The most comfortable bed in our whole trip! Definitely not luxury but comfortable & clean. Really good value for the area. There was a small convenience store with coffee, few snacks & beers at the property. It was a little bit further away from the centre of town, but really easy to navigate. There is a bus stop directly out the front of the B&B with a bus every 30mins (takes approx 5-10min to main part of Positano) Otherwise the walk was surprisingly easy. The way down is about 15mins/back up is closer to 20-30mins as there are quite a few stairs so tackle that one if you’re on the fitter side 😂

Not super close to any restaurants so a lazy night in wasn’t really an option unless you know how to navigate the pizza delivery websites

The place was amazing with a spectacular view over the main market square contrasted with the beautiful mountain side and small water fall it was a wonderful experience with amazing staff as well. Would definitely recommend to others.

The only thing to really keep in mind is that it is a B&B by the definition whilst the room is small for what you get you can tell the staff and owners really care about what they are doing. Only other issue was all the walking we had to do to get around but that's more positano than this B&B's issue. But they even kept that in mind and gave us a small information sheet about the local area that was really thoughtful

There is so much to like about this property - it feels a bit of a hidden gem. You’re out the way of the hustle and bustle, but it is so easy to get into town with steps nearby or the bus stop right outside. Fabulous views from our room with the balcony, and you can hear the waterfall nearby each day. Perfect bar area for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening tipple with beautiful views too and great selection at the bar. There isn’t a lift (only a luggage lift) but the steps are fine - you’re in Positano so these will feel easy in comparison! Overall great staff, wonderful location and hotel. Absolutely would recommend.

Nothing - we loved it all!

A great place for the money in Positano with gorgeous views. The staff were very friendly and the area where you have breakfast had beautiful views too. It’s a hike into Positano so could be hard for some however there is a bus stop right out front the door which was perfect. There is also a little cafe above the property so you can have apertivo on the balcony overlooking the views of Positano.

We stayed in room 6 and the balcony door was extremely hard to open, we had to use all our strength to get it open. The shower glass door was also hard to open, apart from that everything was great

The view really sold this place, it’s set back a little bit from the coast but in the morning the sun shines directly onto the balcony and you get sea, mountains, Trees and the tiered buildings of positano. The room itself was a good size and had a very comfy bed. It was one of the more reasonably priced accommodations as well, most were several times the price! I’m glad this gave me the opportunity to experience positano in the morning.

It is a little walk out from the main centre of Positano, but given the view you have i didn’t mind this too much. I think there’s a small bus that runs too if needed for those not good with steps

Great Value and Nice Accommodations! You will not find a more affordable hotel in Positano! It's much cheaper than other accommodations in the area. There are many stairs here and no elevator so make sure that this works for you (especially carrying luggage up and down many flights). The room was very nice and beds were comfortable and felt more luxurious than expected! Bathrooms were very clean and fresh feeling. Great AC/heater in the room. We also had a lovely sitting patio with a view of Positano! The staff was friendly and helpful, providing us with maps! There's also a little shop directly above the hotel where you can purchase coffee, snacks, etc. for your stay which we loved The only thing is that it's about a 15-20 min walk into town and you'll have to walk directly on the road (Positano lacks sidewalks). The roads feel a bit trecherous so if that scares you, you might want to stay in town to not deal with walking on the roads and sharp turns.

Il Canneto is further up than the other hotels, but the price absolutely makes it worth it. There is a bus stop right outside, otherwise it's approx 15 minutes down into the town centre and maybe 20-25 back up (lots of stairs). The staff were a delight and incredibly helpful, we had lots of questions each day and they helped us understand transport and logistics. Our room had the most amazing view and we spent most afternoons on our balcony. I would absolutely recommend others to stay at Il Canneto.

The Hotel is very clean with very helpful staff. The room was specious with a good bathroom. The breakfast was good. Check in and checkout great. The host arranged a shuttle for u to Rome which was much appreciated. We stayed in May 2024 The balcony was a welcome addition.

There is a 20 minute walk down to the beach but buses that run frequently and a bus stop right outside the Hotel, so not a big problem at all.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. It was nice having a mini-fridge in the room. It was also nice having a balcony off of the room to sit and read or relax. I did take advantage of purchasing drinks from the bar located upstairs. This was easier than carrying them back from town. It was convenient having a bus stop directly across the street for our trip back to Sorento to catch a train.

After cleaning the room the slider would be left open. Lots of bugs in Positano so we would have preferred the slider stay closed.

Defintely recommend staying at this property, the location is very good with incredible view there is a bus station it was easy to get there, the staff are so kind and helpful they contact with us all the way to make sure we go the right way they gave us a map and explain to us about everything, there is a bar us stairs with a very good and kind old man we drink there coffe everyday.

The wifi in the room was weak
