We loved staying here! Great location in the middle of town, short walking distance to everything. Our room was on the top floor and on the street, and very quiet and comfortable. The split rooms provided a nice bit of privacy (although AC is only in main room, and you must go through main bedroom to exit room). Lovely patio with a view of building rooftops (but is only real non-bedroom space). The receptionist was incredibly sweet, helpful, and easy to communicate with via WhatsApp. The building has an elevator that goes to higher levels and was appreciated after tiring days. Our floor had a mini kitchen in a cabinet that was shockingly well equipped for its size and a welcome facility.

Despite the elevator going to most rooms, it does not go to all levels. This was not an issue for us but should be considered for anyone concerned. Another reminder is that cars cannot access the street the hotel is on so be prepared to either walk from nearby main roads or train station; again, not a hindrance but a reminder for some.

I absolutely loved my stay here! The room was gorgeous, fresh/bright and clean with natural sunlight. The staff were exceptional, so kind and accomodating and gave me lots of helpful tips as well, really went above and beyond. It got suggested to me to see the Easter procession the night I arrived (which I didn’t know about), I went and it was quite amazing! The breakfast at Da Franco’s was really great too! I had free choice of what I wanted and it was wonderful. The area is safe as it’s lively and busy, but down a quieter alley so you can’t hear anything from the room. But restaurants right at your door and a very short walk to a spectacular view out over the bay and to Mt Vesuvius!

Nothing. I was at the top floor and the lift doesn’t go all the way up, only a small issue when I had my suitcase, but nothing major at all! More than worth it, I would stay here again!

A charming little courtyard entrance and a lovely room. Ir was spotlessly clean. The service and communication from Raffaella was exceptional. She was so helpful, and gave specific directions for arrival on the ferry from Naples, and for our visits to Peompeii and Herculaneum. It made our stay very relaxing and straightforward. Nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely return here, and the price was very reasonable. Great value.

There was nothing we didn't like. We had to unplug the TV at the wall because the remote wouldn't work on our final evening, but that was a really minor point.

The hotel is centrally located, close to the heart of Sorrento but quiet enough to ensure the tranquility we needed. The room was impeccably clean and the comfortable bed allowed us to sleep wonderfully every night. The staff was always helpful and friendly, ready to meet our every need with a smile. Although breakfast was not provided, Raffaella recommended some local restaurants that turned out to be real culinary gems. Overall, our stay was perfect in every way. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience in Sorrento. We will definitely be back!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Rafaela's hotel for 12 days, and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience! The location is perfect, allowing easy access to local attractions while still providing a peaceful retreat. The hotel itself is impeccably clean, which made my stay all the more enjoyable. Rafaela is an absolutely fantastic host; her warm hospitality truly sets this place apart. She goes above and beyond to ensure her guests feel welcomed and comfortable, offering honest advice and recommendations that really enhanced my visit. It was central so fantastic location . Lovely piazza within 5 minutes which had the most amazing coastal view. Even though it was right in the centre it was not noisy. Room was good spacious and had kitchen facilities and a fridge which was good. Bathroom was spacious and very clean. I couldn’t fault it. We had to have a late check in and that was arranged by Raffaella. We had an original booking cancelled at short notice so were desperate to find a property. So pleased we booked here as it was perfect. We had to have some additional information and this was supplied to us really quickly. Even confirmation of our transfer to the airport was confirmed by Raffaella. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect.

The centrally-located Sorrento Inn Funzionista is is absolutely perfect for a stay in the town. The manager, Raffaella, could not have been more helpful, going above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible stay. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and provide everything you need - some even have little kitchens so you can prepare meals! As Funzionista is in the heart of the town, however, there is no shortage of places to eat and drink, with a wide variety of options on your doorstep. The beach is only a short walk too! I would definitely recommend Funzionista to anyone wanting a reasonably-priced, comfortable stay in beautiful Sorrento!

This place was lovely, right in the heart of the old part of Sorrento. Room was like a small studio with an en suite and a kitchenette; it was a good size too. Plenty of restaurants and shops literally on your doorstep. It's a great place to stay. Rafaella the hostess was amazing. She was always helpful and even had a list of her recommended restaurants with addresses, descriptions and costs. She spoke perfect English and was really cheerful and funny. She totally understood the English sense of humour! I couldn't have picked a better place to stay.

The kitchenette was great, with a range of equipment the only thing missing (from an English person's point of view) was a decent sized mug for my tea.

We had a small apartment on the 2nd floor. There is an elevator, with suitcases to get up is not a problem. No breakfast, but there is a small kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave and necessary dishes. There is a coffee maker and glasses for wine and Prosecco in the room. Nearby supermarket and many restaurants. The sea nearby is a lot to go down, sunbed 25 euros per person. You can’t just come in and swim. Free beach - need to walk 20-25 minutes. Thank you very much to our Raffaella! She is good hostess and very hospitable. She was very helpful with tips on where to go to the restaurant, how to find free sea beach and beautiful lagoon, where the most delicious gelato, very worried about us comfortable. The air conditioning in the hotel and room is very good. It stays working even when you leave and pick up the card! You’re coming back to the room from the cold heard! Very good bathroom and beautiful view from window. The room is really more better then on pictures in Booking. I like everything in this hotel! If we will come back in Sorrento - only in this hotel! Raffaella you like a fairy of this hotel 🥰🥰🥰

There was no place to dry the swimsuits and towels after the sea. And there was no pan in the room.

We stayed for 5 nights in September in the Superior Double with Terrace and loved everything about this property. Loved the little kitchenette and balcony overlooking the courtyard. The location is perfect, literally walk out your door to amazing restaurants and shops. About a 5-10min walk to the water and same to the train. Raffaella at the front desk was so helpful. Gave us great restaurant recommendations and directions from the ferry to make the arrival easy, definitely take the elevator!! Would highly recommend and would stay here again.
