Very close to Restaurants and Carrefour supermarket and bus stations. Only need 5 mins walk to arrive Basilica di San Pietro. And love this vintage old elevator, something different experience for me. Highly recommend for short staying and solo travel, save a lots of time visit around with nice locations. The bed and pillows is very comfortable, it's memory foam pillows, very comfy. Amazing bath tub, fulfilled of my short trip to relax.

If your flight will land at midnight, or pass the check in time, they will extra charge. Better check it before you do booking.

Everything was beyond my expectations, it was excellent , the location was perfect for exploring the city and the neighborhood is very vibrant, lots of caffès, bars and great restaurants, the Vatican just around the corner as well as lots of other sights We stayed there for 7 nights , although it’s on a busy street , the windows are perfect so once shut you can rest and sleep without noise, the bed is very comfortable I felt at home The building itself is very charming and if you are a lover of architecture I’m sure you will enjoy it The best part is that you have a cleaning service of your room every day with fresh towels and a perfectly made bed The staff is very pleasant and professional and everyone is doing a really good job there 10/10 and would recommend

Best location for someone who wants to stay close to St Peter’s Square. Room is decent sized for a family of 3 or best suited for couple. They had a mini fridge inside the room and wardrobe and kettle. 1 small water bottle and 1 small soda bottle was given everyday. Staff is friendly. We did not opt for breakfast but had a look at the breakfast being served. I think its best if you eat breakfast outside as their breakfast did not look appealing.

There was no table in the room. There was a small table kinda thing attached to the wall but it had cracks and we could not keep anything on it as we were scared that it could break and fall. The tv did not work but it didnt bother us as we were too busy going out. Room is best for sleeping as aircon and beds were good. Bathroom has a bathtub too. And yes, the lifts are very old style and small. You have to open 2 doors manually for the lift and it cant take too much weight either. It’s a residential building and Mascherino Suites is on 3rd floor. But overall, we had a pleasant stay.

Very modern setup. Getting in was still using key access, but getting into your room used a card. Air conditioning was great as the weather became warmer. The room was bright and white and very comfortable. Amazingly close to the Vatican and the street noise was low. I had the opportunity to see some rooms in a nearby place and they were a bit stuffy, especially without air conditioning. My friends were a little jealous and I got a great deal staying there. My stay did not include their breakfast, but you really don't need it as there are so many places nearby. I would most definitely stay here again. Staff was friendly and this place even provided an iron for me.

I'm sure there might be things I could point out. But this was a great place for a good price. The elevator took some getting used to, but that was no problem.

Excellent location and close to some great restaurants and the Vatican. 7min walk to the nearest train station to visit east side of Rome which includes the colosseum, Spanish steps, fountain, etc (40min walk). check in and check out was smooth with responsive staff in-person and through booking.com messages. Clean, spacious, and beautiful property!

The shower needs to be renovated! The glass protecting water from splashing barely covers anything resulting in water on the floor. The shower head needs to be also extended because it is far too close to the wall.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property has a lot of character and the room was spacious with a very comfy bed. Although a period property, the rooms were modern and well appointed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was particularly good, with a range of options. The location was also excellent for the Vatican area - although a bit of a walk from the centre of the city.

The cost was high - although this seems to be the case generally in Rome.

The hotel itself was. A great location and the rooms was clean and had all amenities...the staff there made sure all our needs were met and we're courteous and efficient

When initially getting to location...noone called /greeted us or even had any contact with anyone..about where to knock/call ..and was confused where to go...and the front door was ambiguous..and blended in with rest of building...not good for us traveling overseas from US..on first trip to Rome

Location walking distance to Vatican with plenty shops in the vicinity and staffs were helpful.

Room only has a white thin curtain. Suggest to have a 2nd thicker curtain - for more privacy at night as building across can see the inside of the room.

Location, just a few minutes walk to St Peter's square, passing by McDonald's where you could find Vatican priests and nuns getting breakfast and walking along you... also super easy to take late night or early morning photos without anyone else blockingtheview... . priceless.

Very nice room. Very central , well located particularly for visits to the Vatican. Ottaviano metro station a few minutes walk. A bit overpriced, but expected given the particular period. Will be back
