Actually what we didn’t like about the city, Civitavecchia: the map of the city doesn’t match the actual city. AND there are few street signs to let you know if you are in the correct street. We went on foot from the train station and had to ask 4 different people to find our way. Even the locals don’t know the names of the streets. Best to get a taxi to this B&B. It’s worth it! Also, if you take a taxi to the cruise port, make sure the taxi driver knows to drop you off at the cruise line check-in and NOT at the ship. Cunard had the check-in point a 10-minute walk away from the ship.

Upon arrival after a long day of travel, I arrived at Belle Soleil. I wasn’t too enthusiastic in the beginning. But I soon felt very comfortable. It’s a simple accommodation with brand new bathrooms and it’s very clean and a great place to stay. The south were most helpful. It’s a very European breakfast, which is fine by me. I would highly recommend staying here.

The room and bathroom and the staff it’s not a great location for dining. In fact, there’s very little available in the immediate area.

Great location - easy walk to shopping, restaurants, etc. Staff was friendly and helpful in spite of some language challenges. Great value for the money. We were pleasantly surprised with transportation to the cruise port arranged by the hotel. It couldn't have been easier or more reasonably priced.

It didn't really bother us but others should know that there is no elevator/lift so you may have to carry your luggage and purchases upstairs. The location was a little difficult to find the first time but excellent once we got our bearings.

Breakfast the first morning was just what we expected. On morning two the breakfast selection was very much reduced, leaving little choice.

When it came time to arrange a taxi/transportation to the port there were very few options; walk or walk. The taxi in the area were not concerned with taking guests to the port. We were not able to arrange a taxi. The clerk on duty the night before departure attempted to make arrangements for over 16 people but could not guarantee the service. We walked with other guests pulling our luggage.

We came in late in the evening unexpectedly due to the train strike. We were a little frazzled by the time we got there, but Gianni was fabulous in answering questions during our transit. He even carried my suitcase up the stairs. He booked a taxi for us the next day and booked a table for dinner. Comfortable bed and pillow, very clean, continental breakfast in the morning.

There's no fridge in the room. We needed a fridge for medicine, but forgot to ask Gianni about refrigerating it when we checked in. We had ice with us that was still solid, so we were okay. If you need a fridge, be sure to ask.

.The accommodation was spacious and fitted to a very high standard. It was quiet and comfortable.

The location was a little away from the Station and Port and it was difficult for us to get taxis so we walked Breakfast was plentiful but mainly sweet, it would have been good to have had some savoury food as well as the cakes, pastries etc

We liked simply everything about our stay -good bed, large room, great breakfast and staff who were welcoming and tried to help us with all questions and requests. We will think about stopping at Civitevecchia on our way heading north in a week partly because we know this accommodation will be great.

Some people will not be happy with the 10-12 minute walk up from the station, but it is worth it.

The property is very clean , you enter and it feels like home, It is nicely set up and welcoming Staffs are super friendly and helpful. Over all , Bel Sole is at a central location The best place to stay in That area

Cute, safe property with very friendly staff. Walkable if you don’t mind walking minor hills with luggage. Very near restaurants and stores for good food, amazing sweets, and shopping.

Our AC didn’t work but we were given a fan, which was sufficient. The bed was worn with saggy areas.

The location was quite adequate. We were in transit to Greece and Bel Sole was a good stop over close to the port. Clean room along with very helpful and friendly staff. It was not too far from shops and a fruit market. We would visit again.

Wished they had drinking bottled water available at the facility. Otherwise pleased.
