We enjoyed our stay in Rome. The apartment was very clean and tidy. Everything was perfect except a small but very important thing that was the heater which was not working properly and stopped working many times. We got some warm through the AC that was present in the living room and the bedroom but the kitchen and the bathroom were very cold. The Royal crown team offered us to move to another apartment but we didn’t, because we liked this apartment and we were adapted with the warm AC. The royal crown team tried many times to fix the problem and finally but after 3 days the problem was solved. Apart from that problem everything was fine. The location is perfect and 7 minutes away from Roma termini. Thanks

Very good location, 20 minutes' walk to all major sights. The apartment was tasteful and cozy.

Maybe it would be time to think about changing the sofa, because it squeaked very loudly even when sitting down. The bed mattress is also very worn.

Intricate details in every room. Captures the essence of Sorrento. Both owners personally escorted us to the room and took our suitcases up the stairs. Snacks and Limoncello on arrival. Got us reservations on request for the local favourite restaurant, which was only a 4 min walk away. Overall, an absolutely beautiful stay.

I loved the location! I am a walker and I was able to walk EVERYWHERE from this location. That includes the rail station to the Vatican. And I found local restaurants on days that I wanted to stay close. The space was beyond my expecting too!

Upon arrival, we were surprised to be charged an additional €35 for an "evening hour service" fee, despite the entirety of the booking process being conducted digitally. This fee seemed unjustified and inconsistent with the transparent pricing advertised on your website. Furthermore, our discomfort continued as we discovered that the air conditioning unit in our apartment was excessively noisy, making it impossible for us to sleep. Despite our attempts to rectify the situation by closing the unit, our efforts were in vain. Regrettably, despite notifying the management, no assistance was provided, resulting in a sleepless night for my family and me. To exacerbate matters, the bathroom door unexpectedly detached and fell on my wife, leaving us without privacy or the ability to use the facilities discreetly. Despite our repeated requests for assistance, no action was taken to resolve the issue, leaving us feeling neglected and inconvenienced throughout our stay. In our efforts to seek resolution, we contacted the property owner, who suggested compensating us for our troubles. However, their proposed solution of cancelling our booking and offering compensation directly to our account seemed unorthodox and did little to address the myriad of issues we encountered during our stay. As a loyal Level 3 Booking.com user, I am deeply disappointed by the subpar experience we encountered at The Royal Crown Rome. I have been a regular user of your platform for many years, relying on its convenience and reliability to facilitate my travel accommodations. However, this recent experience has left a lasting negative impression, and I urge you to take appropriate measures to address these concerns and prevent similar incidents in the future.

1. We were arriving around 6pm from Florence, had to return our rented vehicle, and didn't know the exact time we would be arriving. However, we were told we will need to pay 20 euros if we arrive after 6pm. We got there and the doors were open through the app automatically. Why pay 20 euros? 2. The kitchen did not provide any cookware that would be usable (US standards). Microwave was at least 50 years old from its look and compared overall - I would think it would be much better to add the right appliances to the space that looks modern and welcoming. 2. The kitchen had the stove but it was not possible to use - no lighter was provided to start the fire, so we had to run to the grocery store but it did not have any lighters so we had to be creative to turn the gas on using tiny little flame. Not safe! 3. The dishwasher was not working but we didn't know until we loaded all the dishes and tried switching it on. 4. The dishwasher liquid, dish soap or the towels were not available in the kitchen, not sure how anyone would be able to clean the dishes after food. To summarize, we ended up using restaurants and coffee shops for breakfast, lunch and dinner, which with two kids is not ideal, but meal would be impossible to prepare or enjoy and in the current kitchen. 5. We did notify the office about all the issues in the kitchen - no word. 6. There is mold on the ceiling in the shower and the paint is cracking in the bathroom.
