Superb location facing a archeological dig and within walking distance of the main Rome attractions. On the third floor but there's a small elevator. The view from our rooms was spectacular. Good sized rooms and bathrooms. The rooms have a table and chairs and it's best to eat the included breakfast there because the kitchen is rather small. Ursula and Davide are often around to help with any questions and arrange transportation if required.

Not much to not like, really. The trams that turn the corner of the street can be noisy but the high quality fenestration helps cut down a lot on the noise.

Everything is simply amazing. On the day of our arrival, Ursula kindly agreed to give us a room much earlier without any problems. She met us with a stunning smile. She is a charming and very kind host. She explained everything and provided many useful tips. The room is very large, beautiful, and comfortable. The bed is excellent. The view is beautiful. Everything you need for a vacation in Rome is available. The food is wonderful. But most importantly, she is an incredibly attentive host who is always ready to help. On one of the days during our stay in Rome, is was our daufhter's birthday. Ursula came with a cake, flowers and gifts. Its was very pleasant.

The standout was the hospitality provided by Ursual and her son Davide. From the moment you arrive, they make you fee rightl at home. Ursula is so sweet and very warm, and loves a hug or two. The rooms are very spacious snd beautifully appointed. We had a gorgeous room that overlooked the Argentine ruins. Breakfast was amazing and quality was excellent. There is alcohol you can purchase (kept in the fridge) that are reasonably priced. A quick mention that there is a pizza shop right next to the property that serves the best and cheapest pizza by far. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from. Top location, you can walk to all the main attractions including the colloseum. Vatican city is a bit further...at least 40 minutes.

Due to its location, be prepared for noise especially on a Saturday night (sirens and people) Windows are soundproof which helps.

The rooms were lovely, the premium rooms have an excellent view over Largo Argentina and as such are central to the sights of Rome with all major sights being no more than a kilometre or two away. The breakfast facilities were excellent, essentially a do it yourself cold breakfast from a decent array of options with tea and coffee facilities being available as well.

Nothing, the stay was excellent and really better than most hotels. There wasn't a formal reception / concierge as such but at any time I could contact via whatsapp and get an answer to any question within seconds.

What an incredible stay, it’s hard to know where to start! The location can’t be beat, easy walk to all sites and beautiful view of Torre de Argentina. The room is pristinely clean and beds/pillows very comfortable. Delicious breakfast and loved having coffee, tea and snacks available all day. Urzsula even made us special Italian coffee each morning. Urzsula and her two sons were the best part, they made our stay very special with their genuine heart warming kindness. When we arrived they provided recommendations on what to do, where to eat and showed us on the map how to get to each site easily. Urzsula even gave a gift to our son and gave us our favourite coffee when we left. We hope to be back again and stay at this incredible guesthouse.

Nothing it was perfect

Location is perfect for exploring the city center. Breakfast is ordinary, but we have found everything we need. The room size, cleanliness were ok. The hosts - Signora Ursula and her Son were exceptionally attentive and gentle. Especially we were appreciated Signora Ursula, who kindly allowed us to stay for some extra time after check out. Bonus - good restaurant (even few of them) for a dinner or lunch downstairs just at the neighborhood. We would come back again to this place without any doubts. Grazie mille, Signora Ursula, per la Sua ospitalita!

For an exceptional comfort I would prefer softer bed mattresses. Despite the fact that the windows are of good quality in the rooms facing the street the noise from outside can be a bit annoying.

We had the most wonderful stay here. Ursula and her son made us feel so welcome and shared helpful advice. They were so kind in their response when we managed to smash three mugs one day. We enjoyed the breakfast and the freedom to help ourselves when we wanted to. Our room was perfect and the view was stunning. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted and felt in the heart of Rome. We would highly recommend to anyone considering this property and we hope will return one day.

Everything was perfect!

Through luck rather than judgment we chose Residenza Gens Julia for our 4 days in Rome - it was easy to find and in a fantastic location for site seeing. Not too busy, but plenty of restaurants nearby, and easy access to the tram and bus network. The room was huge, a great view and lovely bathroom. We were really pleased with our stay, the breakfast (fruit, cereal, pastries) were a nice touch, and the kitchen facilities were really handy. Our host was fab, and gave us lots of local recommendations and tips.

Nothing!

We had a beautifully decorated room that was very spacious. The ensuite bathroom was large and modern. The facility was quiet and we had privacy. The living room and kitchen areas were convenient. Every morning a freshly baked coffee cake and other pastries as well as fresh fruit were available. In addition a refrigerator full of juice, water, etc was offered. Coffee and tea were also available. An excellent value and great location. Plus the best pizza shop was next door.

We liked it all.

Right from pickup at the airport to the time we checked out everything was perfect. The property is in a fantastic location everything you could ask for is right at your fingertips. Food, shopping and sights. There’s a great little sandwich shop downstairs which is awesome when you just want something light. There is a taxi rank on the opposite side of the square if you need to go anywhere else. The view from the room is amazing. Urszula is the most beautiful host she makes you feel right at home and nothing is too much trouble Breakfast options are plenty everything you need is right there. The rooms are authentic the building itself fantastic and the lifts are just hilarious especially if you have large luggage, it all adds to the experience.

Absolutely nothing it was great
