The property is in the perfect location, 5 minutes from the main train station, 20 minutes walk from the colosseum. Out of the way of the thousands of people in the crowds, but close enough that everything is in walking distance. The hotel is quiet, despite having bars and restaurants near by. Multiple restaurants within 5 minutes walk, of which the staff are lovely (of those we visited). The rooms are clean and spacious, have brilliant AC, beds are comfy, shower was massive! The staff make this hotel, Gabriel and Omar went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Complimentary water on arrival, two glasses of Prosecco on arrival, free breakfast the next morning! We cannot fault their hospitality, I cannot thank them enough! And we can communicate with the concierge via WhatsApp which is very handy! The roof terrace is beautiful, at night you can see the Vatican lit up, it’s very pretty. Would 100% recommend this hotel to everyone!!

Our stay at the Sophie Terrace Hotel was absolutely fantastic! My sister and I wanted to spend one last day in Rome before flying home, and booking here was the perfect choice. The location is ideal—just a short walk from Roma Termini station. We arrived a bit earlier than expected, but the staff was so accommodating and let us store our bags until our room was ready. Gabriel checked us in and welcomed us with an espresso, which was such a nice touch! He also gave us great restaurant recommendations that we used for both lunch and dinner. The rooftop was a highlight—fabulous views of Rome where we enjoyed some wine. The next morning, we checked out and were given a lovely box of assorted breakfast pastries, which made the perfect travel snack on our way to the airport. Overall, our stay was wonderful and we highly recommend Sophie Terrace Hotel to anyone visiting Rome!

We had one free breakfast and the breads were really good. Location is just perfect as it's 200 meters away from the train station. The view from the terrace is superb, we bought food from Mercato Centrale at the train station and stay at the terrace and chill. Gabriel and Flo are of great help, very accommodating, pleasant and hospitable. They would even go an extra mile to give an excellent service. Would definitely recommend.

We were disappointed that the rooftop terrace wasn’t much of anything whereas in the pictures it looks like you can order food and drinks up there, etc. there are drinks on the main floor that you can bring up there, but it was very different than the pictures.

Not very soundproof unfortunately. We could clearly hear the guests in adjacent rooms but thankfully they were not too noisy

Thank you for the hospitality. I stayed at the hotel for just one day and didn't want to leave. The staff was friendly and supportive throughout. Pleasant surprises included a welcome drink and a sweet breakfast box.

One thing I didn't like: there was a slight smell of tobacco in the bathroom, and I couldn't figure out where it was coming from.

,The location is great, 5 minutes walking to the station,which is great when you have to catch up an early train. The staff was amazing, Omar was genuinely friendly and helpful. The hotel seems like it's been renewed recently, our room was big enough for a couple, and was extremely clean. We arrived a bit early and Omar went personally to check if the room was ready and asked it to be prioritised before our arrival. We didn't need the room right away, but it was awesome to see the flexibility and the helpfulness. Price wise, it's also great, we spent less than 90 euros for a night.

This is very personal, but the only reason I didn't give a 10 was for the bed. To us it was way too hard, but for the rest, this hotel was a nice surprise.

The rooms are generously sized, especially considering the location in Rome, and the pricing is quite reasonable. The rooftop terrace is another highlight, providing a stunning setting to enjoy a meal or a drink while watching the sunset. It is an absolutely wonderful experience. Upon my return to Rome, I will certainly prioritize checking the availability of rooms at this hotel. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to Termini station makes it incredibly convenient for travellers arriving by train.

The location of the Hotel was excellent for everything. Close to the train station ( 5 min walk ) and were able to walk to most touristy places within 15/30 mins walk. The hotel room ( boutique style ) was very clean and as we we there for only 4 nights the linen and towels were changed so that was nice. There is a small bar on the ground floor but if you WhatsApp them they will send up drinks to the roof terrace ( great panoramic views). They also allow you to take your own wine etc to the rooftop and will supply you with wine glasses and bottle opener if required which is brilliant. First morning they supplied complimentary breakfast box. Hotel staff Flo and Gabriel were brilliant as was the night porter.

Nothing really………Our room had no view whatsoever but that didn’t bother us as you only sleep there……..but it will for some people……No dining or breakfast (apart from breakfast box on first morning) but it’s all on the doorstep. All in all the property was great.
