Our three-day stay at San Pietro Positano was truly unforgettable — an absolute dream from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, every detail was flawlessly taken care of, and the entire experience exceeded all expectations. The highlight of our stay was, without doubt, the dreamy proposal — made possible by the incredible team who helped bring it all to life. Planning began months in advance, and from the very beginning, Massimo was simply outstanding. He played a vital role throughout the entire process, meticulously coordinating every aspect with care, precision, and genuine warmth. Massimo went above and beyond at every stage. His attention to detail, calm professionalism, and heartfelt support made all the difference. On the day itself, he was right there to ensure everything ran smoothly — the timing, the setting, the atmosphere — all absolutely perfect thanks to his dedication. The rest of the team were equally impressive: warm, attentive, and always one step ahead. The property itself is breathtaking, with spectacular views and elegant touches throughout, but what truly sets San Pietro apart is the exceptional people who make it so special. This hotel exceeds expectations. From the kind and informative staff to the phenomenal food and gorgeous views you cannot go wrong by booking this hotel. The actual hotel is gorgeous, the views spectacular. I was worried because I knew the hotel isn’t in Positano center, but ended up being a blessing. They will drive you to the center, the ride takes 3 minutes, when you call to have them pick you up they arrive in 5 minutes or less and the best part is you get away from the crowds of the main town to an oasis on the cliffs of the Amalfi coast. Couldn’t recommend more, felt lucky to have had the opportunity to stay here!!

it's been more than a wonderful stay. after hundred curves on the road, when we reached the property, our tiredness had gone in the wind. Chilling out at the balcony near the sunset time was superb. big green olives (super delicious) were served along with the welcome drink... with the comfortable live music. that was very bellisimo welcoming moment. we love loads of things there... we love the location with very convenient boat shuttle and car shuttle to the town. we love fitness both indoor and outdoor under the lemon trees... with the bicycle facing the ocean cliff... it is very beautiful sunlight around 4-5PM too. we love concierge suggesting delicioso ristorante and menus. we love staff welcoming and helping everything we need. we love the breakfast full of variety of menus and ingredients, we had wonderful 4 BF meals. we love wine tasting with sommelier who also has knowledge of olive oil tasting too. we love the rabbit menu at the hotel restaurant too... that was beyond expectation. it is huge too for 2 ppl. we love saying our room number.... 8 and 1/2 we felt very special every single time we say it. couldn't explain more.... there are many detailed moments that captured our memories... until we meet again. Small boutique hotel with only 57 bedrooms/suites. All of the food at breakfast, in the terrace restaurant, sushi truck and Michelin starred restaurant are absolutely delicious. The pool terrace is perfect for a swim and relaxing after sightseeing, as is the private beach club area. The hotel hosts complimentary cocktail making, cooking classes, boat trips and morning pilate sessions. Didn’t stay long enough to enjoy the tennis courts and spa! The staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble.

Our room was beautifully appointed, featuring an incredibly comfortable bed, breathtaking views from our balcony, and exquisite finishes throughout. It exceeded our expectations in every way. Breakfast at Il San Pietro was a dream. The buffet offered an impressive selection of fresh, high-quality options, with something for every taste. From pastries and fruit to local delicacies, everything was beautifully presented and delicious. We especially loved the personalised touch – anything we requested, from perfectly poached eggs to delicate crepes and excellent espressos, was made on the spot. It was the ideal way to start each day, with fresh, varied options and stunning views to match. A standout highlight of our stay was the complimentary boat ride to Amalfi, where we enjoyed a picturesque swim in crystal-clear waters. The hotel’s amenities are equally outstanding, from the scenic outdoor gym and tennis court with a view to the exclusive beach club nestled against the cliffs – each detail truly exceptional. Every aspect of our experience at Il San Pietro was curated to perfection, seamlessly blending luxury with genuine hospitality. From the world-class service to the awe-inspiring setting, this was, without a doubt, the best hotel experience of our lives. We left feeling rejuvenated, pampered, and already planning our return. Honestly, this is the kind of hotel that makes it hard to even want to explore anything outside of it. Il San Pietro is a true gem, and we can’t recommend it highly enough.

The team at the San Pietro was wonderful. Giuliano, the maitre d', was a delight and made us feel special at every meal. The GM Andrea helped ensure that we explored all the hotel had to offer. I can't begin to express how delicious our meals at Zass were. Definitely try the tasting menu.

I can't think of anything that could have been better. The traffic on the Amalfi Coast is notoriously difficult. Don't rent a car. Hire drivers as necessary and use boats for excursions.

If you're looking for a truly luxury stay on the Amalfi Coast, this is the place. Everything about it was done with attention to the comfort of guests, and we felt really and truly pampered. It isn't cheap, but it is worth it if you're looking for something really special.

We thought we would miss being in the center of the village, as this resort is quite a ways out of town. But with the free shuttle and other modes of transport, we found that the resort was a perfect respite after a busy day. We might have preferred a bit more options for meals, but it worked out well for our short stay.

Excellent service, well designed suite, stunning views!!! They also went out of the way to help us with our departure on their boat service to Positano! The grounds and gardens are spectacular!! You will not be disappointed. Grazie!

The cliff side pool location has limited afternoon sun, but the beach area has full sun if you enjoy swimming in the Mediterranean.

The minute you enter the fabulous terrace you become one with nature. The sights, smells and care of the staff make you feel your Italian reverie on a whole new level. Far from the hustle and bustle of the town you have nothing but tranquilly and relaxation.

Absolutely NOTHING I would not change one thing. Best hotel I have EVER stayed in with command for service, fine dining at Zass and the tranquility of the grounds is perfection.

The weather, totally out of your control we understand that. Also, we would have like music in the lobby/bar area in the evening. The musicians stopped playing at 8:00 and that was dissappointing.
