House keeping comes twice a day. Area: Every attraction is within 5-8 minutes(Spanish steps, Trevi fountain, via condotti where the high brand stores, and the hotel’s street is all shopping (zara,h&m, Disney, italian stores….. and a supermarket is close. the is a palace is from 19 th century. Staying at the Grand Hotel Plaza in Rome was a truly memorable experience. The hotel is breathtakingly beautiful, with interiors that resemble a princely residence—ornate, historic, and full of character. Its central location is another major strength: just steps away from the Spanish Steps, Via Condotti, and within walking distance of all of Rome’s most iconic attractions and best shopping areas. The staff, particularly at reception, were professional, welcoming, and made us feel like guests rather than just customers. We were pleasantly surprised by a complimentary room upgrade and the offer to check out in the late afternoon at no extra cost, which added great value and comfort to our stay. Breakfast was served in a magnificent hall and featured a wide and high-quality selection. Although some areas of the hotel could benefit from a bit of maintenance, the overall experience was absolutely five-star. Prices are very reasonable considering the service, the spacious and elegant rooms, and the chance to enjoy such historic surroundings. Staying here feels like riding in a vintage Rolls-Royce—perhaps a bit dated, but undeniably full of charm—rather than in a modern but soulless electric car. Highly recommended.

A few small touch-ups here and there to address minor signs of wear due to time and use would further enhance the experience without compromising the building’s character. It's important not to confuse “historic” with “worn out”: the antique elegance of this hotel is part of its unique charm and identity.

It’s location is great much better than other hotels, the farthest sight was an 8 min walk. Moreover, we sensed a good hospitality from the staff.

I recently stayed at the Grand Hotel Plaza in Rome, and it felt like stepping into a fancy old movie. The hotel is really grand and fancy, with beautiful decorations everywhere. The people who work there are super nice and helpful. They made me feel really welcome and took care of everything I needed during my stay. My room was like something out of a dream, with a big comfy bed and a nice view of the city. And the food at the hotel was delicious—I especially loved the breakfast! Overall, staying at the Grand Hotel Plaza made me feel like royalty. It's a really special place that I would recommend to anyone looking for a fancy and comfortable stay in Rome.

If you like to immerse in history, you would certainly like Piacentini’s Hotel Plaza Rome. You will transport yourself in time and enjoy its high ceilings, rich frescoes and marbles. You will take pleasure in its multiple receptions, in the peaceful quiet atmosphere, that makes time stop. Prominent figures such as Charles de Gaulle, Umberto Eco, Pietro Mascagni, Sir Winston Churchill, Gianni Versace, George Clooney, to name a few, enjoyed the same tranquility you will do. It’s surrounded by charming restaurants and shops, thanks to its central location. The staff is really fantastic, alert, helpful and always with a smile. A wonderful, peaceful experience, plenty of luxury. I will highly recommend it.

Perhaps, it will complete the experience to have room service, but then, you have a bar downstairs.

We travelled to Rome and stayed at Grand Hotel Plaza for our honeymoon. The hotel is like travelling back in time. It’s opulent and charming and the perfect Roman experience. We received excellent treatment from the staff and the location is fantastic. We had a view of the piazza and drank coffee and watched the buskers. Loved every moment of our stay!

Location is the best in Rome, i come here often for the last 10 years. The type of room i chose is perfect size for me. Breakfast variety is good, but could be better, specially there are no coffee machine.

No kettle or coffee machines in the rooms. Breakfast coffee is from a THERMOS .

A wonderful way to finish off our 4-week holiday in Europe with a spurge at the beautiful Grand Plaza. The staff were wonderful, addressing us by name throughout our stay, making us feel known and welcomed. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the hotel was stunning inside; beautifully designed throughout, in keeping with the history of the hotel. Being on the main street of Rome, the hotel is within walking distance from major attractions and in the heart of the shopping area. Special thanks to staff Matteo, Miguel and Ali who made our stay memorable and enjoyable.
