Thank you so much for a lovely stay. The owner, Michele, was so lovely and sweet. The breakfast he made for us was amazing! The omelette is probably one of the best I've tasted. The location/view was lovely, calm, and quiet. The bathroom is just outside the room, however big, and has what you need. There is a cute restaurant nearby with amazing views (better than some at the bottom of Positano). We had dinner there, which was perfect. The food was lovely and not pricey. Reserve as they do get very busy. There is also a supermarket close by for essentials. The local bus takes 22 minutes to take you to the main stop in Positano. You can buy tickets on the bus for €1.80 one way.

The WiFi wasn't the greatest. Very slow in certain parts of the room. The restaurant down the road had faster WiFi if you're ever in need. The bus is often crowded, and if standing, make sure you hold on!

The room was very spacious with an amazing view and cute terrace overlooking the water as shown in the images. The owner was very friendly and woke up early to make us a delicious breakfast with fresh croissants, eggs, fruit, and more before our early travel.

Make sure you look into the Mobility Amalfi Coast shuttle schedule to get around Positano if you are staying up here. We walked 50 minutes uphill to get here the first time, but after arrival the host told us about the Mobility AC shuttle and everything was much easier!

Our host, Michele, was amazing and super helpful. He made an incredible, and delicious breakfast both days of our stay - eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee and a variety of pastries. The B&B is located in a small village just above Positano, a 20 minute bus ride. There are excellent restaurants just a 5 minute walk away. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a large balcony overlooking the water and town below.

We were very happy with everything to do with the B&B. The bus ride down into Positano can be very crowded so you need to make sure to have a strong hold on something if you're standing.

Our stay in Positano was truly unforgettable! The terrace offered breathtaking, postcard-worthy views, and the accommodation was both cozy and exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast served in the morning was not only delicious but also lovingly prepared with great attention to detail. What made the experience even more extraordinary was the host’s warm hospitality and genuine kindness, which made us feel right at home. Every aspect of our stay came together seamlessly, creating cherished memories that we will always treasure. If I have the chance to visit Positano again, I wouldn’t hesitate to return. Really lovely people with a place that has amazing views. Very clean and comfortable to stay in. The breakfast was generous and delicious! Great place for if you want to stay out of the busy Positano and in a friendly town with great hiking links. There is a bus from the plaza in Positano (just behind the church) that will take you up and it leaves every hour. You can purchase tickets on the bus for €1.80 plus extra for luggage. Highly recommend this place to stay if you are keen to visit Positano and Amalfi coast.

Our stay at Casa Maria Grazia in Montepertuso, a hilltop getaway in Positano, Italy was an experience of a lifetime. One can easily walk to The II Ritrovo, a five-star restaurant with terrace views of the amazing Amalfi coastline, specializing in authentic family recipes like grilled octopus. Also close is “The Path of God” an ancient path that connects the little towns along the rugged hillside offering breathtaking views besides homes with beautiful gardens dotted along the way. The bus stop was close for transportation to and from the town of Positano. Our host Michael provided delightful abundant breakfasts that included fresh squeezed orange juice from his garden, custom made just for you! Also included were delicious fresh croissants and cappuccinos. The room includes a large comfortable king bed, closet and drawer space and a bathroom with shower off the deck with a captivating view a quiet and peaceful location. We were so grateful for Paisia who helped us feel very welcome and so kindly assisted us with answering our questions and helping us with our lovely visit to the Amalfi Coast. Also, Michael, so wonderfully, came to our rescue driving us to Sorrento to catch a train to Naples as it turned out the ferries were not running on our departure day. Nothing like having ‘arch angel Michael’ in your ‘back pocket’ to rescue the ‘maidens in distress’.

We wish we had more time to stay.

The location had a superb view and was away from the busy area was very relaxing as long as you don’t mind the 20 minute bus ride to town. Breakfast was fabulous with fresh fruit, eggs and pastries. The host was very helpful and attentive to our requests and r even drove us to the ferry for our early departure.

The bathroom which was located just outside of our bedroom was a surprise but not too bad. The lack of privacy on the balcony.

A really beautiful, private place with the most amazing view of the beaches and the mountains. The room was comfortable and the host is a very wonderful person who was extremely helpful throughout. Provided a welcome platter of fruit and champagne for when we first got there. Just a great experience overall!

The parking at this location is really hard to get into so the smaller your car the better. It is very secure though so no safety concerns. The shower does also leak out some water into the bathroom but a towel down will solve that problem easily.

Great location perfect for visiting positano if you want to be away from the manic hussle and bussle but close enough to visit ( a 20 min bus ride) Close to a great restaurant la traviata the room was spacious and comfortable and lovely views from the terrace. The breakfast was first class, croissants, fresh fruit and courgette omelette. The host was very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend

Loved it all

The apartment is set in Montepertuso which is above Positano. You can reach it by bus that goes to Nocelle and will take you about 20-40 minutes, depending on the traffic. If the buses are full (which they can be during high season) you can always take the stairs which are a nice scenic route, and the walk is 40-60 minutes. When we arrived with suitcases we took a taxi which was 40€ but I would recommended it since the busses are small. The apartment has a big bed and a big terrace which is shaded for most of the day. You will communicate with Paisia, and she responds rapidly and is there to help you with anything you need. She arranged a taxi for us when we were leaving, and answered all of our questions. Our host was Michele who waited for us and was the one that was making breakfast every day. I forgot to ask him where he gets his tomatoes from but they were possibly the best tomatoes I ever had. Every morning he would make a Caprese salad for us which was much better than the one we had on Capri. He also made us fresh coffee, brought fruit, pastry which he would fill with chocolate spread or jam, depending on your choice, fruit yogurt, orange juice, etc. He can also make other things and you can arrange it with him. He also understands and talks English pretty well so there were no problems there as well. He was a gracious host and made us feel welcome.

Montepertuso is a small village so there isn't much to do there, so if you want to take it easy go for the day, take a short walk, sight see and grab a coffee on the road, this isn't a place for you and you better stay in Nocelle or Praiano. However, if you want a quiet place away for the crowds of Positano, it's perfect for that.
