Ravello. The Pool. This apartment is all about the location,views. & pool. The apartment itself is basic, clean, and comfortable, but for the money paid, I would expect better. Although I knew what to expect I was slightly disappointed overall. There are many steps down to this property due to its location, and it is difficult to locate at first. *This property is NOT for those with mobility or health issues as it is difficult to access with baggage. That said, the vista is exceptional, and Ravello is beautiful. The pool area is great also and the lounging area with same view is outstanding.

No water, fruit, or anything on arrival after a long hot travel day with difficulty accessing the place. No signage or directions and poor communication from the hostess.

The view when you walk through the gate is just spectacular. The room was spacious, clean and the grounds were well maintained. We had a garden view and was very nice. Was very peaceful and quiet, even struggled to hear the thunder when in the room.

In our room there was a trickling noise coming from the walk in wardrobe. Would be the only issue throughout the stay. The steps I thought would be an issue but weren’t that bad. However, If you have walking difficulties, I wouldn’t stay here.

The hotel manager, Eufemie, is a 20 on a scale of 1-10. She does whatever it takes to make her guests feel welcome. we could not have done with out her. the apartment was a house at some earlier point. large living room, dining, full kitchen. private patio overlooking ocean. bed comfortable.

Steps. anyone with mobility issues should think twice about booking. was almost 70 steps to get to our room and we were about the least number of steps. If it wasn't for Eufemia, we would have a very difficult time to get to our room.

Beautiful villa with gorgeous views! Pool is absolutely amazing overlooking mountains and ocean, the whole property and gardens are breathtaking. Villa itself is a bit older, but got everything you need. If you are looking for a quiet vacation with most beautiful views - thats the place! Center of Ravello and Villa Rufolo are next door. Communication with the host was great. Definitely great value for the money and wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Ravello.

The room was spacious and the kitchen had enough equipment to make breakfast every morning. The location of the room was excellent and the sea view was amazing. Eufemia was extremely helpful and friendly. She made us feel very welcomed.

The refrigerator door did not close properly and the shower door leaked quite a bit, these would be my only suggestions to the owner or management.

Amazing villa, has a fantastic pool with a great view. The apartment was rather big, with a nice small garden to each apartment. The hostess was very kind and left us gluten-free cupcakes in the room because she knew I was intolerant.

There were a lot of small bugs (and bees) around, which is natural regarding the beautiful gardens of the villa, but should be considered nevertheless. The lights weren't great, but there was a lot of natural light. The pool isn't heated and was very cold (mid May)

We loved the location, right in the centre of Ravello and a short walk to the main square. The views from this place are absolutely incredible. The room was comfortable and had everything necessary, including good fans for the heat, an outside terrace, large fridge and kitchen facilities, as well as a separate bedroom and living area. The host was excellent at keeping in contact via WhatsApp and responding to any needs.

The pool was out of use due to a plumbing issue when we arrived. However Eufemia arranged for us to use the neighbouring hotel's (Hotel Rufalo) pool which was lovely. It is not a dislike, but we would add that some of the rooms are difficult to access and there are a lot of steps at the property to be aware of.

Villa Casale is the most beautiful place that I have ever stayed. The grounds themselves are picturesque, and the views are incredible. The pool was lovely, plenty of beds and it was never too busy. The apartment itself was perfect for our stay, it had everything we needed. The kitchen was well-equipped and they even provided us with a little basket with toasts, jams etc.. Also, our garden view apartment did not have AC (they did provide a fan) but somehow it was always perfectly cool at night despite the heat and humidity outside! Eufemia was very helpful and friendly before and throughout our stay. The location was amazing, just a few minutes from the main square, restaurants, shops etc., and basically next door to Villa Rufolo. The festival was on at Villa Rufolo during our stay so we were basically treated to free concerts which we could hear well from our garden (they did not go on until late at night and were not loud with the windows shut).

The only thing that wasn't so great was the shower temperature - it was either very hot or very cold.

You are staying there for the view, the pool and the close location to the centre of town- easy to walk to restaurants and some basic shopping A 20-30" Bus( limited schedule but 2 euro) we were only able to use it once or taxi to Amalfi (50-60 euro) where u can catch a ferry to Capri, Positano and Salerno This can get expensive but not the hotels Fault- just wanted to mention The town is busy enough but not super busy like Amalfi which I liked Eufemia was friendly and easy to communicate with- She met us in the town centre and brought us to our room which was wonderful because the villa Would be hard to find otherwise I would definitely stay there again!! Air conditioning was great Room had a fridge/toaster/hot plate as well As Utensiles/plates etc We did not use them but if we were staying for longer May have- although I am not sure where u would buy food Bed was comfy There was an outdoor area to our room where u can sit/eat with a lively view

Wi fi did not work in our room- read the reviews as this is a common complaint

Amazing outlook, everything we needed for a short stay, very handy to square and easy check in. Host was very easy to communicate with.

Would have been nice to have a washing machine, even if it was communal and unfortunately there was a slight distasteful odour coming out of the drains towards the end of our stay
