Central location where you can reach different parts of tuscany daily. Silent and comfortable. The staff is helpful.

Location was only 5 minuets from town.

There should be a light over the door, as it is very dark at night to see the keyhole. Also, the steep stone stairs to the property should have a handrail.

The house is beautiful, in a traditional Tuscan style. The design is simple and elegant. Rooms are large, with a high ceiling right under the roof.

There are some steep stairs to access the apartment we stayed, la Piazzetta, and also a step in the bathroom. If one has sensitive knees this place is quite challenging. The kitchen has only plates and and cutlery and some pots. There is no cutting board, ladle, knife or other cooking utensils. Also there is only one functional burner at the stove and is a very big one making it imposibile to place some small pots or a kettle on it. The host prepared a video for the guests with all the instructions (in Italian) but if you do not have signal (and you do not, because is week) or do not understand the language, getting in can be a little tricky.

The pillows were very comfortable

It is advertised as a bed and breakfast but it is NOT in any way a bed and breakfast there was no food offered at all. The host only let us in our room when were first arrived and then we never saw him again the rest of the time. No change in towels bare minimum in room. Bed was comfortable we did see a few small spiders as its a very old cottage. Outdoor seating area had bird poop all over and is not like the pictures online. Cottage is very small and very closed up no real view of anything.
