Perfect situation on the border between residential and tourist quarter. Clean and bright room with shower and own toilet. Very enthusiastic owner of B&B, lift, infrastructure (shops and restaurants) close to the building. Daily serviced stock of the breakfast ingredients in the fridge and shelf. Shared kitchen.

Nearly nothing. The street is not very busy ,but the pub across has closing time around midnight. It could be felt as disturbing detail, but in fact, compared with other places across Italy, here was the situation very good-only people in friendly communication-the level of noise is tolerable.

Location is really good. 15-20min from the Vatican and 10 from the metro station. A lot of small supermarkets, restaurants, shops around. The room was very nice, clean and spacious. The mattress is VERY good. The breakfast is good although is pretty much suggary products and there is no fruit available but the coffee is great. One good point is that the food portion for the day is available for you all day, not only for breakfast. There is a kitchen and you can also cook something if you want, just like home.

They gave us a room that was still being used (had clothes on the wardrobe). We had a guided tour booked for that day and while we were going to the location the host called us, telling that they gave us the wrong room and asking to come back and exchange keys. The host even mentioned that we could get some sort of discount to make it up for us. We went back and almost missed our guided tour, but the host never told us nothing about that discount or wtv to make it up for the inconvenience. The street is not that quiet at night, there is a small bar/cafe that is open until late night and people tend to be a bit loud on the outside. Had to wear earplugs to sleep.

The apartment is pretty close to metro station and everything that you can need, you can find near - supermarket, laundry, restaurants. It's about 10 min walk from Vatican and 10 min on metro to city center. Apartments are made from big flat, so there are 3 apartments and the common area. In the common area you have everything you need to prepare food - microwave, stove, kettle, variety of plates and cookware. Breakfast was more italian style - bread, coffee, yogurt, croissants, jams, juice. But we were prepared and just bought slices of meat and cheese. This was enough to have great sandwiches for breakfast every day. They give you shelf in fridge and in the kitchen cabinet, where you can find products for breakfast and also store your own. In the apartment everything was nice, there was enough space, nice view from windows, and it was warm enough for December. There are one big bed and 2 sofa beds, enough place for 2 adults and a child, can be a bit tight for 4 people. TV was functioning, wifi connection was fast enough. You have your own toilet, it was fully equipped and clean. The service was perfect. They are cleaning the room every day and updating your products. Also they are always ready to help with any problem or question. Check-out at 10:30, but they allow to stay a bit more if you need. Also you can leave your luggage at the property if you have a late flight and want to walk around the city before the flight.

Just small notes, that doesn't affect the rate - decorative elements of the bed creaked a bit. The shower system requires replacement or repair - it is impossible to adjust the height. Not sure if this is the problem of the property - it was hard to set the temperature of the water flow - it was either too hot, either too cold - requires some time to adjust.

Arches B&B is perfectly located—just a short walk to the Vatican area and very close to the metro, making it easy to get anywhere in the city. Restaurants, supermarkets, and other conveniences are all nearby, so you really have everything you need within reach.

The B&B does not offer breakfast; only instant coffee powder is provided. This wasn’t a problem for us since we were out exploring all day, but it’s something to keep in mind if you plan to eat breakfast there.

Everything! It was fabulous. The location was amazing, easy walking distance to the Vatican and very close to the Metro making it extremely easy and convenient to get to all attractions and the airports. The apartment building is a beautiful old building in a stunning non touristy, residential area with so many gorgeous places to eat close by. There is a lovely communal kitchen which Paolo leaves breakfast items, tea and coffee out for each apartment so you can make your own breakfast when you are ready. Each apartment has its own shelf in the cupboard with a great selection of pastries and breads, and also in the fridge with yoghurts, juices and milk, these are restocked every 24 hours, therefore if you feel like eating your breakfast items as a midnight snack instead you are free to do so, and if you are leaving for the airport at 3 am you can still get your breakfast. Paolo was a wonderful host, very warm and welcoming with many tips on things to do and places to eat in the area, but also completely non intrusive. He was always available by text and was more than willing to help us when we needed advice on an issue that was completely unrelated to the accommodation. I cannot recommend Arches B&B highly enough, it was fabulous and amazing value for money.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Arches B&B has a very good location being near lots of restaurants and shops. Vatican City is merely 15mins walk away as well the shopping street in Otaviano. The hostel is clean and staff are very accommodating. Paolo gave information of places to visit, while the lady that cleans the place, however has limited English was also very nice and super sweet. Will definately recommend this hostel.

The owner was very friendly, helpful and flexible. Thank you again! :) The balcony is supercute, we enjoyed sitting there every day. The room itself is nice. What was great was the level of cleanliness, and how often (and discreetly) our towels were changed. Basic daily breakfast supplies were a nice touch.

Noisy climatisation from other room. Absence of washingmashine... But I guess its usual to stay there for 2-3 days, not the whole week like we did :) Nothing else to brag about :)

Paolo who checked us in is a very friendly person. The B&B is very conveniently located for a walk to Vatican. It is also very near the Ottaviano Metro station that can take the Hotel's guest to most of the important sights in Rome. The room was quite spacious and the small balcony is the perfect place for breakfast.

The place is a bit dated like the rest of the Prati - and Rome is general. The refrigerator made nonstop noise (alarm) through 2 nights.

The location of the facility is perfect, very easy access to the metro, close to a supermarket, and at the same time slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. Paulo, a very friendly owner, created conditions for a comfortable stay for us. The rented room was clean, spacious and well-equipped. For a fee of 10 euros we could arrive after check-in time. We had free access to the kitchen. Paulo treated us to delicious Italian coffee. We will definitely come back to Paul.

Close to St. Peter Basilica Friendly and accommodating staff. Its lovely staying in Arches Don’t forget to ask for new towel - they are willing to give its just that I always forget to ask. There is always nice Italian breakfast everyday, never run out of milk and juice in the fridge. Thank you Arches and the staff.
