Lovely place in excellent location on the edge of the busy part of Trastevere. Very quiet street next to the botanical gardens. Room was large, clean, very comfortable full size bed. Large clean bathroom. We had a small balcony which in winter/early spring was a bit bleak, though nice for morning tea on a sunny day, and would I am sure be great in the summer. It was easy to walk every where from the location. We left bags in the communal kitchen on the last day and staff were helpful and efficient about letting us back in to collect them when we were ready to leave.
One of the shutters did not have a mechanism for securing it to the wall so banged in the wind at night- had to get up in the night and close shutter- not a big deal once knew where the noise was coming from- though the mosquito netting was securely attached and someone had already made a hole in it, clearly so they could close the shutter.

Once we figured out the arcane entrance method, everything else went smoothly. We were in a room but also had a common area with refrigerator, sink, dishes, utensils, a coffee maker and electric tea kettle. There was also a small fridge in our room. This is a very old house, and much of the charm is still there. The bathroom was very modern with a walk-in shower. The wi-fi is excellent. This is on a short street that leads to the botanical garden.
There are only five outlets in the room (one in the bathroom), and three of them are taken up by two bedside lamps and the modem. A bit tricky to keep two phones, a computer, and iPad and hearing aids all charged. The only tables in the room are those next to the bed and one on which they left water and prosecco and the remotes for TV and heat/AC. One more would be nice. My computer and my husband's iPad had to live on the floor.

The location is amazing, 10/10. On a gorgeous, quiet street tucked away in Trastevere and opposite a beautiful gallery building with impressive gardens. However, walk 2 minutes and you’re right in the heart of Trastevere. The property and area felt very safe as a solo female traveler. Perfect spot to also explore the wider Rome area, around a 20-30 minute walk to Vatican City and 30 minutes to the Colosseum. The apartment building itself is stunning, the room is also beautiful and well equipped and clean. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Entry is via a mobile app / code system which was very well communicated before I arrived. Room was made up / cleaned every day and there was even a complimentary bottle of Prosecco when I arrived!
The inner gate lock seemed to be broken which potentially could be a safety issue, however there was a coded outside door to get through before arriving at the gate so it didn’t feel too much of a safety risk. Not many sockets in the room, only one free one plus one in the bathroom. Room could do with a dressing table with a mirror and plug socket as a getting ready station.

Location is great in Trastevere with lot of restaurants and close walking distance (~15 min) to Rome city center and the Vatican. Our room (Studio w. Terrace) and the separate bathroom are large in size. Very fast response from owner/landlord when I had questions. Separate kitchen with free coffee and possibility to use refrigerator and some places to sit for eating.
Bed linen was only changed after 5 nights after we asked for it. Room floor was not wet cleaned, only vaccumed. Rooms are not sound proofed, you hear other people walking and noise from surroundning apartments/stairway. Room information said garden view but it was no view, or very - very limited view towards neighbour windows/balconys.

Quiet street, but just a short walk to the Trastevere precinct. Large room with high ceilings and balcony. Well-appointed bathroom with generous amounts of shampoo, shower gel etc. Helpful support was available at all hours via Whatsapp. Went back for a second stay when we missed our train due to a strike. They were really helpful.
Access via phone was troublesome after being out all day and needing sufficient battery. There were four layers of access to the building - front door, gate, shared area, individual room. These were locked and unlocked via the phone. It took a little while to master. A simple code would have worked better for us, that was independent of the phone.

THE BED! The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The room had an air conditioning unit you could control which I appreciated. The bathroom was spacious (for Italy). The tv had Netflix/streaming services which was such a nice touch you don’t get in a hotel. The courtyard view was also very calming to wake up to everyday. I really loved this apartment - very comfortable and well done.
The need for WiFi in order to access the rental (street door, inside gate, apartment door, room door). Once we were acclimated, the entry process was fine, but took some trial and error. Luckily we ran into another tenant who showed us some tricks on how to open the various doors/gate.

The property was great. Being able to access the room keys from my phone was very helpful. The room was extremely spacious. We also enjoyed the daily room clean which so many places no longer offer. The staff was very helpful in getting me all the information we needed. I also loved having a comfy chair and a small desk for both of us to chill out after a day of exploring before climbing into a very comfy bed.
I like at least three towels for a couple vs. the two but they did trade them out with the room clean.

Decorated stylishly, bathroom size was atypical, it was HUGE, loved the view, stellar! The common area kitchen was a great hangout space at the beginning and end of our day. We would have a glass of wine and review the day. It was wonderful.
There is an odor that is caused by not having traps in the sewer line, so the odor comes up through the drain system. That is the only "negative" and that can't be helped when you are staying in authentic, older neighborhoods. The odor is worth it for the location an the vibe!

Lovely location! The room was fine and the bathroom much larger than usual. The atmosphere of our view into a private courtyard and the possibility of storing your own breakfast in the common area.
I believe that the fact that there is no reception is the cause of quite a lot of late night noises: Some talked very loudly in the common area, others had trouble entering with the key system. It should maybe be more obvious that the hotel has no reception, since mainly elderly people seem to be surprised by this - we had to help several other guests getting access to rooms and network.
