This is a family run business in a quiet area near the sea. A bit oldie worldie, but everything was fine. Breakfast was adequate, obviously suiting local tastes more than international. We opted for the inhouse dinner on the one night we stayed there. Either a two choice set menu or a la carte. We chose the set menu and it was very good. Room was very quiet and adequate for a one night stay. We also opted for the hotel pick-up at Rome Airport for the one hour journey to the hotel. We found Carlo, the driver, straight away and he drove expertly to Civitavaecchia. The hotel also provides a shuttle service to the Port, which Marcello managed on an extremely busy day at the Port. Several ships were in at the same time, which made the local roads very congested and slow. Thank you to one and all for a great prelude to our cruise.

Nothing to really disappoint, bearing in mind that it is a long established family business, who are clearly having to operate in an intense environment with pressure on costs.

The restaurant was awesome. Breakfast also great. Loved the ocean view from our bedroom. Staff were exceptionally obliging, picking us up from the boat and dropping us off at the airport. Great place to stay when flying out the next day. Saved lot of money by not travelling back into Rome and out again. We were dropped into the city which was fabulous shopping and dining then very easy to catch bus directly back to hotel. Great place to stay. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality.

We asked for twin beds but they were a little narrow. However they were comfortable and all good. Water in the shower sprayed outside the cubicle but not really a problem. Nothing to complain about really.

- The place was quiet and felt secure. - The parking place I give a big plus. For just 5 euro, you get a closed secure place for the car and the items. Really good. - The room we got in the mainhouse was very ok. Like the photos. (Maybe some small updates might be ok.. but it was anyhow a good standard due to the price! ) - We slept well in good beds - Bathroom well equipped. - Silent area. - Dogs welcomed for a small amount of euro. Thank you very much! I could go out in the yard with my baby dog at night! <3 thank you! - We needed refrigerator at the room because of our dog special food. Thank you. - The breakfast was ok. All what we needed ..compared with the room price. If we wanted something more.. it might have been more dark fresh bread and small metallic spoons for the cooked eggs. We do not eat a lot of sugar and chokolade in the mornings. We are.. Nordic.. You.. who have some content to art! Look at the beautiful relief, of metall all around the place... the artist is the owner!! An artist of class! A master of that difficult art. REALLY! Thank you for all what we got for a reasonable price.

The owner/concierge Alessandro was fantastic. Spoke English and went out of his way to help. He reserved a van to take us to the port for a nominal fee and also made a reservation to take us after cruise to Rome and even made a restaurant reservation in Rome. He went above and beyond to help me. We also enjoyed a beautiful Italian dinner in the restaurant in the hotel and also a very nice breakfast was included. A great value and a family business.

Basic rooms - not fancy but were clean and certainly adequate

Friendly staff, very comfortable bed and everything we needed for a one night stay. It was important for us to have onsite parking and that dogs be accepted so we were happy from this point of view. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was very tasty and cooked well.

The room is not sound proof so you can hear everything but once the restaurant closed at 10pm it was quiet. We didn't have the "sea view" confirmed in the booking....we were on the ground floor and had a wall but for one night that's okay

Check-in was great. Pietro (Peter) was my host; he was very kind, considerate, and helpful. Dinner was delicious! I shared a table with guests and made friends. The waitress was working the inside and outside tables all by herself, She did an excellent job accommodating everyone.

As far as I was concerned, Nothing could have been done better. The breakfast was set up early and, again, was delicious. The options were hot or cold continental breakfast.

The hosts were very helpful and warm. Beautiful property, homey, inn-like feeling. Good food. Hosts shuttled us to the train station.

It was nearly impossible to find transportation from the dock/downtown. After waiting a long time for a bus that never came, and taxis that wouldn't come, we walked to the hotel. Our host later told us that we could have called them for a ride (for a small fee.) It would be great if this ride offer could be included on their page so future guests know about it.

This place is a great value and perfect if you are doing a cruise. It is family owned & operated, staff are very helpful, included breakfast is great, they have a shuttle to the cruise port, and rooms are clean and nice (maybe a bit dated). The only downside was that the restaurant was not open for dinner. I would go back again and recommend to others who need to be near the port.

Very nice hotel, staff were very friendly. The room was clean but small but that was expected in Italy as this was the same on previous trips in Italy. Alessandro was amazing arranging our ride to the airport as well as a limo service to Rome when we complete our cruise. It was also very nice to have a restaurant at the hotel. The menu was very good for dinner. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

At first we found out there was not much for sightseeing in the area of the hotel but on our ride to the cruise ship (15 minutes away) there is a very nice tourist area of the city which I wish we had known about earlier.

The location is about a mile from the train station. Only hiccup was trying to book an uber or taxi to get to the hotel. Alessandro from the hotel came and got us, which we were very appreciative and grateful for after waiting for 2 hours trying to secure transportation. The hotel had a fantastic onsite restaurant that served delicious dinners and the breakfasts included were wonderful and the staff made us great cappuccinos at no additional cost. Very peaceful and quiet with a nice view of the sea. Accommodations were comfy and cozy.
