Location….if you are arriving/departing by cruise ship,the Traghetta is perfect,being no more than 50 metres from the port gates.The train station is a ten minute bus ride away,and buses to the station leave from the same port gates peviously mentioned. Breakfast……for me,perfect ……..o lovely open,self service table of fresh fruit,pastries and cereals together with coffee exactly theway you like it served within a couple of minutes of arriving in the dining room. Staff……all staff speak good English,and are very friendly and obliging.

The most welcoming hotel we've ever been to. Pleasant and accommodating. We arrived at 7:30am after an overnight flight and within 30 minutes they had a room prepared for us. They offered us breakfast while we waited. Wonderful customer service. The location was awesome. Very close to the pier, restaurants and shops. They ordered us a taxi which wasn't easy since there aren't that many in the area and too many ships. They kept close contact with us to let us know when a taxi would arrive. I would highly recommend this hotel. Room was a bit dated and beds were okay, balcony was big however, the room was immaculate. Very fair pricing.

We arrived to international airport in Rome the day before our cruise and spent the night at Hotel Traghetto. Excellent and convenient location if you need to get to Civitavecchia Port for your cruise. Located just a couple of walking minutes from the shuttle to the ships and across street to a drop-off to rental cars.

Old rooms and furniture but very clean and comfortable. Clean bathroom too.

We particularly liked the price and the location as well as the free breakfast before leaving. In addition, the staff could not have been more helpful, especially for my wife's gluten-free diet due to her allergy to gluten. The facilities could use a bit of paint in some areas, also, the AC could extend beyond the rooms alone, but functionality and convenience are superior.

Location was great. We easily walked into the city and back. Transport buses to the port were only a few metres away. Staff very friendly and there was good communication re transport etc. They booked our transport from Rome airport to the hotel. Good restaurants in the area. Breakfast on our second day was great :)

Very small shower - glad we're not big people! Our friends' room was nearly twice the same as ours for the same price, and included a sitting area with table and chairs. Breakfast on our first day was hit and miss - eg only one yoghurt left and people were still arriving.

Great staff with a great location for the cruiser. (just a few steps to catch a shuttle to the cruise port around the corner). Easy walk to many sights seen locations, fresh markets, bars and authentic restaurants. Highly recommend the Pizza next door with pizza made to order right in front of your eyes. Hotel staff provided many unforgettable personal touches, Joseph(Josepe), Michele (Michael), the lady makes cafe latte just to name a few. We would definitely stay with them, if we are back to Civitavecchia again in the future.

Beds can be a little bit better

Giuseppe and the entire staff was beyond amazing. I can’t tell you how wonderful these People are. Truly incredible people. Warm and inviting and the barista makes a terrific cappuccino. My wife thought she lost her passport and Giuseppe came to our room personally and helped us search. He was so concerned like it was happening to him. You can’t buy that from any hotel or establishment. Not the fanciest but definitely the most welcoming. I won’t stay anywhere else When going to Civitavecchia and you shouldn’t either. .

It was great! Nothing bad to report

Situated Very close to cruise terminal shuttle buses that took you into port . Made it very easy to walk my two wheel suitcases there. Friendly welcome by reception desk staff and breakfast lady.

Air conditioning unit didn’t appear to be fully functional in my room . Would have liked a kettle for making a cup of tea or coffee within the room .

Location is ideal for cruisers...just one block from complimentary shuttle buses to the pier. Nice breakfast included. Quiet.

Be aware that rooms are quite dated. It hasn't stopped me from being a return visitor to the property. It is minor compared to the property's reliable convenience and value in the city.

We stayed here for one night before a Cruise. The beds were a little firm for me but comfortable. Rooms were large and very clean. The free breakfast was great and the coffee was fantastic. The cruise terminal pickup was across the corner street, literally minutes. The Manager and his Wife were so kind and helpful. The Restaurant/Bar on the corner served really good pizza and wine. This was an exceptional value with a perfect location for our needs and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
