The rooms were really simple and clean. The room was cleaned daily with fresh bedding and towels also. The roof terrace was a real gem with really great views of some of St Peter’s and Rome centre. The staff were really friendly and we really liked the local area of San Pietro. Only a 15 min walk from the basilica and the Vatican, and a quick walk to Dan Pietro station to get into the city centre.

No food option or bar option were offered us. Didn’t matter as there are an infinite number of options for food and drink within Rome.

The rooms were very clean and so were the sheets and towels..No breakfast but they provided a kettle which enabled us to have our breakfasts in the privacy of our rooms with what we had brought on the first day and also bought at the mercato for the following days. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, which we enjoyed. We were given airy, sunny upper floor rooms as we had requested in advance. Vatican City and Museum were within walking distance, and so were the other prominent museums, though a bit farther. The staff did their best to provide info for all kinds of enquiries. No need for a taxi to reach the hotel from San Pietro Station.

Walking uphill from the station with suitcases was quite exhausting, especially after a long, nervebreaking trip from the airport because there was a strike on the day we arrived. Transportation facilities were limited. ıt took us too long to reach the hotel. Quite nerve-breaking. Taking a taxi from Roma Termini would be more advisable on arrival and departure if you have suitcases,

I really liked the roof top patio on the 5th floor..It was beautiful looking down on the Basillica. The location was very good...a 15 minute stroll took us to the Vatican. The hotel was on a hill but we went out in the morning and stayed out all day getting a taxi back at night for around 15 Euros

There wasn't anything I could say I didn't like.

Hotel Alessandrino saves our vacation by taking us in with no notice after we decided to leave an Airbnb that did not meet our expectations. The hotel was so clean and comfortable. We had a rooftop balcony all to ourselves. The staff were so kind and professional. There are many good restaurants in walking distance. It is in a very peaceful residential neighborhood. Highly recommend!

I absolutely loved the location because it is close to Vatican City and a bus and train line. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful when I asked questions about the places I was going to visit in Rome. As I’m writing this review, I am max at myself that my memory is not working and I can’t specifically remember the staff names. However, I want to reiterate how helpful they were to me and my niece. I will definitely recommend this hotel. I also loved walking up the 91 stairs to get to the top from the bottom of the street. I exercise regularly and used those stairs as part of my exercise regiment while there.

There is nothing I didn’t like.

A good hotel, the location is great, it's close to the train station of S. Pietro and about a twenty-minute walk from the Vatican. Staff are kind and polite.

It was quite annoying that they didn't put the TV remote in the room, and the air conditioning couldn't be adjusted, so you have to open the windows to not get cold.

Nice, tiny hotel on a side street in an unexpectedly quiet and I think safe corner of the city just aside the Vatican. Reasonably connected during daytime by train railway and buses at walking distance, however beware that you need to climb up and downhil to reach the hotel by foot. Not very modern but lovely room with small fridge and a tiny bathroom in my case, reachable through a lift. Nice, freely available terrace with views. This hotel has a 24/7 doorman service, handling room keys and security.

I believe they don't have a car park. The location is very central but public transportation is scarce, and climbing uphill by foot can be tiring unless you're young.

Location of the hotel makes it exceptional. In the city center, just 5 minutes walk to the train station and 15 min to Vatican. It's not a luxurious hotel but good value for money. Definitely recommend for short stays or city break trips.

The room would need a bit of renovation. Other than that everything was perfect.

The staff were amazing, helpful and very kind. The hotel itself is very basic, just for sleepover.

The wi fi is very bad. I wish there was breakfast option, I believe that would improve overall opinion about the hotel. The place is up the hill, the bus stops are not close so if you are with kids, bare this in mind

Nice hotel in Rome for fair price. Easy walking distance to vatican. Room was practical. Great value for money. Were also able to store our luggage while exploring the city.

Room and hotel could be more modern. Need to walk up a hill after arriving by train. No problem for us but might be for others.
