It was an ideal location for getting to the cruise port

The property was perfect, I just didn’t care for two of the front desk staff. Upon checking in the first attendant was very pleasant, while the other two especially the female was not to customer friendly, just didn’t make you feel welcome and lacked enthusiasm when helping to make shuttle to port accommodations.

We booked two rooms - one for us, one for our two young adult boys. We had 314 and 315 which were located together in a separate space and that was perfect for us. We loved the morning breakfast, the front desk staff were beyond helpful and the location was perfect. Our stay was for one night prior to our cruise and I’m so glad I booked this hotel for us.

The bathrooms were a tad dated, in particular the shower and shower heads, but the rest of the bathroom was fine for us.

Hotel is in a great place Near the train station Close to the port (take the bus for 6€ to the train station walk 1/2 block to the hotel) Great view from our room awesome sunset. Room was comfortable and clean no complaints. We got off our ship early they held our luggage until afternoon we spent the day exploring and had a great time. It’s an older hotel but really not bad for a night or 2 Good location for walking around by the water and plenty of restaurants nearby. There is a lot to see in the area so instead of spending big bucks to stay in Rome if you have been there before this was a nice relaxing change of pace. I would stay again

Nothing really

This was our second time staying at this hotel, and once again, we had a pleasant experience. The location is one of the biggest highlights—just a short walk from the train station and the city center, which made it incredibly convenient. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile, which really added to the overall comfort of our stay. Our room was clean, well-maintained, and provided everything we needed for a relaxing visit. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet. While not extravagant, it was quite decent, with a good variety of options to start the day off right. Overall, this hotel offers great value for the price, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again the next time we’re in town.

The room size, location of the hotel and amenities. The hotel is situated on the sea front. It is about 200 m away from the Port entrance ( beware from the ferry terminal it is actually 1.6 km walk). Situated around the hotel are several restaurants and bar which are open late into the night. There are some shopping options too. The Railway Station is barely 200 m away from the hotel. The beach front is quite lovely and this place can be a destination by itself.

The distance from the port. Our ferry from Barcelona reached at 10 PM and we had booked this property reading the description that it was 200.m away from the port. But from the actual disembarkation point it is a 1.6 Km walk. However from the main gate of the port, it may be just 200 m away. This, however is the best option for anyone using the sea route. No other hotel exists closer.

Great location. We walked to the hotel with bags from the train station and then to the cruise terminal easily. The staff were very helpful and did everything they could to improve our stay. This included stowing bags, allowing early access when they could, giving helpful information about the town and organising our transfer to the airport. There is even a lounge area when waiting for rooms or transfers etc. The breakfast was very good and there are excellent restaurants nearby and a supermarket very close.

No real criticisms.

The hotel is right on the waterfront with lots of restaurants and nice to walk. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. We were able to get a reasonably priced shuttle to take us to the ship.

We booked the Azalea Suite which is their largest accommodation. It had a living room, bedroom and two bathrooms plus a walkout balcony overlooking the Main Street with the beach and sea behind it. It’s a great location and as it was once a palace and now converted into a hotel, it has a great deal of charm. The breakfast room was beautiful and the European breakfast offered was plentiful and very good. It was a great way to spend a few extra days before departing on a cruise.

It is in a pretty area.

Months ahead of our arrival I asked them to arrange a shuttle to the cruiseport as they had advertised. They responded that I should get in touch one month before arrival. I did that - twice and never received a reply. On check in they told us that we would have to walk back to the train station and catch a shuttle that leaves every half hour. That was very different than what they advertised. When we did arrive at the hotel they could see us struggling with our luggage to get through the revolving door. They were laughing when we finally got through and then showed us a door that opens out from the office area. We thought that was very rude.

The hotel is in an excellent location close to the station and overlooking the promenade. The welcome was good and the staff were very professional. The room was lovely with a wonderful view on two sides. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. We liked the older style "grand" feel of the hotel.

The lift is very small and slow moving. With a few quests checking in at the same time, it meant a bit of a wait to get access to the lift. However, this was our only very minor comment and it didn't affect our overall enjoyment of the hotel.
