This gorgeous apartment in an old palazzo has a big living / dining area and a small but very well equipped kitchenette with an oven and fridge. Upstairs to a lovely big bed, lots of cupboard space and drawers and a very adequate bathroom with a small shower. Very close to St Maria Basilica in the heart of Trastevere. Second time in Trastevere with my daughter, ideal location for sightseeing. Will definitely stay here on our future visits.

We can’t find anything negative to say about Palazzo Velli. It’s great value for money and the correspondence from Valeria before we arrived was first class.

Location was brilliant , right in the heart of Trastevere, a very vibrant and young place. Beautiful restaurants and bars on your doorstep. Valeria and elite were very accommodating with our arrival time and were able to allow us check in at 1pm. This was very helpful for us as we had a lot of luggage. Apartment was spacious and plenty big for four adults. Valeria kept in touch and responded quickly to our requests Overall a very nice stay

No luggage storage and streets are cobble, so very difficult with lots of bags. I would return for a long weekend with just one bag. Check out said 11am, but we got an email to say we had to check out at 10.30 am. Also, our electricity went on the morning of checkout, which was inconvenient but was fixed once made aware.

Location was great. Trastevere has so many restaurants and bars nearby, perfect for a night out. It was also within walking distance of the Vatican. It has a large gate, separating the bustling neighborhood from the Palazzo suites. Very quiet and cozy once inside. We received our self check-in instructions with no issues. There is a gorgeous courtyard once you are past the gate. Very secure area. The facilities are a little dated, but it has many modern amenities and furnishings. We didn’t use the kitchen much, but it had the essentials. The living room was quite big, and held a dining table, TV, couch and sofa bed. It also lead out into a small patio space with table and chairs. Bathroom had a full sized bathtub with shower, toilet, bidet, and sink. Bedroom had a wall to wall closet. Very clean and comfy bed.

We had to stagger our shower times so that we would both have hot water. The bathroom fixtures could use a bit of deep cleaning as well. The bedroom AC appliance was a bit older, so it took a little longer to cool down the bedroom. But the newer one in the living room worked perfectly. Not many toiletries given. There was wall-mounted shampoo and conditioner and some hand soap by the bathroom sink, but not much more. Plan accordingly. The WiFi was a bit spotty in the bedroom, especially with the door closed. We eventually found the router/modem in the kitchen and had the best WiFi signal while in the kitchen and living room.

Beautiful two story accomodation. Really great location. Facilities excellent in the apartment.

The noise at night. It was so loud. There is an unused wooden door in the apartment that has a bar across it. The far side of the door is outdoor restaurant seating. The noise is extremely loud at night, and after the diners leave, the staff move all of the tables, chairs, and heaters. It's so loud. There was a sofa bed right beside the door that was in use during our stay, so it became a really big issue.

Palazzo Velli is a beautiful building, and the location is exceptional to explore Trastevere and Rome in general. The streets are bursting with life, and there are lots of cafes and restaurants to choose from. What's more, there is an art gallery in the building, a museum and a pretty little church just opposite. The apartment's facilities are just enough for a short stay. The bed was very comfortable.

You can hear the noise from the street, get some ear plugs and you will be fine. There was no wi-fi.

Very clean, spacious and in great location! The area is always busy but safe, surrounded by restaurants, shops, everything you need. The bus station is also a few mins walk from the apartment. Note that’s a very touristic area if you’re not looking for that. We only stayed for 3 nights, but I could definitely stay there longer in the future!! Highly recommend if you’re looking to stay in the Trastevere area.

Nothing. But it’s slightly far from the center if you don’t have a car and plan to move around a lot.

You can’t beat this location for an authentic Roman experience in the bustling Trastevere area. And even though you’re in the thick of things with bars, restaurants and shops on your doorstep, the large gate to this property creates a quiet enclave to escape to. The accommodation is fairly simple yet did the job for our family of 4. The price is good value for money.

The set up of the lounge and TV is a little awkward when you just want to sit and relax but it’s no big deal.

Spacious split-level apartment in a historical old building in perfect location for those who love to explore the heart of Rome on foot. Very quite and relaxing apartment despite vibrant night life right outside with multiple cafes, restaurants and bars. We stayed in January during some cold days, but the apartments was very warm, and we really appreciated heated bathroom floor.

A well-lit mirror on the ground level would be a nice addition. Also some instructions on how to use the water-heater are required, because for us it was not clear how it operates.

Very very comfy bed, lots of space in the apartment and places to store clothes etc. Lovely space to relax, right in the middle of everything, amazing restaurants and cafes nearby. Our apartment was very quite and we had no issues with noise. Would definitely recommend for a couple. Didn't use the sofa bed so cannot comment on that. Courtyard looks lovely as you walk in. Little table, chair and umbrella set on the terrace too.
