Breakfast was ordered the night before; you marked off what you wanted and what time (between 8:00 and 10:00) you wanted it, and it was brought to your room. There were many options, and you could order as much as you wanted. The cappuccino was excellent; the fruit was fresh; and the cornettos were absolutely the best I've eaten. The hotel was impeccably clean. I was given a code number to access the front door after hours, which also worked for the hotel (which is on the fourth floor of a beautiful old building) and my room. As a solo traveler, I had a small single room, but it was certainly big enough for my 8 day stay, and had all the conveniences I could have needed. It was also very close to the Via Nazionale bus stops and the Piazza della Reppublica metro and bus stops, and within reasonable walking distance of Termini station. Lots of good restaurants in the area!

If you're the kind of traveler who wants 24 hour desk service, this is probably not the place for you, since there is no one at the desk after about 8 pm. However, during the day and early evening, they will do anything they can to help you and make you more comfortable. Also, if you are unable to climb stairs at all, there are nine steps you need to climb, in order to get to the elevator that takes you to the hotel on the fourth floor. Neither of these were a concern for me, and I would certainly stay here again.

Ideal central location, very convenient to Termini , Metro and buses, and short walk to university, and many attractions. Good communication from Hotel, with clear and detailed instructions on location, and codes. It is on the fourth floor with some other hotels and private appartments in the building. Staff were pleasant, helpful and quietly attentive. Public areas were spotless with plenty of information available on the hotel, family, and things to do in Rome.also sweet jars and biscuits restocked daily were a nice touch. Room was spotless, nicely furnished, well appointed, queen sized bed was perfect. It also has a safe and fridge. Bathroom with walk in shower was larger than expected and again nicely laid out and had all the usual items. Plenty of hot water. Breakfast delivered to room was a first for me, but plenty of choice. Finally, the airconditioning thriughout was very welcome. All in all excellent place to stay and good value for money.

Nothing of any significance

The breakfast was of exceptional quality, delivered in a professional manner each morning to your room. The staff were impeccable and very polite. The hotel had 9 bedrooms and a small reception area all very tastefully decorated, set in a beautiful building on a safe street. The bedroom was very spacious, even having a kitchen area. I would thoroughly recommend, as it was so quiet and private after a busy day in Rome, a little haven!

Very small matter of there not being any staff in the hotel late afternoon/ evening. I guess they are only a phone call away.

Our family of four (two parents, two young adults) shared a junior suite for three nights--one bedroom, one living area with two couches made up as twin beds, a small table and kitchenette. Note that the bathroom is accessed from the bedroom. Location is quiet, a little removed from the main tourist areas but easy walking distance and close to Monti for dinners out, also very convenient to Termini. We really appreciated having a simple breakfast (with ample coffee) delivered to our room, especially since Rome was our first stop and we were still a little jet-lagged. Thank you!

Everything was fine, but likewise nothing stood out (except the breakfast service!).

The included breakfast was the Highlight of my every morning was looking amazing, fresh and you could order exactly what you wanted making sure you would not waste food either. All items are fresh and delivered at exactly the indicated time.

My room was just right next to the service/kitchen door of this lovely hotel and that was a very minor annoyance to have people during the day back and forth moving outside my room but I also understand the hotel opened the day i arrived and they were still figuring things out. And the staff was beyond amazing and sweet and caring.

The location is fantastic. The central train station was only a 10 minute walk away, and I was able to walk to the Colosseum, Vatican, and Museum of Modern Art, all in under one hour. There is also public transportation nearby. There are excellent restaurants and a variety of shops near the hotel, especially around the train station. The rooms are well maintained and clean. The cost was reasonable given its central location. The breakfast was served in my room and the menu choices adequate. It's not luxurious, but then I just wanted a clean place to sleep, spending most of my time exploring Rome.

The hotel occupies the fourth floor of the building. As long as the elevator is running, it's not a problem. Also, breakfast is served only between 8 and 10 AM. Because of arranged tours and my flight schedule, I was only able to take breakfast 2 of the 4 days I stayed there. Most hotels typically begin breakfast service at 7 AM.

Nice little hotel, about 10 minutes walk from the central station, closer even to the next metro station. Very tasty breakfast served in the room at the desired time (their croissants are gorgeous). The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and provided very good instructions for late check-in. The room was mostly quiet, with a large comfortable bed, nice rather spacious bathroom with rain shower and bidet. Very efficient air conditioning which can also be easily switched off completely if too noisy. Very good wireless.

Things would be almost perfect if the noise isolation of the room's door could be improved.

The location was really convenient to get to the metro but also some other nearby sites of interest. The staff were very friendly and let us keep our luggage before check in when we arrived early in the morning. Indeed, the staff were very friendly throughout. We stayed in a one room with a bathroom, everything very clean and comfortable. We had a number of choices for brakfast, which were delivered to the room at a specific time in a chosen window and we took advantage of this on days when we weren't immediately out the door in the morning. Overall, a great choice and I would happily choose this hotel again.

Very minor point in order to fill the textbox here: this is on the fourth floor of an apartment building and there are stairs but also a tiny elevator. The elevator certainly fits 2 people with luggage, we did once use it with 3, and it claims it can old 4 but it would be very tight. If you are traveling with a lot of luggage or require more space because of a wheelchair, for example, then this will be a difficult property. I want to make it clear that I personally expected this to be the case for such an apartment building and for me was by no means a problem at all, and did not detract from my comfort of the room/stay in my opinion.

I got a room for a great price, breakfast was included. Its very very good location to train station and all attractions. Breakfast was served in the room and it was amazing. The place was very clean, and the room cleaned daily. Very grateful for the little details like biscuits and desserts left in the hall if you fancied a snack in the day. We had coffee pods and tea in the room. We had water bottle and presecco. These 2 we had to pay for but the price was super cheap. Thank you for welcoming us!

Hotel Donna Francesca is a small hotel with 9 rooms, located in a beautiful historic building on a wide, rather quiet street. The hotel is centrally located and convenient to many attractions / points of interest. Access to the hotel is via a wide entrance gate - shared with other residents of the building - and a spacious stairwell with marble steps. The hotel has a pleasantly intimate atmosphere and has been furnished and decorated with care and attention, with a focus on quality. Depending on the choices made - a self-selected time between 8:00 am and 10:00 am and based on a list of options from which you can choose - breakfast is brought into the room on a trolley, after which breakfast is consumed in your own room. On reflection, I found this very pleasant, because it was possible to have breakfast in peace and quiet and also efficiently, because you did not have to go to a dining room to gather your breakfast there and see what else would be available. In my opinion, more hotels should consider to use this system. My hotel room was small, but fresh and really clean and contained everything I needed during my stay, including a built-in fridge (which was also thankfully quiet). The staff is friendly, committed and helpful. Questions are answered sympathetically and you feel that they strive for satisfied customers, which is very nice to notice. I felt at home in the hotel. Due to the aspects of the hotel described above, there is a pleasant and professional atmosphere, for me even somewhat homely, which I appreciated. I will definitely return again on my next visit to Rome.

My single room was quite small. Initially I was a bit shocked by this, but the quality of it ensured that I did not find it permanently annoying.
