Excellent breakfast to be ordered but anytime you can ask for resupply. Stuff is friendly and helpful with exception of two receptionists which were ignorant. Rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable.

Photo of junior suite in upper floor is misleading - in reality the second room has low ceiling and no windows and is passthrough room to the toilet.

It's the second time I stay at this hotel and I still loved everything I loved the first time: super friendly staff who actually cares about you, fantastic location, comfy beds, a clean room of the right size with everything I needed, and very high standard compared to what you usually find in Rome, particularly for this price. I will come again!

Last time I stayed at this hotel, the room was pretty cold, so this time I had come prepared with tons of super heavy clothes... But this time around, it was actually boiling hot :D I'm sure it was me not setting up the air con properly, so next time I will pay more attention to this.

This is the second time we've stayed at Hotel Varese in Rome. It's just a few minutes from Roma Termini, which is very convenient if you need to take a bus to visit the historic sites. The staff is very kind and attentive to every detail. There are fresh fruit juices and sweet cookies available all day in the lobby. The juice is delicious, especially refreshing after returning from a day of sightseeing in the hot Roman weather. The room is cleaned daily, very comfortable, and the shower is a good size (which can be hard to find in Italy). Breakfast is varied and well-organized. On the day we were traveling, they prepared a takeaway breakfast with fruit, water, cookies, jams, and more, since we had to catch an early train. The staff on duty even offered us an espresso, which was a perfect way to start the day. I would definitely stay at Varese again.

This was my third time staying at this hotel. As always, the staff is incredibly nice and accommodating and genuinely cares about you. Comfy bed, spacious room, the breakfast is ok (and was served very quickly given the booking system), and it's a 5m walk away from the station! I have stayed in some hotels around this area that weren't even proper "hotels" but just random room on a floor of a building, but this is an actual hotel and, given the area and the price, it's a good one to stay at and I will come back for sure. It's not perfect (see negatives) but the good definitely outweighs the bad.

Out of the three times I've stayed at this hotel, this was the first time that the room wasn't so clean. There were some watery stains on the floor of the room when I came in, and when I cleaned them with some paper, the paper was completely black. Walking in every area of the room I could tell the floor was sticky, as both slippers and shoes made noise: I definitely wouldn't want to walk there barefoot. The elevator was also a little dirty. Still, it didn't happen the other two times so I'm sure this was just an oversight, and everything else in the room was clean.

Excellent position near the train station, the metro lines and the hop on / hop off buses. The room was quite large. Outside noise was minimal, because the window opened towards an inner court. The room was cleaned daily. Good breakfast with enough choices and a virtual buffet -- due to the limited available place, you order what you want to eat from a menu.

The bathroom had some oddities: - the fan was quite noisy when turned on and weirdly, it was pushing air in. - the door handle was touching the shower glass wall when fully opened.

Excellent Breakfast with a menu a la carte. Many options. Well located just 4 minutes from Termini Station, Rome's main train and bus station. Great option to stay close to the Center. Just a few minutes by Uber from the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and Temple of Hadrian. The service is excellent. We even needed help buying crutches and delivering forgotten items. The staff and manager Massimiliano are exceptional. Beyond expectations. Also noteworthy are the receptionists Antonia and Federica who helped us with information, maps and itineraries every day. I recommend it.

The elevator goes to the 4th floor where the family rooms are, but there is still a small flight of stairs. This made it a little difficult to get around with crutches. The rest is perfect.

<Location> 1. Near the airport bus stop 2. Near the meeting place for various tour packages, 3. Safe area around Termini Station. <Service> 1. Friendly staff 2. Accurate wake-up call 3. I couldn't have breakfast because of the tour package, but the hotel packed my lunch and kept it for me! Impressed! <Facility> 1. Hot shower 2. Cold air conditioner 3. Strong safety box 4. Toilet bidet <Other> Suites are available for regular room prices during the week. Best for family travelers with children. <Disappointing> 1.Because of its good location, it is a three-star facility but a four-star price 2. Cleanly well-maintained, but narrow and old building. <Comprehensive Evaluation> An exemplary hotel that overcame its disappointments and achieved high ratings in important points. I would like to pay tribute to the manager.

My stay at this hotel was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I could feel the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel staff deserves special recognition – incredibly polite, helpful, and always smiling. The breakfasts were absolutely fantastic, especially by Italian standards. A rich selection of fresh products, aromatic coffee, crispy bread, and a variety of cheeses made every morning start in the best possible way. Everything was carefully prepared, and the quality of the food was truly impressive. Additionally, the hotel is impeccably maintained – its elegant decor and pleasant atmosphere make it a perfect place to relax. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay.

This is a small, older hotel that is conveniently located just about a 5-minute walk from the large Rome Termini train station. This is ideal if you are arriving by train or bus from either Fiumicino or Ciampino airports. The neighborhood around the hotel seemed very safe during day or night. There are lots of small local restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. The hotel staff were all very friendly. We had one of the larger rooms, which seemed to be recently remodeled. The small refrigerator in the room was very helpful. The bed and room were quite comfortable and quiet. The complimentary breakfast is really nice, where you make a reservation for a breakfast time, and then you order as many items off of their menu as you like, and within a few minutes they bring you the food and drinks in their small dining area. I would consider staying at this hotel again when I visit Rome.

We didn't really have any issues during our stay. All was very nice.
