Hotel Rufolo has an amazing location in the heart of Ravello - the renovations means the bathrooms are very high quality and modern. The rooms are small but well appointed and comfortable. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful - my husband and I were very pleased with our week at the hotel overall!

The only negatives are that the size of the rooms - it's not cheap but rooms are small ( I think you pay for location)and they are not sound proofed at all to people in hallway... people talking in the hallways or walking past your room sound like they are in your room!

Breakfast was a delicous buffet with fresh pastry, eggs, meats, cheese and fruit. The location was perfect with a lovely view that overlooked the coast. The staff was superb. Our stay was wonderful.

The view from our room of the gardens of the Villa Rufulo and the coast was beautiful! The room was spacious, as was the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast included eggs and meats, cheeses, pastries, cereal and fruit. The location was close to the main square, shopping and restaurants.

Everything was delightful!

I thought I’d be disappointed bc we choose a room with no Ocean view and no balcony. But we ended up with our own garden over looking a spectacular view of the ocean. The room was clean and the front desk was very knowledgeable and was able to help us navigate taxis and transportation in general. The hotel is very close to the square of the town and was at the bottom of a hill leading to Villa Cimbrone. so I believe we had the best location.

The restaurant was slower and the staff could’ve been friendlier.

Location, views, comfortable bed, quiet Excellent staff. They arranged our transfers to the hotel and helped with an existing check out transfer. Rosaria Schiavo was very diligent about keeping in touch with me regarding our transfers

Air conditioning not cooling enough, bathrooms too hot/no vents.

Great location. Smaller rooms on the upper floors with now views have been upgraded and are nice.

Staff at the restaurant weren’t friendly and overworked. The large suit rooms have not been upgraded

Absolutely beautiful hotel with a great clean pool with stunning views of the Bay of Salerno. Staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Room size very good, beautiful views and great central location few minutes from Ravello square. Would not hesitate to book here again .

Just a minor point, but more choice would be good for breakfast. However would not stop me booking again as was still adequate.

Location was excellent. Staff were friendly and unfailingly helpful. Food in restaurant and terrace for lunch was excellent. Would recommend this hotel to anyone going to a wedding in Ravello.
