The “roof top bar” ….This is a major issue ! It above all the rooms and you can hear everything ! The rooftop is not open most of the time (excellent) but when it is they operate it like a private Disco. They have private functions on it that are very loud and the went very late 4 AM ….there was a lot of foot traffic through their out door cafe area …especially very early in the morning

The breakfast was vey good (eggs, toast, breads and meat) and the coffee was excellent. There is an outdoor dining/drinks area that we used several times: very very good gin and tonics!! The staff were courteous, friendly, and helpful. There are many small restaurants and shops of all types within a short walk. We had no problems getting taxis or Ubers to the property for pick up or drop off.

This isn't really a dislike but instead a suggestion based on my experience and conversations with other guests at breakfast: If I operated the facility, I would have all setup for the rooftop bistro/club completed prior to dinner time. The club itself wasn't noisy, but at times it sounded like boulders were falling onto the roof during setup.

The staff was absolutely lovely upon arrival at the Hotel, more of a bed and breakfast, but definitely worth every penny. The Rooms had nice high ceilings, comfortable beds and great AC. On top of that, it was spotless. Breakfast was great, not an open buffet style they still come around and treat it like a special meal. The location was also perfect, Trastevere is such a quaint and cute neighborhood with so much life still, and you’re super close to all the tourist attractions (travelled everywhere on foot). On top of that, we were given a welcome drink for our first evening!

The bathrooms are very clean, however, just some practical issues with the Shower. Bit of a language barrier with the staff however, they are very accommodating and google translate fixes that with no issue!

This hotel is in a prime area - walkable to all main areas and local places to eat yet out of the business of the city! We loved the outside patio area that was so enjoyable after long walking days. They had live music and we could order drinks and relax together. The breakfast was very much appreciated and offered a great variety. Staff was very nice and helpful.

We had two rooms for our stay. There was no air conditioning at the time we were there. Our room was comfortable but the second room was on the warmer side. Fortunately - we could open the windows to let the air flow!

Perfect location set atop Hill in Travestere district. Close to restaurants and bars. Had a good rooftop bar which we went to. Had a decent size room with large bed.

Staff seemed to be confused at times with service and lack of communication. Further, we paid for a room with air conditioning which didn't work for the 5 nights we were there. We were not compensated nor did the staff seem to bothered by this. We stayed during quite hot nights and couldn't keep windows open due to many insects and getting bitten.

The location is the best thing about this hotel. It backs on to the Botanical Gardens and has a lovely outside area where you eat breakfast and can drink/eat in the evenings. You feel away from the hustle of the city yet you are minutes away from the lively restaurants and bars of Trastevere. This is a great area, small cobbled streets and beautiful old churches. You can walk to the colloseum, Vatican and Pantheon in roughly 25 to 30 minutes. The hotel is small and friendly and the breakfasts are generous. The rooms are in an old building, with nice high ceilings and decent bathrooms. Would stay again.

There was a little noise late on (Friday only) in what appears to be a private roof terrace event area about the rooms. This was minimal disturbance though.

Excellent location - quiet but very close to Trastevere and good links to the city centre. Very friendly staff.

The nice atmosphere, a quiet place away from the hectic situation down town. We really enjoyed the bar and restaurant outside, where you could start the mornings and have an apertivo before dinner.

We had challenges to handle the warm water in the shower and we were not able to handle the AC, and needed to have it on constantly.

The breakfast was delicious - lots to eat and lasted me well into the day. The person making and serving breakfast was super personable, nothing was too much trouble. They also sent videos ensuring I could get in okay as my flight was delayed - this was super helpful!

Even though I was given advance warning of a party happening, there was a lot of loud music two nights in a row which went into the early hours.

Room was beautiful and spacious, and location was excellent. This hotel is in the Bohemian Quarter and we didn't have to go far for good restaurants, atmosphere and shops.

There was an unpleasant odour that would come from the bathroom drains, which was disappointing. One guest got locked out and continued to bang the door all night and disturbed our sleep. The code on the door does not work and was double locked. It would be useful to have a night shift person on the grounds. Breakfast could've been more varied, for example eggs would've been nice to be on offer.
