Great location, sparkling clean, helpful staff

There are about 8 steps up to the elevator so be aware if steps are an issue. Doors are a little tricky to open. I loved the beds, some in our group said they were too soft.

Our modern rooms were kept very clean, and our towels were changed every day. The beds were comfortable, toilet was good, and the shower was strong and hot. We could also help ourselves to as much bottled water as we needed, and bananas/bread/coffee daily. Staff were really friendly and helpful. It was also well located, within walking distance to Trevi and Pantheon, and easy access to a bus stop. There's also an ancient (but cool) lift in the building to help with the moving of luggage.

We could hear people pottering about in the kitchen from our room, and people walking up and down the stairs (as our room is directly accessible from the stairs; but note not all rooms are like this). Note that not every room has a view of the Pantheon either ya (as advertised in the best photos haha).

This place was recommended by someone on trip advisor because of its central location. We found the same. It is not fancy, it is like walking back in time with the old fashioned elevator but we loved it. The view out the window was great and the restaurants were very nearby and the food was exceptional. The police sirens do go all night, probably all over Rome, so bring ear plugs and a sound machine. There are no channels on the TV in English but who cares, I did not come to Rome to watch TV. We stayed 4 days and would recommend it to everyone. We found the staff very friendly as well as all the people in Italy.

Very nice, cute and friendly staff. They are always ready to help you with any questions. Very safety building. Amazing view and location. This apartment is in the center of all main sightseeing areas. There is also a taxi stop right next to this place. What is really comfortable when you check out. Very good breakfast. The kitchen is small, only for two people, but there are only 3-4 apartments on the floor, so it's not a problem. There are a lot of options what to eat or take with you. It's especially nice to have a chance to take still and sparkling water from the fridge when you want. For Rome, this is the perfect option to stay!

It would be easier to have an option to see all rooms with the photos when you book. You can hear your neighbors, especially in the bathroom.

Fantastic location and view of the Sacred Temples and surrounding buildings. When you’re inside you still feel part of the action as you have a clear view of the street. For an apartment it was rare to be able to get fresh air so that’s a bonus. Nice breakfast and comfy big soft bed. Close to everything you want to see and do. Ensuite was small but the shower was lovely. Staff are really helpful.

Nothing. Has all you need. No streaming on the tv. You can hear the street noise but didn’t affect our sleep! Once the shutters are closed the room is dark.

Superior Relais has an excellent location, in the heart of the oldtown, next to the beautiful larc Argentina. The whole place was extremely clean, the room was simple but spacious and comfortable. The staff is extremely gentle and caring. The kitchen is small, but it has basic ingredients to prepare a breakfast such as tost bread, cheese, ham, cereals, fruits, cake, juice, mineral water, coffee, tea etc. What I liked very much is that the kitchen is accessible at any time (I am an evening tea drinker). I am very happy we chose Superior Relais because we could get everywhere by foot and come back to a cozy place.

You need to be prepared for a soft materace. For me it was comfortable but I know that not everyone is an enthusiast of soft beds.

The owner was very nice and helpful. The room was small but clean. They did an excellent job cleaning the room during the stay. The bed was very comfortable. There is an easy landmark (large, green, neon “encyclopedia italiano” sing on the building across th street).

Finding the correct building entrance was difficult. The building is shared by other hostels. The entrance is in an alley and not visible from the road. If you can see the convenience store from the street (the large “encyclopedia Italiano” sign is behind you) walk past the convenience store toward the alley and the small sign for the businesses will be on the wall to the left. If you are in the alley where the motorcycles are parked, walk past numbers 6,5,4 and the entrance will be in the alley on your right. Look for the small sign on the wall. One you find the building it is easy. Press number 4 for entry and take the lift to 4.

Location is perfect. We could walk to everywhere : Colloseum, Vatican a city, Trastevere, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Aventine Hill….also very easy to get to Fiumicino airport. We took bus 8 direct to Roma Trastevere Train Station. Bus stop is about 6 mins walk from hotel. Then from train station direct train to Fiumicino in 27 minutes!

If you are like me and my friend who prefer hard bed, you would not like the bed here. It’s very super soft. Mine was even sinking in the middle. If you like soft bed then you would be happy.
