The room was clean, all the linen sparkling white, beds were comfortable, and it has A/C that really works. They came to clean the room everyday which was nice. The location was perfect, we could walk to the major attractions, and you have a bus stop to the Vatican 1/2 block away. You can take the subway from the airport and walk to the hotel, but we took a taxi because there was a fire on the subway, and they didn't know when they will open again. The taxi fare was 55 euros, and it is published on all the taxis. You have to check in in another hotel, but it was not far away like 2 blocks away. You can leave your luggage at that hotel if you arrive early and come back at check in time to get your key and pin for the doors. To check out you just leave the key inside the room.

Perfect location( close to all the important saits with walking distance). Very friendly staff (if you need informations ask at the reception they will help you for sure ). Clean room( they come every day for cleaning and change towels). Value for money . Espresso machine in the room for morning coffee. Also they can store your suitcases at the checkout if you have to spend more ours before you go

No key for the elevator (we had to carry our suitcase with the sters) luckily it was at the first floor. The room needs renovations specially the shower floor and the door ( there was a crack at the door and we can see outside) . Also not a big problem but the first day there was capsules and one use cups for coffee, the second day only capsules and the third day neither of them .

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's location. It is situated on one of the main shopping streets, which made it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. Excellent restaurants are just around the corner, offering authentic Italian cuisine, and both the train station and the iconic Coliseum are within comfortable walking distance. The staff was welcoming and attentive, making my stay even more delightful. The room was clean, cozy, and well-equipped, enhancing the overall experience. I would definitely choose Hotel Regina Giovanna for my next trip to Rome again!

It was clean and comfortable. Air conditioner worked well and bathroom was lovely standard with fantastic plush towels. Communication was great. Received messages to remind about check in and asked about bed preferences. Location was great too. Managed to walk to many of the must do spots like the Colosseum and Trevi.

Only downside was having to check in at a sister hotel The Golden Tulip Prima which was about a 5 minute walk away from the property. However staff there were very helpful and friendly so not a big issue.

For what you can expect in Rome, this accommodation exceeded my expectations. Location is great, even though room overlooks busy Via Nazionale it is quiet, bed is comfortable and the bathroom is decent. Sights and attractions are at a walking distance. The place is old fashioned, but hey you get what you pay for and most importantly the bed is good and the bathroom is decent. TV actually works with one touch, which I appreciate in hotels. The only extra is a Nespresso machine with capsules included, which I used for making hot water for tea, so kettle was sorted. If i traveled alone I would repeat.

Everything was pretty much up to expectations, so I cannot complain. Reception is at the Golden Tulip hotel, about 5 min walk away. Which is understandable for such few rooms it may not worth maintaining a fully functional reception.

the room was nice and bathroom was nice. the room had a balcony but it faced the alley. the location was great!

the check in process was not what was expected. the taxi charged 48 euro to bring me to the hotel location. there was no one on site representing the hotel. the man in the reception for hotel miami was very helpful in letting me know what to do and that i would need to check in at the other hotel site. This needs to be listed when you book the room. The elevator was out and had to take the stairs with my suitcase. these were really the only issues.

When I firstly booked i was unsure because of the low reviews. But what I found was a clean, comfortable and accessible hotel. It was amazing. We stayed for 2 nights and I can say it was worth it. It is very close to repubblica metro station where u can easily acces the vatican which is a bit further than other sites. Other than that Fontana di trevi, the Spanish steps and other sites were easily accessible by foot. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Rome.

This hotel was so clean and comfortable for us. We never use bus,train or taxi for where we want to go. Because location was good. We had hot water every time and towels enough. hotel has not slippery and keetle for guest in room, Just we didnt like this. Reception on different place but its okay because so near hotel. I could prefer again. Staff was so kindly.

The room was nice in between Termini train station and city center. Everything was clean and air conditioning was good. No noise from outside. A lot of restaurants and bars along the street. Great breakfast spot behind the building.

There is no reception and you need to register in another hotel, but it was not difficult.

once I found it, it was very pretty.

how hard it was to find. going to another location to check in, which was labeled in small writing Hotel Piram under a huge sign that said Tulip Grove. once I was finally checked in I was told to go out and turn left and left again. that wasn’t correct it was further than just two turns and it was labeled Hotel Miami. it’s only when I got to the 4th floor did I find anything that said Hotel Regina Giovanna. even then it was a locked door to three apartments. it was very unclear.
