The employees of the Relais la Fornarina are very welcoming. They took care and adapted to little changes that happened on our side (like delayed arrival due to canceled flight). Everything was very uncomplicated. Rooms are cozy and clean. The location was perfect for us as it is basically just at the edge of a nice area being dense of resteraunts, bars and life - so when leaving the hotel you can jump straight into a good time, but within the hotel it was suprisingly quiet for such a lively district. Also it is close to the river which offered some nice nightlife. To the east you can reach the historic center of rome quite fast, to the west you can walk up a hill offering a nice panoramic view over rome, to the north-west you'll find Vatican City - you can reach it all by foot, but a Taxi-Lane is not far from the hotel if you prefer. so overall it's really a great place to be, to start exploring rome and just relex afterwards with a good wine and delicious food :)

The lady serving breakfast was super nice. The options were VERY limited. The cafe across the street might have been the better option. Overall, the room was small but fit all of us and the beds were great and super comfy. The room and shower were clean and there were plenty of towels. The AC took a minute to cool down the room but once it was cool, it stayed pretty cool. The noise on the street was to be expected and didn't bother us much. Overall, Great place.

It was very close to a lot of shops/restaurants/popular places. Also, 200m away from a taxi ring so if needed easy to catch a taxi. We walked to the trevi fountain, panethon and Piazza Navona which was only 15 minute walk away. Good continental breakfast each morning, staff was very friendly, a massive TV! Good sized room, bed and bathroom too. All in all, good place to stay!

This place was a great stay, but if I had to note things for improvement - shower could have been a bit bigger, and it is a little loud as the area is known for good "night life" this did not bother us, very minor.

Espresso and breakfast were a fantastic bonus. We found the location to be so fun. Lots of food and bars nearby, live music on the piazzas, etc. Hosts were fantastic and thoughtful, kept everything clean.

Our only challenge was in getting the room cool enough at night to sleep; it seemed like the AC couldn’t quite get the room below 23° Celsius, and we find it hard to sleep if it’s above 19°.

Friendly staff and easy checkout during breakfast hours, but no full-time staff on site. Can store luggage at adjoining restaurant if early arrival. Code provided for street door access. Bustling street but not considered noisy. Quiets down over night. Cappuccino/coffee machine at breakfast. Nice croissants. Clean room and comfortable bed. Small fridge in room and instant coffee/tea hot pot.

Some darkening (mold?) On A/C heat unit should be wiped clean frequently. Was OK for us since a short stay. Otherwise room was bright and clean!

Great location in the lively Trastevere district and close to places of interest and pubic transport. Also got a discount on meals from associated restaurant which served excellent food. Breakfast was great with freshly baked croissants, served by lovely, friendly and helpful staff.

Instructions on how to find the place and how to check in could have been better.

The breakfast included fresh bakery items and coffee/tea. The staff was super nice. The location is excellent, in a lively neighborhood with restaurants and coffee shops. 15-20 min walk to Vatican and Rome staples. There is some street parking near the hotrl if you prefer to have a car. Would definitely stay there again.

The location is very central and the room was quite big and very comfortable. The bed was really good! The breakfast was nice. The staff serving breakfast and the staff members of the restaurant polpetta (on the ground floor), that did the check in, were very kind. It was a great stay!

The management was not very client friendly. I did not manage to get a printed invoice, which is not a problem because it was sent per email, but the communication was very impolite and rude.

It is a lovely property in the heart of Trastevere. Very central Lovely breakfast

Our bed!!-it has seen better days and is very concave-you get in and roll down to the middle. As it’s very hot -to not have a flat space is not refreshing. My husband ended up sleeping on the floor-for space.

Great location above the Restaurant Polpetta in the heart of Trastevere. (10% discount for Relais guests). Breakfast was very good, with lots of baked goods to choose from. Bed was comfortable; bathroom was clean and spacious with nice products, Window seat with a view of the Aurelian wall. Easy check in at the Polpetta bar.

The room is a little noisy, especially during kitchen cleanup after restaurant closing. But it settles down fairly quickly. The last bit of stairwell to our room was steep and narrow, slightly difficult to negotiate with suitcases. Backpacks would have been easier.
