We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel L’Isola. The staff is remarkable and did everything in their power to help us with an unfortunate issue we had. No fault of the hotel! The hotel is so peaceful, just a short train ride into the hustle and bustle of Rome. We spent 3 glorious days here. Loved the morning coffee in the hotel and the quant neighborhood restaurants. We got to know several local cats as well. Keep in mind the restaurants in Santa Marinella generally do not open for the evening meal until 7:30pm. There are limited restaurants that serve awesome lunches all within walking distance of L’Isola. The food everywhere here was fabulous!

We enjoyed a fantastic view from our room, and surprisingly, even from the bathroom! The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the TV size was just right for the room. Breakfast exceeded our expectations; we loved our freshly made cappuccinos on the charming small terrace. The selection included both savory and sweet pastries, and the service was outstanding and accommodating. Parking is available free of charge, though it can be a bit challenging to drive and find parking around the square during the summer. However, there’s ample parking if you head down to the harbor. This place is a must-visit if you're planning a stay in Santa Marinella!

The bathroom shower is a bit on the smaller side, but the view is so spectacular that I would still rate it a perfect 10

Picturesque, charming, very clean, lovely warm and friendly staff and community. Extremely helpful and concerned when our travel shuttle to our cruise ship had a bit of a hiccup. Breakfast was top notch and very delicious! Food in all the restaurants was amazing! It was an easy walk to the train station and a relaxing train ride into Rome.

Nothing! Our room had a lovely balcony with spectacular view. For me, it was everything I hoped Italy would by be. The hotel was exactly the true Italian experience I wanted. I felt very welcome. My family was very well looked after. The staff were amazing and so generous and supportive helping us sort our shuttle issues. They went above and beyond in helping us. They gave our vacation a most excellent start!

Bed was very comfortable. View of ocean from balcony was nice. Breakfast was very good with a variety of foods. Onsite parking was a big plus. Many places to eat and explore near this hotel.

In room 103, the wall mounted air conditioner’s remote control’s + - button to increase/decrease the temperature did not appear to work. Staff was summoned and one could have it blast ac for a while then we turned it off. The electric hot pot wouldn’t heat water. I took it to the front desk to show staff but they went and made me a small pot of hot water.

Small cosy family hotel with perfect location. Simple but satisfying breakfast. Very kind and helpful personal. Amazing sea view,esp from bathroom. 10min walk to the beach, 1 minute to supermarket or restaurant.

Those who have room without sea view can face problems with noice from nearby restaurants. Window nets against mosquitos would be nice to have.

We chose the hotel for its location close to Fiumicino Airport and to the sea. Our room overlooked the water and was bright, large and comfortable. It is an older building so has no elevator so pack an overnight bag if you are on the top floor and can't handle carrying bags upstairs. Breakfast was very good and the adjoining restaurant is also very good. We were lucky to find free parking right out front.

Santa Marinella is a gorgeous small town with a beautiful beach and it's worth staying at LEAST a few nights here at this amazing hotel. Don't just do a day trip from Rome, make sure you take your time to explore and this is where you should stay. Spacious rooms, cutest breakfast over looking the sea. The staff are honestly the best hotel staff I've encountered, so accommodating. I ended up staying 2 more nights than originally planned. Great for solo travellers, but also friends/couples as the rooms are so spacious with closet space and hooks to hang things too. I had the cutest balcony overlooking the piazza. The location is perfect, close to the beach, shops, bars, restaurants and other attractions. Very easy walk from the station and easy to find. I'll be coming back again cause there are other things to do that I didn't have time for and this is honestly the best place to stay in Santa Marinella.

Not being able to stay longer.

Delightful seaside location, simply but tastefully furnished. Easy to find. The Manageress was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was good, again the service was very pleasant. We were able to store our luggage after checkout until our train departure.

No lift, although a young man on the staff lifted our larger case upstairs for us.

I arrived late after a 24 hour flight from Sydney and a drive from Fiumicino airport. The reception staff were so welcoming and suggested dinner in the restaurant at the side of the hotel. I slept well and woke to nice sea views. The hotel was perfect and would highly recommend.

Wonderfully welcoming from hotel staff with extremely good quality beds and a fabulous view. Spotlessly maintained. As a bonus, their restaurant is just top notch and not to be missed.

For those travelling with heavy and/or large luggage be prepared as the hotel does not have an elevator. It is a classic Italian structure, so not to be faulted but one should be aware and pack accordingly.
