The location was perfect! Tucked away on a little side street right in the old center made for a quaint and quiet place to sleep. Air conditioning kept it cool and comfortable, and water pressure and temperature was perfect. Everything was very clean and tidy. Surrounded by restaurants and shops and just two blocks away from the ocean, everything was an easy walk. Rafaella and the staff were beyond welcoming, friendly and helpful!

The bed mattress and pillows were much firmer than I am used to, but not enough to complain about. Perhaps add 2 soft pillows. Loved that 2 fluffy comforters were available!

Fantastic location, close to everything. It’s about a 7 min walk to the train station, and just about the same to the beach clubs. Can’t beat the location as you are close to everything. The room was clean and the blackout blinds were a huge plus for us. Breakfast is at a nearby restaurant and I can honestly say it was the best in terms of options that we’ve encountered during our trip so far. Very tasty too. What made our stay perfect was Raffaella who was able to help us book everything we wanted last minute. It truly felt like she cares about the guests having a great experience as she went above and beyond even though she did not have to.

The location of the hotel is perfect. The staff is very helpful, particularly with recommendations for tours, transportation, and restaurants. I would stay here again!

My only complaint about this hotel is the breakfast situation. The hotel has an agreement with a restaurant to serve breakfast to its guests from 8–10 AM. The restaurant is close, but not right nearby. We stayed for 3 nights and did not make it to breakfast once. There are plenty of other places nearby, so it’s not a huge problem, but was a little inconvenient

We loved staying here! Great location in the middle of town, short walking distance to everything. Our room was on the top floor and on the street, and very quiet and comfortable. The split rooms provided a nice bit of privacy (although AC is only in main room, and you must go through main bedroom to exit room). Lovely patio with a view of building rooftops (but is only real non-bedroom space). The receptionist was incredibly sweet, helpful, and easy to communicate with via WhatsApp. The building has an elevator that goes to higher levels and was appreciated after tiring days. Our floor had a mini kitchen in a cabinet that was shockingly well equipped for its size and a welcome facility.

Despite the elevator going to most rooms, it does not go to all levels. This was not an issue for us but should be considered for anyone concerned. Another reminder is that cars cannot access the street the hotel is on so be prepared to either walk from nearby main roads or train station; again, not a hindrance but a reminder for some.

I absolutely loved my stay here! The room was gorgeous, fresh/bright and clean with natural sunlight. The staff were exceptional, so kind and accomodating and gave me lots of helpful tips as well, really went above and beyond. It got suggested to me to see the Easter procession the night I arrived (which I didn’t know about), I went and it was quite amazing! The breakfast at Da Franco’s was really great too! I had free choice of what I wanted and it was wonderful. The area is safe as it’s lively and busy, but down a quieter alley so you can’t hear anything from the room. But restaurants right at your door and a very short walk to a spectacular view out over the bay and to Mt Vesuvius!

Nothing. I was at the top floor and the lift doesn’t go all the way up, only a small issue when I had my suitcase, but nothing major at all! More than worth it, I would stay here again!

A charming little courtyard entrance and a lovely room. Ir was spotlessly clean. The service and communication from Raffaella was exceptional. She was so helpful, and gave specific directions for arrival on the ferry from Naples, and for our visits to Peompeii and Herculaneum. It made our stay very relaxing and straightforward. Nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely return here, and the price was very reasonable. Great value.

There was nothing we didn't like. We had to unplug the TV at the wall because the remote wouldn't work on our final evening, but that was a really minor point.

The hotel is centrally located, close to the heart of Sorrento but quiet enough to ensure the tranquility we needed. The room was impeccably clean and the comfortable bed allowed us to sleep wonderfully every night. The staff was always helpful and friendly, ready to meet our every need with a smile. Although breakfast was not provided, Raffaella recommended some local restaurants that turned out to be real culinary gems. Overall, our stay was perfect in every way. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience in Sorrento. We will definitely be back!

The location is perfect, allowing easy access to local attractions while still providing a peaceful retreat. The hotel itself is impeccably clean, which made my stay all the more enjoyable. Rafaela is an absolutely fantastic host; her warm hospitality truly sets this place apart. She goes above and beyond to ensure her guests feel welcomed and comfortable, offering honest advice and recommendations that really enhanced my visit. It was central so fantastic location . Lovely piazza within 5 minutes which had the most amazing coastal view. Even though it was right in the centre it was not noisy. Room was good spacious and had kitchen facilities and a fridge which was good. Bathroom was spacious and very clean. I couldn’t fault it. We had to have a late check in and that was arranged by Raffaella. We had an original booking cancelled at short notice so were desperate to find a property. So pleased we booked here as it was perfect. We had to have some additional information and this was supplied to us really quickly. Even confirmation of our transfer to the airport was confirmed by Raffaella. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect.

I couldn’t fault it.

The centrally-located Sorrento Inn Funzionista is is absolutely perfect for a stay in the town. The manager, Raffaella, could not have been more helpful, going above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible stay. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and provide everything you need - some even have little kitchens so you can prepare meals! As Funzionista is in the heart of the town, however, there is no shortage of places to eat and drink, with a wide variety of options on your doorstep. The beach is only a short walk too! I would definitely recommend Funzionista to anyone wanting a reasonably-priced, comfortable stay in beautiful Sorrento!
