The property was adorable. It was cozy and comfortable. The property was on the 3rd floor with windows/shutters that opened onto the city square. The location was within walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Everyone in the area was very kind and friendly. Our hosts, Daniella and her husband were the best. They recommended places to see and eat when we asked. Their hospitality was wonderful.

I cannot think of anything. Getting our luggage up the stairs inside the apartment to the 2nd floor was tough. There is an elevator in the building. That’s just because they were steep and we are old. Our hosts helped us out.

So glad we stayed here 1 night before our cruise departed Civitavecchia. Us being from the other side of the world - "New Zealand" communication was everything! And Daniela and Gianni were amazing. English speaking Daniela even arranged our private car transport from/to FCO to Civitavecchia. They met us and checked us in personally and allowed us to check in very early which was so amazing as we had just spent 24hrs on planes and needed to rest and freshen up. Daniela and Gianni were wonderful hosts. They were there to greet us after our walk over from the train station( 3 blocks or about 600 metres). Our room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. We had been travelling all day so when we asked about local restaurants they recommended one right next door which was indeed excellent. We have stayed in Civitavecchia before so we knew our way around town but we were looking for something close and good. Daniela also arranged for us to share a private taxi ride to the cruise port the next morning . We would heartily recommend this guesthouse.

What an amazing little gem in the heart of Civitavecchia! We were met by Daniela and Gianni on time for our check in who were both very lovely and spoke great English. They were very welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. The room was larger than a hotel room with a spare bed set up for our 3 year old. The location is perfect, close to the beach, close to shops, we had dinner right down stairs which was amazing and then it was a close walk to the cruise terminal on our check out morning. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

The warm welcome, charm and location. The kitchen common area was fantastic. The bedroom was on the upper level away from the kitchen/livingroom. Enjoyed the local restaurants and the convenience of grocery stores and shopping experience. It was also only a 5 min walk from the train station. Definitely returning and booking the whole unit next time ( 2 bedrooms )

The amount of stairs, just going up :) But that is common in ITALY. The elevator was tiny and Im claustrophobic.

The location of the property was excellent. Very close to the cruise port. It was a little difficult to find and the taxi driver had to call the property to be guided in. Many be consider providing a little more clear instructions on how to reach the property

The breakfast was very limited. We were SHOCKED to have the owners just let themselves in the following morning. Luckly we were all dressed but had our lady guests been in a state if semi dressed this could have gone really wrong. When we rent accommodation we do not expect the owners to simply let themselves in. Also they were clearly wanting to turn the property around as quickly as possible. Whilst we were still in the property the beds were being changed. Finally having the owner sit in the lounge area with us on her phone made it very awkward. This is a red flag for us and maybe something we could consider before booking this property again.

Great owners who explained everything on arrival and even helped with taking suitcases up the stairs. There are 2 guest rooms upstairs (both lockable) and ours faced the piazza. The owners live elsewhere so you can be independent. The section downstairs is the kitchen and breakfast area which we shared with the other guests in the 2nd room. There was everthing you could possibly need with generous amount of fresh food and electrical equipment like toaster , coffee maker, microwave etc and food such as bread, milk, ham, cheese, yoghurt, cereal, sweet biscuits and pastry, juice etc..all on a help yourself basis and then just wash your own dishes up…like you would at home. We felt very spoilt and it was obvious the owners wanted us to have the best facilities and really cared about the place and kept it in a beautiful, clean condition. In our bedroom, they provided quality products like liquid soap and shampoo. ( Not those annoying little squares of soap ) The air con worked well. The location is perhaps 10 min walk from the station and about the same to the cruise port where you catch free shuttle bus provided by the cruise companies. Very easy to walk there we felt unless you want to pay €20 for a private taxi which some people prefer. All in all a lovely stay.

We did find that the water pressure in the bathroom sink tap was very weak and only a little came out. The hot water in shower was unpredictable - either very hot or luke warm..perhaps if both rooms are having showers at the same time, then luke warm ? Apart from the water issue, everything else was fantastic.

Guesthouse was in a great location, smack in the middle of everything with plenty places to drink and eat around. We actually booked both rooms so we had the whole apartment to ourselves which was great as it's quite large and spacious and very clean and relaxing. Staff were absolutely fantastic, very very helpful, they gave us plenty advice and also plenty of breakfast! Highly recommend staying here, will stay again if in Civittavecchia.

The location was great! Shopping, walking and close to transport. Nice court with restaurants below.

The room was upper level with great view but the walk up the steps was a workout. There is a tiny elevator that fits 2 bags and 2 people. If you’re claustrophobic. It may not work for you. The electricity went out so it wasn’t an option one day. Good thing it wasn’t when we were leaving or coming or hauling the bags would have been another adventure!

Before going on a cruise from Civitavecchia, we stayed here for 3 days. A wonderful experience, Gianni is a superb host and the accommodation is perfect with a lovely breakfast included and full kitchen facilities. Scrupulously clean, beautifully presented and decorated right in the middle of the older part of the town, we had easy and convenient access to great restaurants, cafes and bars. Easy walking distance from the train station and the port terminal. Simply the best! Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
