 meters (5’ 8”) tall – a minor problem for a anyone taller. A good space that ranks tied for third out of six.
