The beautiful property was tucked away from the main area from Positano. To get to Positano you can either catch the local bus (preferred) which takes about 15-20 minutes, walk (takes 30 minutes) or catch a Taxi. Note the Taxi charges a very high amount (at least 50 euro) so I would not recommend. The great thing about this place was how beautiful, quiet and peaceful the accomodation and local town was. Staying here and being at Montepertuso was THE highlight of our trip. The host of the B&B (Salvatore), his family and staff were amazing and such kind, honest and wonderful people. Highly recommend this place to stay as the main area of Positano can be very busy and overcrowded! The best restaurants and cooking class are in this area as well plus the local deli is only a 5 minute walk. Highly Recommend!

The property and the hosts were amazing however, somethings to consider is that there are over 100 steps to get to the property. You get use to walking because all over Positano there are steps so it was not a problem for us. Please note that there is an escalator for your luggage so you don’t have to carry them all the way which is great. Other than the above, it is great.

The most amazing view!!!! The room was super cute and clean (they gave us free sparkling water when we arrived from the minibar). The staff were absolutely wonderful. Breakfast every morning was delicious and they made us tea and coffee. The bed was comfy and they had extra doonas and pillows. This was my favourite part of my trip.

The only downside is getting to the property (which other reviews touched on). There are a lot of stairs and you have to catch a tiny bus to the top of the hill. It was not as bad as we were expecting and is definitely worth it for the view.

Our stay at Le Ghiande was absolutely spectacular, the view from the room was simply breathtaking. Considering how expensive Positano can be, this place was a great choice, just a 15-minute ride from the town center. The photos online don’t do justice to how beautiful the property actually is. There’s a lovely lemon garden, and the hosts were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The room was well-equipped, with a small kitchen and a spacious balcony overlooking both the sea and the mountains. Breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade cakes and pastries. Overall, it’s a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of Positano town. I will definitely staying here during my next trip. highly recommended!

If you’re taking the bus, note that there’s only one every hour from the city center, and it can sometimes be crowded or delayed. We rented a scooter, so it wasn’t an issue for us. To reach the property, you’ll need to climb about 60–70 steps from the road, but there’s a convenient luggage lift for the property, also the host kindly helped us with our bags. so it turned out to be perfectly manageable.

The location could not be better! Sitting in Montepertuso just above Positano afforded stunning views! It was a short walk down into Montepertuso, where we enjoyed dinners at the local restaurants. There’s also a great deli./store where we are able to buy fresh food, such as locally growing tomatoes, which were as fresh as picking them out out of the garden! The bus ride to Positano was a real Italia experience! But the location of Le Ghiande is perfect as you are away from the crowds of Positano yet close enough to jump on the ferries down below! our hosts, Regina and Salvatore could not have been more helpful and kind. I would definitely stay there again and we’ll tell my family and friends about this wonderful property!

Everything was absolutely amazing - from the moment we arrived, until the day we left. We had a very spacious room with excellent view of the sea. The room was spotlessly clean, there was a small fridge, an A/C in great condition. The towels got replaced and the room got cleaned every day. The owners are just wonderful: very friendly, responsive, helpful and with stunning English. We loved our short stay and can just recommend it to anyone! Thank you for a great time and such an awesome experience!

Incredible views and a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of central Positano. The hosts were very kind, honest and willing to help with any question we had. The breakfast was generous and delicious with a wide range of items on offer. We appreciated the beautiful restaurants nearby the property for dinner.

Sound travels very easily through the walls and you can hear everything in neighbouring rooms. This would be less of a problem if guests in neighbouring rooms were self-aware and considerate.

Unbelievably beautiful place. Such a lovely family that runs it who will do everything they can to make sure your stay is perfect. Everything was perfect. Book it. I will say that if you have mobility issues this is not the place for you as there are a lot of stairs. Although if you have mobility issues the entire Amalfi coast might be tough for you as there is really no way to get around without walking a lot and climbing a lot of stairs

We had a fantastic time at Le Ghiande. The view from our private terrace was breathtaking, and our room was lovely, extremely comfortable, and very clean. The small kitchenette attached to our room was great for fixing casual dinners, which we enjoyed on our terrace overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. There was also a variety of good restaurants close by. The breakfasts that Salvatore thoughtfully prepared were bountiful and delicious, and we delighted in the variety of wonderful food and the abundance of fresh, sun ripened fruit. The cappuccinos and Americanos were fantastic! The structure of Le Ghiande is beautiful in itself with its lovely gardens and terraces--all with glorious views. The quiet and private location is great--away from the bustle of Positano and yet close enough for easy access to its charms. We did a lot of hiking while we were there and access to trails was very convenient from Le Ghiande. Hiking the Path of the Gods was glorious! Our time at Le Ghiande in beautiful Montepertuso could not have been better, and Salvatore and Regina were the kindest and most thoughtful of hosts! They went out of their way to make our stay delightful. We cannot wait to return to this magical place.

The room was incredibly comfortable, spacious, and had a wonderful view (and was cleaned daily)! We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast every morning of our stay — especially the espresso and view of Positano. We also appreciated that Le Ghiande is located higher up and fairly far from the center of town since it was much quieter.

We fully expected the 100 stairs so it was no issue for us, but could see it being limiting for some. Also, be aware that there is very limited parking — we were lucky to find street parking but we visited during the shoulder season.

Our stay was wonderful and relaxing away from the hustle and bustle, the staff were all so super friendly, the view is incredible, bed comfy, very clean could not fault anything if you want to stay just out of town.

The stairs with all our luggage our calves are killing! There are so many. Great spot to chill if you don’t want to go down to positano as the bus is very crowded and takes so long, the taxi very expensive.
