Loved the location, quiet and peaceful. The staff person "N" was helpful, adjusted to our needs and was friendly. Wish the twin room had a window. Beyond that, no complaints, highly recommend this as a great place to stay

As above, would of liked a window. Also a mirror in the room itself, so if a person was using the bath and dressing area, there was an additional mirror.

We had a fantastic stay at this little oasis of calm in the heart of a very hectic city. The works of art in the house and ‘tropical - feel’ garden are interesting and unusual. The location is excellent and all the major tourist sites are within walking distance. The area around is a student area and very vibrant with plenty of places to eat and drink amongst the narrow streets and alleyways. The room was large, comfortable and furnished with a great selection of antiques and artworks. The staff were delightful and friendly, especially the gentleman who served at breakfast, which was delicious with a good choice of items. We would definitely stay here again.

The property is an oasis of calm in a bustling neighbourhood. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The size of the bedroom was very good for Rome and the bed was very comfortable. The terrace is the highlight.

The bathroom in our room felt a bit dated and could do with an upgrade. The room just had a large window door facing the terrace and no further windows. Therefore it was quite dark.

A beautiful place to stay. Close to everything, perfectly situated in Trastevere. We particularly loved the private rooftop where we had breakfast every morning. The staff was very serviceminded and helpful. Can highly recommend this place.

Nothing really

Such a magical little getaway. Wonderful location- extremely central and yet so peacefully tucked away. Beautiful interior, with a serene garden, a wonderfully little dog and the most special host and staff. I would come here again and again; it’s a real gem.

Excellent place for couples. Great service, Nalin was very attentive to any wills. Incredible location, at the edge of the pedestrian area with a lot of small bars and restaurants, across the river, and at walking distance from the historical center of Rome.

Breakfast could have some vegetables. The price is on the higher side, but it worth it.

It was an exquisite place to stay that was exceptional and so convenient in terms of location . As an artist I especially appreciated the beauty of the design and the lovely artwork of Luisa Longo . It was so quiet and the delight of finding the garden beyond the metal gate was extraordinary. The staff was so attentive to every need including dear NOA the sweet dog that enjoyed breakfast with me every morning . I would HIGHLY recommend this little gem in the heart of Bella ROMA .

Loved everything about the host, staff & property and would definitely stay there again! An oasis, a balm, elegant, full of art, warm & welcoming. Luisa & Nalin were extraordinarily kind to us. It was hard to leave.

Breakfast each morning was amazing. The location was absolutely perfect! The entire property was like a hidden oasis from the streets of Trastevere. I was beyond happy with my stay and experience.

There was nothing I didnt like. The whole experience exceeded my expectations.

The service was incredibly friendly and personal, and the hotel is a unique experience with its wonderful atmosphere and exciting interiors. With direct access from our room to the beautiful yard, our stay couldn’t have been more idyllic. Perfect for couples! The location is amazing. Just a few metres from the gate, the liveliest parts of Trastevere is at your disposal. And with a short walk (15-30 minutes) to the most important sights, we didn’t need taxi or buses at all during our stay in Rome. BG will be our go to destination for our future trips to Rome.

The breakfast was definitely to our taste, but if you consider it the most important meal of the day, the selection might feel a bit limited. But definitely a great tasting and light way to start your day.
