We booked the King Suite which was an excellent choice. As soon as you enter you are pleasantly surprised by the high ceilings and room design, however as soon as you open the balcony doors you are amazed by the superb views of San Pellegrino. You have in front the river and the impressive Grand Hotel, surrounded by the mountains on all sides. We enjoyed greatly sitting on the terrace with a glass of prosecco (glassed are provided in the room, which I appreciated). You can also find bathrobes and slippers, which were a great addition! The place was very clean and we enjoyed the breakfast as well. I will definitely book again next time in San Pellegrino.

Everything was great! My recommendation would be to not change the sheets daily, as I do not find that environmently friendly. Maybe ask the guests ahead if this is their choice? For the breakfast, would be great to have some vegetables as well.

Great location right in the heart of the town (anyway it's a small town everything is nearby), very nice, bright, renovated lobby connected to the famous cafe which seems to be the place to be in San Pellegrino. Friendly staff, their famous Bigio biscuits offered and a discount voucher was provided for the thermal bath entrance.

Room and corridor unfortunately were pretty old, but clean and well maintained, but it is such a contrast to the nice modern lobby it felt almost like a disappointment when walking to your room. Breakfast is just sufficient, mostly sweet bread rolls and cold cuts, but understandable considering the Italian breakfast tradition.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, perfectly located near the QC Terme Spa. The breakfast was delicious, featuring fresh pastries from Bakery Bigio that were a real treat. The staff, both at the reception and in the restaurant, were exceptionally friendly and made us feel very welcome. Our room was very clean, though the furniture and design were a bit dated, it didn’t take away from the comfort. Plus, the beautiful view from the room was an added bonus. A truly enjoyable experience overall!

Beautiful hotel. Right in the heart of this beautiful town. The aroma is stunning because of their bakery. A very beautiful cafe, always busy with the locals. Very pleasant staff, greeting you with a smile. The bedrooms are large and warm. I go to the spa a couple of times in the year and this is my go to hotel. Bus stop outside the door. They have a very fine restaurant, we used it for my husband’s special birthday. Plenty of restaurants in the town that are very good and less formal.

Having to leave

We really liked the location, the convenience of having the breakfast straight from the bakery and the dinner at their restaurant. The location, just 3 min from QC terme was perfect and they have a parking spot for your car. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. Great value for money. I recommend to stay here to those who are going to the Terme or simply stopping here on the way to the mountains.

The only thing we didn't like was "the room upgrade". We were asked if we wanted to upgrade for 12 euro to a renovated room that unfortunately was renovated as you do with a flat you want to rent out to students. Electric green for the wall didn't seem a reasonable choice for a splendid location like the Hotel Bigio. Also there was clearly a leak through the bathroom ceiling and the wall - despite being painted recently - had many scratches.

A very nice hotel in a good location - close to the QC Terme. Kind and helpful staff. Excellently clean room and perfectly ironed bed linen. Good breakfast, there is a also patisserie where various delicacies are offered and a restaurant (open in the evening too), i received the menus even before arriving at the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone, especially to those who understand and appreciate tradition, good design and the spirit of the place!

My room was on the street side, traffic noise might be a problem for some people, but it didn't bother me

Location is beautiful, and 5 mins walk from QC Therm Spa. Hotel gives you 10% off voucher for the spa entrance fee on request. Staff all very friendly and helpful, stayed in one of the older rooms, , but still lovely. . Views are great too. Bus to bergamo close by, snd lovely forest walks close by. Woke up to the smell of the bakery, which is in the basement, and provides beautiful cakes, pastries and famous biscuits to the bright modern cafe.

Amazing hotel! Best hotel breakfast we have EVER eaten. The hotel is super close to QC Terme and also close to everything downtown San Pellegrino. Inside the hotel is also a bakery and we loved all the pastries. Our view from our balcony was amazing and the hotel even rented e-bikes for us to explore the area. 10/10 would stay here again and recommended it to everyone!

It was an amazing stay. The location is excellent, straight in the center. 5 minutes away from QC Therme. You also get a discount for entrance to Therme. The breakfast was really good, you get to try desserts from the Hotel’s bakery (that is located in the same building). The room was basic, but had everything you need. The staff was amazing. We were traveling with our dog, and there were no troubles. Would repeat it again.

We paid an upgrade for the refurbished rooms and it was worth it. Clean, cosy, very warm for November and perfect for the QC terme getaway. Breakfast was included and had their freshly baked delicious goods but was rather sparse in choice. The bus stop to Bergamo is just in front of the of the hotel and if you are not travelling by car, it is very handy.
