The hotel has an excellent location, right on the main street just a few meters from all the attractions and the elevator to access the beaches. The host is very attentive and helpful, always willing to assist with our requests and replied quickly. The room is spacious and exactly as shown in the photos. The Wi-Fi works very well and there is complimentary coffee and tea available 24 hours a day. The only comment is that the room cleaning service was not done during the 4 nights we stayed there. However, when we asked for clean towels and toilet paper, they were provided immediately. Perhaps we should have requested the cleaning instead of assuming it would be done automatically. Overall, the experience was very good and we would definitely come back without hesitation! Thank you, Gennaro, for your kind attention!

The location is optimal for visiting Sorrento. It’s located right on the main corso and so close to all the cute little shops and many restaurants. We went for breakfast each morning at the pasticceria to the right, there was a supermarket less than a minute walk away,m where we got snacks and water, and we found the most amazing restaurant less than 300 meters away. The property is super clean and the staff were all so nice. Communication was very easy and quick which made checking in and out a breeze. Parking was also very easy. My husband was worries at first about the Valet service but in the end it worked out really good for us.

There really wasn’t anything we didn’t like. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Duomo Guest House in the heart of Sorrento. Our double room was spacious, tastefully decorated with bright, citrus-themed accents that reflect the charm of Sorrento’s famous lemons and oranges. The bed was very comfortable with fresh, clean bedding, and the room included a generously sized bathroom with a shower enclosure, large mirror, and 24-hour hot water—everything was spotless and well-maintained. One of the best parts of our room was the portico that overlooked the bustling Corso Italia, the main street in Sorrento’s city center. It was a delight to step out and soak in the vibrant atmosphere right from our room. The location of Duomo Guest House is unbeatable—right opposite the Cathedral of St. Phillips and James and surrounded by shops, restaurants, and pubs all within walking distance. There's even a grocery store just a couple of minutes away for any essentials. A special mention must go to Mr. Gennaro, the manager, who made our stay even more enjoyable. He was incredibly kind, approachable, and went out of his way to assist us. He answered all our questions patiently and gave excellent recommendations for things to do around Sorrento. He even helped us book day trips to Capri and the Amalfi Coast (Amalfi and Positano), which were both highlights of our trip. On our last day, we were allowed to leave our luggage at the guest house after checkout while we went on our final day trip—this was a big help. Would We Stay Again? Absolutely. If we return to Sorrento, we wouldn’t even consider staying anywhere else.

DUOMO guest house was the perfect choice for us. Easy walking distance from the station, located directly on the beautiful Corsa Italia, the"main" street of Sorrento town, with many excellent restaurants close by as well as shopping amenities to suit all preferences. The host was most welcoming, and willing to assist with advice and suggestions. The decor was fresh, modern and quite charming. A coffee machine was at our disposal and the courtesy minibar was appreciated! Our room had a balcony which was great for watching the "street scene" below.

There was absolutely nothing negative about our stay at Duomo.

The location is excellent for those who don’t drive. It is in the center of town, so you don’t even need to walk far to reach the main area. Check-in is very convenient, and the staff spoke good English and were very helpful.

There is no free parking, and the public parking is very expensive. You have to pay every time you drive out, so it’s important to consider parking costs before making a reservation and to find a suitable parking spot in advance.

We didn't receive breakfast; but the location was perfect! It's in downtown Sorrento near many shops and restaurants. The front desk guy, Genaro, was very kind and helpful! He let us check in early, and he made our tour and airport transfer reservations which all went smoothly. The room was very clean and quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great!

Being a solo traveller, the location is fantastic being on the main pedestrian street (with the balcony overlooking it). The room is very generous in size and very clean. There were complimentary drinks in the fridge, including a coffee machine in the reception area which is always lovely. Gennaro was so helpful with any question I had, and was so welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend!

Nothing - it was all fantastic!

This property was close to everything in Sorrento. It was a nice room, a little tight but comfortable. It was peaceful and quiet. The balcony was really two chairs that looked out to the other building.

The elevator was out of order, and although this cannot be controlled it was a fair amount of stairs to climb with or without luggage. And the property owner never mentioned it before check in nor did they offer to help.

The location was perfect! Very central and right in the hub of the restaurants, bar, and transportation. The staff was EXTREMELY accommodating and let us leave our bags in a secured lobby before check in so we didn’t have to carry our bags all around the city. 10/10 would stay here again.

Brilliantly located guest house on one of the main streets near Piazza Tasso, 10-minute walk from the train station and Curreri Viaggi bus stop. Lots to see, do, eat and drink on your door step - perfect for exploring Sorrento! Gennaro was really friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The bedroom and bathroom were a good size and all the facilities were clean and very comfortable. The room and balcony were really quiet, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring, the complementary mini bar was also a lovely addition. Grazie mille Gennaro!

We really enjoyed our stay here and there wouldn't be anything we'd want to improve upon!
