At first, we were very surprised by the location. We had not read enough to know that the hotel was situated high above the town of Positano. We chose to walk down the path/stairs that led down to the road and into the town. It was a bit exhausting, but since we did it every day, we got better and better at going down and up again. The advantage of being above the town is that it is completely quiet and very romantic. For those who do not wish to walk, there is a bus that runs back and forth from the town to a stop 200 meters from the hotel. The breakfast was lovely and prepared every morning. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the communication via WhatsApp was quick and very helpful if we had questions about our stay. We recommend visiting the hotel.

Fantastic breakfast, location and one of the best views we have ever seen in our lives. A truly magical place away from the crowds and often overwhelming experience of Positano below, especially in the height of summer. Instead of battling for tables, and viewpoints in Positano, the village of Nocelle is, in my opinion, 10 times better, depending on what it is you want from your trip. The views you get are out of this world, right down the coast to Capri, as well as the beautiful town of Positano below. There are two amazing restaurants in the village you don't need to battle others or book in advance to get a table with a view, a little shop and also a cute, authentic cafe right on the cliff for lunches of Bruschetta and salad. You do need to get a bus up and down and deal with some steps, but this bit of extra effort is what keeps this place special and free from crowds. I can't wait to come back to this little slice of paradise!

We came back for the view and it didn’t disappoint. We first visited Nocelle for our honeymoon in 2022, and the beauty of this place, especially looking at Positano from a peaceful distance, left such an impression on us. While we love Positano, we prefer not being in the middle of the hustle and bustle, which is why Nocelle is our perfect spot. This time, we noticed there was a different staff team. While they were lovely and accommodating, we missed the personal touch we experienced during our first visit, which had contributed to us coming back. It’s not that the new staff were bad at all - just that the experience wasn’t quite as personal as we remembered.

This is honestly the most beautiful view I have ever seen in anywhere I’ve ever stayed, it almost didn’t seem real! The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need. The staff were so lovely and even left a complimentary bottle of Prosecco for us.

You can hear everything in the other rooms so I felt I had to whisper a lot.

I loved the quiet solitude of the property, as well as how clean and well-taken care of the room and area was. The private patios are awesome and so is the upstairs terrace!

It is quite far from the town of Positano, however this was advertised as such from the beginning. It’s so nice if you’re looking to be away from the hustle and bustle. It may be nice if the gate to the property had a code instead of a key, so if you’re checking out early you don’t have to worry about accidentally locking yourself inside the property.

Very friendly and professional at what they do. They took our lugagges on our check in date and check out. Very hard working people. La signora Angela was very welcoming..she even helped with my bag along with the gentleman that brought our lugagges up at the room over his shoulders. How amazing was that!

The room was very clean, spacious. The breakfast in the morning was freshly made and it was a good start for a very hot start in morning.. Ill give it a 10. There was nothing I didn't like. I loved it all. There was nothing I didn't like and one day I will return.

The property had beautiful views overlooking the sea and Positano. The room was very spacious and even had its own kitchen facilities and garden terrace which was lovely to watch the sunset.

The property is quite a trek from Positano town (which is correctly advertised when we booked it originally). A bus service is provided from Nocelle to Positano but it only runs once every hour and this route is often very popular among tourists so it can be very busy. To walk to Positano it is 2000 steps so can be quite the trek.

This property located near the Path of the Gods had spectacular views of the Amalfi coastline! The sunsets were incredible! The staff was very friendly and the breakfast, including the cappuccino, was delightful! This beautiful slice of paradise was a welcome retreat from the bustling crowds of Positano below!

The staff was very helping, polite and nice. Property and its facilities are far better than many 4 star hotels.

If you are able to hike then it is not at problem to get to the property. 3- 4 minutes of stairs walk to get to the property that could not be avoided.
