The location was perfect for walking into sirmione it's a good 10 min walk or so but we enjoyed it. The view from our room was stunning right on the lake. Restaurant/bar staff so friendly food drinks perfect. Room itself was clean and comfortable shower was really nice aswell.

The rooms was very dark. And extremely hot I know we visited in October and to the Italians it's chilly but not us brits lol and the air-conditioning was just blowing our boiling hot air we did mention this few times to reception but it was never sorted we had to open window and door even tho there is a sign saying keep shut due to bugs but at bed tome it was physically to hot and uncomfortable which was a shame.

The hotel is located on the main road leading into Sirmione's old town and right next to the lake, with the lake-view rooms looking east towards Veneto. Their private parking isn't large but they managed easily to fit in our car (if necessary they repark other cars). The receptionist took our car keys and handled everything regarding the car, something which I found very convenient. The hotel is not very big but it's beautifully renovated. It gives off an elegant, modern feel although the atmosphere is still relaxing and welcoming. The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. We were on the ground floor overlooking the lake and considering this was our 10 year anniversary, we could not have asked for a more beautiful view. From what I could see most rooms had balconies. The hotel garden, overlooking the lake, is beautifully maintained with Mediterranean plants. Sirmione Castle is a light 15-minute walk through an immaculately kept neighbourhood. I booked this hotel because it had a convenient location and private parking but I was stunned at how wonderful it was. The pictures online do not do it justice. I thoroughly recommend it.

The coffee at breakfast was, I'm sorry to say, undrinkable. This could perhaps be improved with just simple filter coffee or a different coffee machine. But this certainly did not spoil our stay at this excellent hotel.

The perfect hotel for a vacation in the north of Italy! The staff are so welcoming and helpful, they provide you a family feeling and help with anything you need. The location is amazing with a view right on the lake , and theres always an option for parking - even blocking other cars and the staff holds the keys for you to take care of it. The room facilities were brand new and big enough for all of our luggage and shoppings We recommend 10/10!

The location of the hotel was excellent and well located for access to the town and boats for visiting other villages. The staff were very good and always willing to help which was a special occasion, making the holiday a memorable one. The restaurant and food were excellent including the continental breakfast which provided a wide selection of choices.

We had an amazing view of the lake. Even our bathroom/toilet had an amazing view, how often can you say that? The room had a very high ceiling with a pitched roof that resembled the look of a cabin. All of the facilities which we used were clean and modern. Breakfast was nice.

There were a few mosquitos in the room when we arrived, I assume that the previous guests had left the balcony door open. It would have been nice if there was an auto close on the door to prevent that. The coffee machine at the breakfast was a bit disappointing, it had a chemical like taste.

We just love the rooms with a view of the lake. On our first visit in 2019, we had a room with a balcony and this time we had a room on the ground floor with a small terrace and direct access to the garden…and the sea. It is wonderful to be kissed by the sun when we wake up or to see the moon when we go to bed. It’s our second stay at Hotel Aurora and it will not be the last. The rooms are well appointed with lots of storage space . The bed is comfortably firm. The Breakfast buffet was great and what a view from the dining hall/restaurant: the lake and snow capped mountains. Food served in the restaurant was very good. Ditto the beverages. Highly recommended!

Tuesday bedside sockets didn’t work?

Everything was perfect! The hotel is beautiful, with an excellent location. Breakfast was very good, served on a stunning terrace right by the lake. The staff were kind and welcoming, the room was lovely, and the bed extremely comfortable. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and highly recommend this place to everyone. The castle is also nearby — just about a 15-minute easy walk.

Everything was excellent!

Our room was overlooking the lake, the view was amazing. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was okay - although there was not much choice. Car park was quite small but we always managed to find a parking space. Location was great, only a short walk to sirmione centre. Lovely hotel, we really enjoyed our stay here.

No kettle in the room 😕

Fabulous location right on the edge of the lake. We stayed in a suite with lake view. The decor is a little tired, the lighting a little odd, but the bed is huge and comfortable and a fabulous bath.

The mosquitos were crazy - but that’s not the hotels fault! The room was a little tired, we struggled to get any acceptable lighting.

The restaurant was good, both for breakfast and evening meals. The bedroom was air conditioned so comfortable in the heat. The staff were always helpful and smiling. The view from our bedroom window, across Lake Garda was perfect, especially when the two thunderstorms were at night.

The hotel was on the main road and, although not noisy because our bedroom was at the back looking at Lake Garda, we would choose a more sheltered hotel next time. The bedroom was too small and, although the bed was OK, it was not the most comfortable bed. The bedroom might have been because we did not choose the get upgraded and pay extra so other bedrooms may be a better choice.
