This property exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and had all advertised amenities, but I did not expect that the air conditioning would be so excellent. It was a very hot visit in early August and I was worried the room would have standard hotel air conditioning which takes a long time to work. However, Hotel Patria had excellent air conditioning, making for a very comfortable stay. Location is great: a 5-10 minute walk from Roma Termini.

I wanted to leave my suitcase at the hotel on the day of check-out whilst I went out to lunch. Staff told me to leave it in the corridor, which did not feel safe or secure as anyone could have taken it. I don't think it would have been difficult for them to have just put it in a safe room.

Great location near the Termini train station for day trips and metro was right around the corner for city travel to attractions. Was close to restaurants and shopping and short trip on the metro to attractions, but we walked most places, as they were all pretty close (except the Vatican). Great room with lots of space and a large bathroom with a rain showerhead. Tea/coffee making facilities, a safe and the room was serviced daily. The breakfast was fantastic buffet with lots of options. The staff were very friendly and the front desk staff spoke great English and were able to hep us with a lot of directions and questions we had.

We booked a twin share as I was travelling with my father, the second bed was more of a day bed. Both beds were very hard and we only had one blanket for the room, even after trying to make the aircon to a warmer setting, it still was cold and one of us had to use towels as a blanket.

Walkable to most of destinations. Daniele was very helpful. My room was a great space. When I checked in I found the toilet plugged and extremely dirty but it was taken care of immediately. My family’s room was just OK. They need to change the couch as it wasn’t comfortable.

I found the breakfast choices very slim and expensive compared to other hotels that I visited in the three weeks of my travel throughout Italy. The lady working in the breakfast room was not very friendly. The room my family was in had a terrible couch mattress, so bad that my daughter-in-law slept on the floor.

Excellent staff. Breakfast was very good and a pleasant surprise. Very clean hotel. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it for my friends and family

Our room had a wifi dead zone right at our bed. No apps on the smart TV to watch(as someone who doesn't speak Italian this is a good perk to watch movies and shows in English). Bed was a bit too stiff. No trash can in the room other then the bathroom. Please note these are all minor things that did nothing to take away from our experience...well...maybe the wifi deadzone...I did alert them to it and they said they will be moving the booster for our room (201).

The renovated rooms were very good! Fortunately we did not stay in the old rooms. The cleanliness and the staff were very nice at all times.

We arrived at Patria Hotel with some initial concerns, as the reception area seemed quite small, and the lift could only accommodate two people at a time. It left us a bit unsure about what to expect. However, once we reached our room, our entire perspective changed. The room was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean—definitely great value for what we paid. The bathroom was equally impressive: large, modern, and well-maintained. We were pleasantly surprised by how much better the room was than we initially anticipated. What truly stood out during our stay was the exceptional service. Patria offers 24-hour reception, and every staff member made us feel welcome and attended to. One employee, Daniel, went above and beyond when we encountered an issue with our delayed luggage from FOC Airport. Although it wasn't part of his responsibilities, he took the time to assist us in getting our luggage back, and we couldn't be more grateful for his help. His kindness and dedication really made a difference in our experience. Overall, we had a fantastic stay at Patria Hotel, and we highly recommend it for its excellent rooms, attentive staff, and exceptional service. We’ll definitely be back!

Dear, helpful staff. We arrived around 11 in the morning, planning to drop off our luggage and explore the city, but they told us the room was already ready (supposedly check-in is from 2 pm), so we could occupy it. Refreshed, we were able to start exploring the city. Varied and plentiful breakfast, constantly replenished. Great location, everything is within walking distance, only the Vatican required a metro ride; the metro station (Repubblica) is a 2-minute walk away. We requested in advance to have two separate beds, and we were given such a room.

There was only one glass in the room.

HOTEL RECEPTION - excellent service, extremely professional and efficient, as well friendly team, whom I thank for helping us with numerous tips, thus enriching our stay in Rome LOCATION - great, near Via Nazionale, restaurants, shops, city tour busses stations, metro, airport shuttle, walking distance to many (or all) monuments.... BREAKFAST - great offer, hot-cold, fruit-vegetables, pastries, drinks, cakes - for all options ROOM - modern design, comfortable bed, good shower, air conditioning and wifi, excellent daily cleaning service

The staff was incredibly welcoming, warm, and pleasant. In every interaction, all of them made sure that my family and I were well assisted and comfortable. The human touch was truly remarkable, and it made our trip even more special. Would stay in this hotel again for sure. The room was nice, clean, and well equipped. Very comfortable, in general. The location was great, we walked to most landmarks. There are many nice restaurant options around the area. Would recommend this hotel to other people for sure.

Everything was great.

We were early to arrive. The staff had a room made up immediately and we checked in early. We were given maps and had some wonderful restaurants recommended to us. When we checked out the hotel arranged a taxi for us to get to the airport. I had read reviews online before and was a bit apprehensive but the hotel catered to my request for a twin room as I was sharing with my father. The room was immaculately clean and was cleaned to the high standards every day. We had our rooms made up and fresh towels placed in the room without having to ask. A great experience! I will 100% stay there when I come to Rome again!
