Staff were friendly. They also have their own bar till 12am and you get free snacks when ordering drink. The location is really really good. If walking is something you enjoy, its only 15mins to Trevi Fountain and about 30mins to Colosseum, Pantheon, Roman Forum, Trojan Forum and 20mins to Gallery Borghese. The hotel is also right in the middle of many bars and restaurants and 11mins to the main train station - Rome Termini.

The hotel exceeded our expectations! The room was comfortable and warm, classic with updated, with all the necessities, including a good hairdryer and a kettle with a selection of teas. The shampoo provided was very good. The bed was wide and comfortable, particularly for my pregnant wife. The area around the hotel is very nice and safe, its windows overlooking the Grand Hotel and some nice museums, one minute of walking to the Republica metro and 5 more to Termini. There's a convenience store 3 minutes walk from the hotel as well. Do consider that it's a walk uphill from the historic center, but there are plenty of buses and the aforementioned metro to get you there. Breakfast was especially important for us, and we must say it was plentiful, with many healthy and vegetarian options to choose from, including a vegetable quiche, plain yogurt and eggs.

The cups in the room were disposable, would've liked actual cups.

very well located Hotel, 10’ walking from Termini central Station. All major places of interest are at walking distance of 10 to 20 minutes. Fine hotel, maybe old fashioned, very friendly and welcoming staff, spacious room with street view, silent. Assorted and complete breakfast.

the bed, even though it was big, wasn’t comfortable. the matress needs to be replaced, the springs no longers works ok.

Perfect location with friendly staff who are so helpful and engaging. Giovanni was excellent in helping us with all our queries and organized our early morning taxis to get to a meeting point for a Tour and also on our departure to the Airport. Walking distance from most of the main attractions, restaurants, and shops and about a 5 min walk to the train station (with a child). Breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly! Very clean and tidy rooms. Housekeeping was excellent. Our beds were made every day with fresh towels every evening on our return from a long day out. Value for money.

The hotel was very nice and the staff were helpful and very pleasant. Our room was clean and quite big, good view being on the top floor. Breakfast at the hotel was good, plenty of choice and the staff were very attentive. The hotel location was excellent being just 5 minutes walk from the Metro which we could then take to get anywhere we needed in Rome.

The only possible issue we had was with the shower in the room. With it being over the bath, there was limited space to stand under the shower and the water temperature varied a lot, warm one minute, cooler the next. Not a massive issue really but probably just because we prefer a walk-in shower.

I had a great experience with awesome memories from this hotel. Location is perfect, not far from the Termini on foot and to Trevi Fontaine as well. Hotel served Breakfast which is soo delicious with a big variety of food: fruit ( peaches, apple, banana, pineapple etc) eggs, sausage,salami,cheese, cakes , Juice and delicious coffee. I was enjoying the breakfast alot. The room was clean and full with all needble stuff. Just want to ask to add some bottles of water if possible for drinking. Its a must for a hotel service in my opinion. The reception did a high service assistance on reception. I appreciate all and absolutely satisfying with my stay. Marina M.

Need to arrange a few bottles of water in the room already included in a price for the stay in the hotel. It's important thing and should be settled upon arrival for guests for free.

- bed was comfortable and large - mini fridge in the room - great shower - staff were friendly - thanks to Orazio and Luciano - breakfast was tasty and enough options - good location to transport and Trevi fountain

- toilet flush was not great - no air con in the room, it was fairly warm the whole time even when we put on the fan with no heat

Hotel is perfectly situated, one minute's walk from Repubblica subway station. Rooms are spacious and luxurious. Breakfast is generous. Staff is very friendly. Hotel consists of two "wings", that are accessible separately. The wing I stayed had no reception, but access to it was available at all times. Excellent water pressure in the showers and sinks. An absolute necessity. High quality linen. Nice toiletries. Great view of the inner courtyard, historic buildings.

No actual lobby or bar in the hotel for a quick fix.

Its cozy, location is good

The bathroom should be renovated to be more clean, and the duvet inside the cover was not clean, should be more attentive also to wash the duvet not only the cover. Also we paid for extra 3 hours 100euro its kind of expensive, our booking was for 3 nights but we arrived early morning so we paid for a night that we didn’t sleep, when we asked for a late check out they said we have to pay 100 euro extra . In total we paid almost 900 euro for 2 night and half day

We informed the hotel we were celebrating our 10Y anniversary and requested a room with a bath. Hotel Mascagni gave us a room as requested AND we found a bottle of prosecco in our room on arrival. This was a very nice touch! Every day our room was cleaned by Anna and it was perfect upon return to the hotel. The breakfast has every option you might want and the cappuchino was the best we ever had <3

The bath was kinda small if I have to say something negative but I'm a small person so for me it was fine!
