We were upgraded to the monstrous Executive room, although that came with some downsides, namely noise from the adjacent alley, and the family of young children or wild antelope living above that room. Reception staff were very helpful, the property is pretty, breakfasts were fine and the location is excellent. Overall value was very good. We were able to walk north to Navona, northwest beyond towards the Vatican, southwest to Trastevere, east towards the monument to Vittorio Emanuele II, northeast towards the Spanish Steps, and on it goes. Great walking location.

Noise. Our room was noisy. I keep being surprised by this in Rome: many hotels are not the sole tenant of their building, and this was the case here. After complaining about very frequent and loud running and jumping above us, we learned that it is not the hotel but a family that resides above our room. But these kids or their parents were loud at 2pm, loud at midnight. I would have preferred the room we had actually booked as the upgrade to the cavernous Executive was overkill and meant we were somewhat separated from the rest of the hotel. I appreciated that staff made this gesture, though, so kudos there.

Staff was very helpful. Room was nice and modern. Bed comfortable. Nice shower and bathroom. Nice little balcony.

Since we were in a “scattered” hotel we were not in the main bldg. our room looked out onto a fairly noisy street, but earplugs sufficed along with pretty good sound insulation on windows/doors to balcony. While the bed was good the pillows are the foam slab type and need to be upgraded. Overall I would go there again!

The location is superb and our room in the main building was actually quiet and faces the courtyard. The elevator helps after all the walking. The room was larger than what we thought it would be, especially the bathroom. The room has a water kettle and iron, which were great for us.

The bed was soft for our liking -- we like it firm. The room is spacious but the layout is a little awkward to fully open 2 medium-sized luggage. We had to reshuffle the chair and luggage rack. The towel warmer and vanity mirror are also above the bidet bowl, which can be dicey if something falls.

Argentina Residency was a quiet haven in a central location in the historic center of Roma. We easily walked everywhere. The staff were all excellent—Extremely helpful, kind and friendly. Service was fast and reliable, too. Each room was unique. Mine had a jacuzzi bath tub with bath salts provided and an extremely high ceiling with exposed wooden beams and remnants of old frescos. It was charming. A friend’s room had old brick arches in the walls. Everything very clean with nice amenities. Although on a very busy street the hotel was set back from the street so even my friend’s room facing the street was quiet. Mine facing one of the inner courtyards was extremely quiet which was much appreciated. Breakfast was good, too. I would stay there again.

I had never stayed in exactly this part of Rome before. It is great as a base to see the city. Lots of restaurants and shops for basic needs are close by. It is right near a busy taxi stand and a bus stop. We used both and were pleased for this surprising convenience. It is also located for walking to many of our destinations. The hotel is in interestingly renovated buildings, and our room had what I imagine was its own uniqueness, but nevertheless was comfortable.

The location was excellent, the room was very comfortable, well lit and had good amenities. The breakfast was very good but expensive (18 Euro per person). The room was in a separate building so getting to breakfast was a little cumbersome.

We stayed in a separate building and had to climb 16 steps to get to the elevator. The elevator door on the 4 floor doesn't have a spring or another device that closes the door automatically and when a guest leaves it open the elevator is stuck on the 4th floor. We had to climb all the steps to the 4th floor twice during our week at the hotel because the door was left open.

Fantastic location, central to and within walking distance of all the sites, plenty of restaurants too. Room was spotless, comfortable bed and amazing, powerful, hot shower. Modern rooms within a very old, pretty building. Breakfast was fabulous - great choice, with some cooked options too. We appreciated the coffee machine in the room. In the centre of Rome, there will always be some street noise, but being set slightly back from the road (our room faced into the courtyard), I was expecting it to be noisier. The staff were wonderful - cheerful, helpful and more than accommodating. The hotel isn't the most obvious to find, as there is no sign from the road - the sign is only visible once you are within the courtyard - right next to the pasta e vino restaurant, but the staff were watching out for us, as the kind man saw us with our suitcases and called out to us, explaining how to access the hotel on the 1st floor. He then helped us with our luggage and showed us to our room personally. On leaving, it was really helpful to be able to leave our luggage for 4 hours too, as our flight was not until late afternoon, so we were able to enjoy our last morning. I would have no hesitation in booking the hotel again.

Nothing the hotel can do about it, as it is an old building, but there were some soundproofing issues, being able to hear the room next door and above us. Fortunately they managed to get their baby to sleep!!

I recently spent four nights at the Argentina Style Hotel, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. This made exploring the city's rich history and culture incredibly convenient. The staff at Argentina Style Hotel were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. From the moment I checked in, they went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Their recommendations for local dining and sightseeing were spot on, adding a personal touch that made my trip even more memorable. My room was a blend of modern comfort and historic charm. The décor was tasteful, with subtle nods to the building's monastic past. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided. Housekeeping did an excellent job of keeping the room spotless throughout my stay. Breakfast each morning was a delight. The spread included a variety of fresh, delicious options that catered to different tastes, and enjoying my meal in the quaint breakfast area was a great way to start the day. One of the highlights of my stay was the serene atmosphere within the hotel, a welcome contrast to the bustling city outside. Despite its central location, the hotel provided a peaceful retreat after a day of sightseeing. In summary, my stay at the Argentina Style Hotel was outstanding. The combination of its prime location, friendly staff, comfortable accommodations, and unique historic charm made for an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome.

Location is phenomenal. Loved the separate building, it felt like going to our own little Rome apartment. The rooms are comfortable, linens are good and the modern design with a touch of historic pieces (the ceiling) were great.

Since I stayed in another room a few weeks prior, I knew the difference betwee the showers, and the shower in my second room wasn't nearly as nice in terms of water pressure and it had an odd smell.

As perfect as it can get. Argentina Style offered exceptional boutique experience and it stemmed from the competent, efficient and helpful staff. The front reception provided smooth check-in and check-out experience with the offer to store our bags during the day. The welcome drink gesture was absolutely appreciated after a long flight. Situating in the 16th century building near/on top of Curia di Pompeo is simply amazing. Breakfast selection was very nice; essential cornetti, eggs, meat, cheese, fruits & veggies,, yogurt and juice, Quiet dining space without too much ambient music. Cafe (espresso) and Capuccino were good. Room management staff were courteous and very competent. They even fixed a problem in the washroom before noting it to the front reception. Beds were comfortable and sheets were outstanding. Colder than usual nights challenged us but the centrally managed heating worked perfectly. Hot shower exceeded my expectations. Washroom was clean. Oh, attention to amenities were appreciated. A small but fully functional elevator from the ground floor (Floor 0) is really appreciated. The front reception manager also offered to call a taxi for the next part of the journey which we appreciated. Thank you. (Still organizing photos)
