The breakfast was vey good (eggs, toast, breads and meat) and the coffee was excellent. There is an outdoor dining/drinks area that we used several times: very very good gin and tonics!! The staff were courteous, friendly, and helpful. There are many small restaurants and shops of all types within a short walk. We had no problems getting taxis or Ubers to the property for pick up or drop off.

This isn't really a dislike but instead a suggestion based on my experience and conversations with other guests at breakfast: If I operated the facility, I would have all setup for the rooftop bistro/club completed prior to dinner time. The club itself wasn't noisy, but at times it sounded like boulders were falling onto the roof during setup.

Perfect location set atop Hill in Travestere district. Close to restaurants and bars. Had a good rooftop bar which we went to. Had a decent size room with large bed.

Staff seemed to be confused at times with service and lack of communication. Further, we paid for a room with air conditioning which didn't work for the 5 nights we were there. We were not compensated nor did the staff seem to bothered by this. We stayed during quite hot nights and couldn't keep windows open due to many insects and getting bitten.

Excellent location - quiet but very close to Trastevere and good links to the city centre. Very friendly staff.

The location is the best thing about this hotel. It backs on to the Botanical Gardens and has a lovely outside area where you eat breakfast and can drink/eat in the evenings. You feel away from the hustle of the city yet you are minutes away from the lively restaurants and bars of Trastevere. This is a great area, small cobbled streets and beautiful old churches. You can walk to the colloseum, Vatican and Pantheon in roughly 25 to 30 minutes. The hotel is small and friendly and the breakfasts are generous. The rooms are in an old building, with nice high ceilings and decent bathrooms. Would stay again.

There was a little noise late on (Friday only) in what appears to be a private roof terrace event area about the rooms. This was minimal disturbance though.

Room was beautiful and spacious, and location was excellent. This hotel is in the Bohemian Quarter and we didn't have to go far for good restaurants, atmosphere and shops.

There was an unpleasant odour that would come from the bathroom drains, which was disappointing. One guest got locked out and continued to bang the door all night and disturbed our sleep. The code on the door does not work and was double locked. It would be useful to have a night shift person on the grounds. Breakfast could've been more varied, for example eggs would've been nice to be on offer.

A location that's hard to beat, tucked away behind the busy Trastevere neighborhood, in a quiet corner at the feet of the Gianicolo hill and at walking distance to Fontana dell'Acqua Paola, Piazza Trilussa and Campo de' Fiori. The hotel is tiny but nicely designed, cozy and warm. Our room was the smallest but we also booked in very last minute. The staff was very gentle at our arrival and the manager was open to some chitchat and helped us book a cab. great value for the location

Room size

This is a stylish hotel brilliantly located in Trastevere. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and the hotel does a great breakfast. The rooms are nicely decorated and there is an outside terrace to enjoy a coffee before walking into the centre.

The rooms could be cleaned better (ours was a little dusty) and the replacement of toilet roll, shampoo etc was a bit random – bottles and rolls were replaced even when not used fully, which seemed a little wasteful. Also the drains smelt bad so our bathroom could get smelly – but this was probably unfortunate/unusual rather than normal.

Lovely location. Close to local restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast.

Noise from roof terrace.( there was a “rave” on our first night ,til the early hours of the morning…next day, staff assured us, it was a one off.) Bed mattress was too firm for our liking. En suite in need of redecoration. We would have preferred a walk-in shower.

Historical building with beautiful artwork and very helpful staff. The breakfast was also good but a rotation of a menu would be very appreciated since it gets a bit boring eating a croissant everyday.

Croissant everyday :( Room was a bit small, it would be hard to fit with a baggage. There was an occasional smell coming from the drains. No biggie but still unpleasent.

Location was amazing, super close to all the restaurants and bars as well and bus routes for the main attractions. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

You can tell by some details that the hotel has been there for a while and needs a small refresher. The pain in the room could use a touch, the lights where emit all working in the bathroom, one of the lights in the bedroom was with bad connection and the bed wasn’t very well made in the first night.
