Location is good, the place is clean, next to the ocean. Good breakfast, room is comfortable and spacious. The hotel was clean and prices of the bar for drinks and food is also fair, removing the need to go out to buy.

The organization of the beach chairs and the map is quite complicated for vacations, especially if a group of friends have 3-4 rooms and want to sit next to each other. The rooms does not have enough hangers for you to dry your swimsuits. Renting the beach towel, when the price of the room includes already the beach chairs, should be included (in my opinion) having to pay extra 2.5 per towel seems unnecessary, could be included in the room already.

Perfect stay for our traveling family of 9 when visiting Rome when wanting to stay on the coast. The hotel is right on the beach with private access to the (rocky) beach and umbrellas/chairs included. There is a snack/bar area inside with drinks and snacks and sandwiches for purchase. The breakfast on the deck was wonderful. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and courteous. The town of Santa Marinella relaxed and charming. Would recommend for a great value stay.

This is not the hotels fault - the main “center” of Santa Marinella and the train station to travel to Rome is a 20-30 minute walk from the hotel which is fine for able bodied people but was too long for my 78 year old father. The hotel was wonderful with arranging rides for my father to the train station in the morning or afternoon, but trying to catch the bus into town for dinner was inconsistent and there are virtually no taxis in the area.

Our stay at Hotel Del Sole was spectacular! We requested a seaside room with twin beds for my brother and myself and they truly delivered. The views are spectacular, the private beach great and all of the staff very friendly/accommodating. The breakfast provided in the seaside covered area was one of the best we experienced throughout all of our European Travels and the view breath taking. We enjoyed meats, cheeses, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages, sweets, coffee, cereal,etc. The hotel service is 24/7 and even when we had to leave prior to breakfast to catch our next train, the attendant made us coffee and brought a few sweets for the trip. Service at this hotel was great! I simply wish we could have spent more nights. We will definitely be returning to Hotel Del Sole next time we are in the area!

Access via train was a little challenging. Quite a long walk to the nearest train station (ride services and taxis were > 15 Euro) Most Restaurants were also >1.4 Miles. This will not stop us from returning though.

You go down the stairs from your room straight to the private beach of the hotel. This is amazing.

Stuff is super friendly, but barely understands English. 20 min walk to the station, not long, but with heavy luggage under the sun is hard. Ordering a taxi almost impossible, the town is small and the infrastructure is bad developed. Also if you want peace- it’s perfect, if you want to party- too small and boring. Excellent for a comfortable family/couple/individual trip, if you want to chill and swim. Also the big-big plus- the cost of living there. It’s not a touristic place, so prices are super low.

We had a room with a corner balcony . The bathroom was remodeled with a big shower. The hotel is in a rural Italian speaking community. Our receptionist spoke perfect English. There were sandwiches available to buy for lunch and. Typical Italian breakfast buffet was on the ocean side and beautifully done. Towels, loungers and umbrellas available on private beach

We really enjoyed it! Special thanks to the manager Enzo so polite and pleasant person, we have never seen such a person in the hotel industry, as if he was an old friend with whom we have known for many years. Beautiful view from the room, delicious breakfast with sea view, first line! Friendly and polite staff, room cleaning daily and quality. Own beach with comfortable sun beds and umbrellas, in the room there is a safe and mini-kitchen. You can feel the local flavor, a lot of Italians come here to relax and it's cool.

There was bad Wi-Fi in the room but it wasn't a problem for us.

Our room on the 4th floor was comfortable, clean and with a large terrace with a beautiful view of the sea. The hotel has direct access to the beach(note that it is not sand but pebbles) with their own private entrance was very comfortable indeed. The hotel staff were exceptional. Friendly and very accommodating.

Staff were amazing. There was one member of staff in the breakfast area - we did not get her name. She was a young Italian girl with a bandana. She was the most efficient, hard working person we have come across. Extremely polite and she was a true representation of what the hotel was about… warm and welcoming. Thank you

The room was big and very nice. We enjoyed the balcony. The bathroom and shower were nice and lots of room. The staff were all very nice and helpful. The small cafe and the man who ran it were excellent. The rock beach was nice but hard to get over the rocks into the water. Water was beautiful.

Such a warm welcome from the very glamorous and friendly receptionist. We got there earlier than 3pm but she sorted for us to be checked in. We loved the breakfast overlooking the sea and our balcony, and the lovely and helpful lifeguard . The hotel is right in the beach.
