Wow! What an exceptional hotel, staffed by some of the most friendly, professional, polite and accommodating staff you could wish for. Nothing was too much trouble. My Wife and I stayed for a long weekend to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary and my Wife's Birthday, and we were completely enraptured by the charm of the hotel and the warmth of the welcome from the wonderful staff. From our initial greeting we were made to feel valued and very welcome. The hotel is truly an amazing building with so much character and in a wonderful location just a short walk above the town square of Ravello. The room we stayed in - The Contessa - was beautiful. A huge bathroom with separate shower and spa / jacuzzi bath and 'his and hers' sinks. The suite has a separate seating area, dressing room and a very comfortable bed. The jewel was the double doors that open up onto a garden terrace with incredible views over Marmorata and Minori. Each room on the garden terrace level had its own private seating area and across the well manicured lawn was another dining terrace. On the day of our anniversary, we were able to have a private champagne breakfast, complete with rose petals adorning the table and single red roses for each of us - making it a truly memorable start to our special day. The incredible staff were extremely accommodating in allowing us to carry out our own personal photo shoot to capture new memories of this wonderful weekend. The breakfast served each day was exceptional and certainly set you up for a day of exploring the beautiful town of Ravello. If you are looking for a romantic location or even a place where you can reset and put life into perspective - this is the perfect location.

There was nothing that wasn't liked. One small improvement could be the inclusion of tea and coffee making facilities in the room to accompany the mini-bar.

The sea view of the restaurant is amazing. The staff was very proffesional and welcoming.

Everything - this is the most beautiful place in the world. The building is absolutely spectacular, the room was so lovely and the garden is beyond peaceful. The service is impeccable and the staff are very kind. As if that weren’t enough, the restaurant is absolutely outstanding. While it may be under a new name now, the beauty and perfection of Hotel Palumbo still remains here.

Nothing - no complaints.

The food and service were great at the hotel. The afternoon eating area under the outdoor terrace and the dining room where breakfast and dinner were served both offered breathtaking views. The hotel is very chill and relaxing and the hotel staff were truly exceptional, among the best that I have experienced in my travels. I tore up me knee several days prior to the trip and experienced swelling. The hotel staff promptly and repeatedly brought ice to the room multiple times a day. Far above my expectations for service!

We had a veal entree one evening that was not up to the high standards of all our other the meals. Other than that everything else during our three night stay was wonderful!

The beautiful surroundings and incredible location were perfect for a short stay. The staff in reception were so helpful and friendly and gave very good recommendations! The restaurant is a hidden gem, the food was superb and the view is as good as any! It was very intimate on the balcony, I’m surprised it’s not as well advertised/marketed as it’s very special! Our room was great with a huge bathroom and comfortable bed.

If there was a small pool it would be even better but couldn’t fault otherwise!

Every meal I ate at Palazzo confalone was the finest quality I've experienced in my life. The beauty of the hotel is arresting. It also smells really good there. The service was exceptional! The staff at Palazzo confalone are so caring and attentive-they thought of everything. It was the luxury of a beautiful property with the familial comfort of staying with friends. The room was sparkling clean, they work very hard to maintain the highest standards. The bed was comfortable and I'll look forward to my return. Simply the best hotel ever

The facilities were beautiful. The views outstanding. What really made Palazzo Confalone remarkable was the staff. From the very moment you exit the taxi they make you feel special. A very special thank you to the dining staff, Franco, Bartolo and the girl with the wonderful smile, Enza.

Friendly and attentive staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The room was spacious and lovely and the bathtub excellent. The room had an excellent view, as did the dining room/terrace. The food was of exceptional quality.

It was amazing. Although the rough part was our room we were at the bottom level with a beautiful view of the gardens, unfortunately our room was very musky and smelled. And we could not be moved as hotel was booked. So it was rough.. on trying to sleep.. otherwise lovely palazzo, great staff and beautifully appointed and decorated. The resturant was very good and the view spectacular ..

The breakfast was amazing. A La carte on the terrace. Great omelettes, proper coffee and freshly squeezed juice. The food in the evening was exceptional and great value for money. Amazing location for the views.

I hadn’t realised how difficult it is to get to and from Ravello. There had been a bad accident on the road which meant the road was closed to buses. The buses needed to do a big 1 hour detour. Taxis expensive. None of this is the fault of the hotel though.
