The staff were lovely, the bed was comfortable and the room felt clean. The location was very good. The hotel is a short walk to the main station and close to the Villa Borghese Gardens. The Colliseum is a pleasant short walk away and it is very easy to get to the Vatican City by metro with two metro stations close by. The reception was open 24 hours and they allowed you to store your luggage there on the check-out day.

Although the en suite bathroom was newly decorated the water pressure was low. The double room itself was on the small side.

Location is fabulous...just five minutes walk to Republic Square and Metro, easy access to most attractions. Breakfast was just 5 euro and it was fabulous. There are Italian Opera concerts on the first floor at the Methodist Church and we could hear them for free. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

It's a two star hotel, but the location is excellent, and the price is great.

The staff was friendly. Also the breakfast at a reduced price of 5 euro is well worth it.

There was an extra city tax of 40 euro And there was no taxi service to the airport as advertised.

The staff were consistently warm, welcoming, and very accommodating to our needs. Rooms were well-maintained, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing and worry-free stay. We also appreciated the attention to detail—from smooth check-in processes to the thoughtful amenities provided. The locations of the hotels were also ideal—close to transportation, major attractions, and good dining options. Our overall experience was seamless and enjoyable from beginning to end. We would definitely recommend these hotels to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again in the future!

As a solo traveler, it's very important that the hotel feels safe and secure, which it definitely did. The main entrance is very secure and uses an intercom after dark, making it very safe. The hotel is very close (900 m) to Termini station (about a 10 minute's walk), Most guests were either couples, families, or professionals traveling for work purposes, which makes a nice and quiet environment for the hotel. The hotel is on the 4th floor and has an elevator, so no need to worry about luggage. The staff members are very kind and helpful and always offer caffé, amazingly delicious cornettos, pastries, and tea all the time. The room I had was a good size, the bed was very comfortable (queen), and it has a closet with hangers, a table, and 2 chairs. The bathroom was very big and comfortable. I had a weak internet connection in my room (which was about 12 meters from the entrance), but I asked the person in charge of the front desk if I could sit in the lobby and he was very helpful in arranging a table and chair for me, close to an electrical outlet. Also, the cleaning crew does a very fast and efficient job and is very mindful of noise and privacy.

You have to consider that the building is old and does not isolate sounds, so if your room is near the entrance, you will hear everything that's going on, just ask for a more quiet room in the back. If you're a light sleeper, keep this in mind. Also, the bedsheets are not changed at all. I stayed for 5 days and always had the same sheets, but I neglected to ask the cleaning staff to change them, which I'm certain they would have done because they were very nice all the time and supplied me with extra toiletries when I asked. The towels were changed daily. I would recommend the hotel check the shower doors/curtains because they are somewhat outdated, have some tears, and do not close properly, so there is some spillage when taking a shower.

"Location" Was absolutely perfect, a 30 second walk and you're already reaching cafes and small shops. After 2-3 minutes you are on the high-street, plenty of cafes/restaurants/Bistros/stores to choose from. You are also within minutes of bus stops as well as the subway (Metro). The La Fontana di Trevi (beautiful fountain) is within walking distance. "Room" Wonderfully charming, clean, very comfortable bed. "Breakfast" We took advantage of the special offer over the weekend, 5 euro pp for the buffet breakfast. The choice was ok, enjoyed the Bakewell tart with my coffee :o) "Staff" Exceptionally friendly and helpful. Always available, always on hand to give advice and directions.

We knew in advance that there was no iron and ironing board available, so this is just information for future travelers. We brought our own travel iron and improvised using the table.

My sister and I booked a twin room at the last minute. We got a really great price and were not expecting much. This was a nice hotel on the 4th floor of building serviced by a lift. Our room was quiet. Bathrooms looked newly renovated. Beds were comfy with nice bedding. Room was large for Rome. Breakfast was 5euro and included cereal, pastries, fruit, cold meats and cheese. The breakfast room is in a lovely glass atrium and there is also a glass sitting area. Hotel is in a quiet street with other hotels and we walked from Termini.

Our only issue was the water flush for the toilet, but it did work with a couple of tries.

The location was great! The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and I loved the design of the bathroom! It had everything for a short stay of 1 night. As we were out all day before our flight the next day. I would definitely stay again for a short stay.

The fridge didn’t work but reception took a few small bits we had into their fridge which was great. There was also a lot of noise from the windows when there was heavy rain that night and a bit of water got into the room, it can’t be helped as it’s an old building so it just might need to be looked at.

I had an incredible experience staying at this hotel in Rome. Everything about it was amazing! The room was not only affordable but also comfortable and well-maintained. The location couldn’t have been better – within a 20-minute walk, you can reach iconic landmarks like the Colosseum and several other fascinating attractions. What truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome – it’s the perfect combination of quality, convenience, and affordability.

The hotel felt traditional. It had character and was not homogenous and modern, but was clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely and helpful when we had questions. I needed some batteries and the manager gave me some. We had plenty to eat at the continental breakfast.

One of the plug fittings was a bit old and hard for the plug to stay in, so it could do with updating. Very satisfied overall, though.
