I would highly recommend Villa Mary - it is exactly what you would hope for when staying in Positano (it’s an authentic Italian villa). The rooms/villa are beautifully decorated and very clean. The view from the terrace is stunning. My favourite part of our stay was having breakfast on the terrace every morning and looking at the view (not a bad way to start your day!). The shops, beach and restaurants are only a few minutes walk from the villa. All of the staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. I did a girls trip with my sister-in-law and we loved it so much we might have to make it a yearly tradition (if our bank accounts allow it).

It it a beautiful property with cinematic views at a great location, had a pool that was very enjoyable and relaxing, a delicious breakfast that is provided daily, and the family/owner of the suites were kind, had great communication, and were very helpful in setting up restaurant reservations as well as providing recommendations in town. We would definitely stay here again when the time comes for another trip to Positano!

I truly can’t think of anything I didn’t like. The only reminder I would give ( and this goes for the majority of the hotels/villas in Positano because it is a cliff town) is that you will inevitably be climbing stairs. If you are physically fit, this is no problem for you. In fact, we considered it a great workout going up the stairs with our luggage. However, it also wouldn’t hurt requesting a porter to take up the luggage ( especially large luggage) or getting a taxi to drive up to the villa.

The staff were wonderful - Tiziana helped us plan transportation in advance of our trip which was professional and pleasant. Anything we needed was provided when asked. The breakfasts on the terrace were amazing and the room was comfortable and the beds were the most comfortable we had on our trip to 4 cities. This b&b felt very intimate and private. The views were unmatched but that comes with stairs (which we expected). We also took a dip in the pool and it was wonderful. I only wish we had had more days to spend time on site and even partake in the cooking class! Next time!

I couldn't have been more pleased with our stay at Villa Mary Suites. The room was absolutely gorgeous. The colors and design were very appealing. The size of the room was perfect and the tub was an extra surprise, that I had forgotten about. The location couldn't have been any better. I felt like we were in the heart of Positano. And the breakfast was beyond our expectations. I knew it came with breakfast but I wasn't expecting it to be made to order. You could order your eggs how you like them and they were cooked to perfection. Then they brought out fresh pastries, fresh cut fruit, whatever coffee option you chose and all the fixings. And then the staff...wow! Talk about customer service. The owner was a true gem and so helpful. She arranged a vespa rental for us and a driver to get us to the airport. She even told us that we always have a home at Villa Mary Suites and I thought that was very touching.

All the stairs. LOL But that is Positano for you. :) Everything was great. The only thing I can think of is the beautifully designed bathroom had no shelf or anywhere for your toiletries to go in the shower. You had to set them on the floor. But that is so minor. I would definitely stay here again.

The property was very cute, clean, had a pool, with lounge, chairs, beach towels. The staff was extremely helpful in every way no matter what you needed. They were there expecting nothing in return. On our arrival day we felt that they were happy to have us there and as our day progressed, they became family. I got lost and the manager of the hotel came and found me and brought me back to the hotel expecting nothing in return. While it was a little off the beaten track and there was some walking required to get down to the beach area, the hotel itself was clean and organized. Modern and the air conditioning was amazing. Every morning got an amazing breakfast with a smile from the staff when they delivered it to our patio with a lot of options provided at no additional cost.

There was nothing bad about it. The view was amazing but the stairs and getting to the hotel required patience, and effort.

Villa Mary was exceptional. The location, views from the property, and amenities were all fantastic, but what really made this place special was the owners, Tiziana, Antonio and their family. Always quick to respond and arrange activities for us, they went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. Their personal investment in the happiness of their guests was something we will always remember about Villa Mary. Also of note was the spectacular setting of the outdoor terrance and pool, from where you have first-rate views of Positano and the sea, and the delicious made-to-order breakfasts by Fabiana. Everything was just perfect.

The hospitality! This hotel is simply dreamy. From the moment we arrived we were advised what to do with our luggage and how to get to the Villa. This is a family owned business and the entire staff is AMAZING! Let me tell you, you want to stay here for more than just a couple nights. Minimum 3 nights so you can enjoy at least one day at the Villa. You can spend the afternoon at the pool with amazing views, order lunch, or get a massage. They also offer dinner and cooking classes! It is a lot of stairs, but please consider this is Positano and everywhere you go, you have to walk and climb stairs! We were prepared and we are still in pretty good shape. However, if you can’t do stairs, you can get a taxi or the bus.

Everything was perfection!

The best place during our coastline trip. Booking pics even don`t show all the beauty of this place. We had a room with pool view and it was wide and we had a feeling that whole big terrace with pool is ours, although there was also a private spot next to our room. The terrace is an oase on the hill with a spectacular view, nice swimming pool , sunbeds and blooming trees. It was perfect as in day, as in late evening. I would say this stay is more enjoyable than a 5 ***** hotel. After our walk to the place swimming pool is excately what you need, and we got also juice and fruits. They have so many picture-perfect spots, table with lemon trees, all the blooming trees etc.

Our stay at Villa Mary in the Deluxe Room was incredible! By far the cleanest accommodations I have ever experienced, A+ for housekeeping. The property is beautiful with fantastic views from every angle including the room balcony which was the best way to wake up and fall asleep. Every detail is meticulously thought of as the room has every item you could need for your stay (i.e. amazing toiletries, iron, great blow dryer). Tizianna, her family, and the entire staff are the most hospitable group who clearly take so much pride in what they do based on the service provided. They always greeted us with smiles and went above & beyond to ensure we always had what we needed. They were super responsive before arrival and during our stay. Tizianna made dinner reservations and transportations a breeze for us. They are also very flexible which is so appreciated when traveling. Lastly, the food was so delicious everyday.

Loved this place! The view was something straight out of a magazine. The room was also very clean and well decorated to add to the experience. Every morning our breakfast was served on our little balcony and it was delicious. If I could give Villa Mary 100 stars I would!! Tiziana was also extremely accommodating, answered all of our questions and helped us with anything we needed. The pool was really nice as well. Plenty of chairs and came with a gorgeous view. We loved it here and would definitely like to come back one day. Not too far from the marina area either.
