Giardino Sorrento is a hidden gem. It's location away from the busy city center and it's beautiful private garden made it an ideal location for our family. It is located within a block of two of excellent restaurants and shopping opportunities. The staff was very friendly and professional, especially the morning staff setting a delicious and varied continental breakfast for us. The rooms were very clean, a good size with very comfortable beds and good bath amenities. Sorrento is a very walkable city but the B&B's location is a bit of a hike from the train station if you have large suitcases - recommend taking a taxi. Our host was very helpful in securing a taxi for our departure trip to the train station.

While communications with our host were excellent via phone or text, the only times staff members were onsite were during check-in time and at breakfast.

Beautiful spot if you are looking to explore the Amalfi coast and Capri but not looking to stay in a fancy expensive hotel. It is close to the train/bus station (a 5-minute walk) and the port (a 15-minute walk), and it is a "safe space" where you can hibernate and recharge. The people running the place are very friendly and accommodating. The b&b has 4 recently renovated rooms and the showers are very good. You can enjoy breakfast on the terrace 7:30-9:30am: espresso drinks, fruits, boiled eggs, ham & cheese, and a lot of pastries options. There is a really nice luggage storage place in the next block in case you need to use one.

The room had a window into the garden that other guests have access to, there was no blackout curtain as far as I could tell. During my stay, I could smell something in the room, like dirty socks (I swear it wasn't me). I blame that on the unwashed blanket on the bed. I am certain it would be replaced if I addressed this issue, but the smell wasn't strong enough to deal with it.

Beautiful gardens, with chairs and sun loungers, lovely place to relax. Wonderful staff, couldn’t do enough to help. Quick walk into the town. Clean and comfortable rooms.

Nothing we didn’t love

Great place close to the train station and a short walk away from the city center. It's also close to some good restaurants, one of which (La Cantinaccia de Popolo) seems to be the most popular restaurant in Sorrento judging by the number of people waiting in line to get in every evening. The place was also very clean, the room was a decent size and had a good-sized bathroom. The breakfast was decent but not something to write home about unless you really like sweets (they had a large and tasty lineup of sweets) but if you don't like sugar it will be tougher to appreciate. One of the best features of the place was the lemon garden which you could admire through the large glass doors of the room.

The room was quite cold in the evening and the humidity was also very high and using the air conditioning to heat it seemed to have caused some condensation behind the bed. This is probably just an issue when it's colder outside but shouldn't be an issue in the summertime.

The garden was lovely. It was very tranquil setting away from all the commotion of the main square.

It was a little bit of a walk to get to most of the activity, but it was a blessing because we ate so much pasta, pizza a gelato - we didn’t mind walking back to our room. And it all turned out because it happened to be in very close proximity to a popular trattoria that was excellent. We ate there on our last night.

Small only 4 rooms. Very clean. Location good near train station and 15-20 min to town centre. Free safe. Peaceful no external noise from traffic or other hotels. Owners very responsive by using WhatsApp.

Charged for a late check in but flight determined our arrival? Needed top up of tea , coffee and milk but staff only there during breakfast times. We were in company and loved it but may have felt a little uncomfortable if it was just the 2 of us as position in a quiet area and it was like letting yourselves into your own house but with other guests in your house. Only 1 door in and out of b&b.

Great location, within walking distance from railway station. Lots of nice restaurants with one a few steps away but beware its so good there is always a long queue. Lots of shops and visit to Giardini di cataldo lemon farm is a must. Sorrento is fabulous.

Nothing we didn't like.

Room was neat, tidy. Comfortable beds and very nice bathroom. Location was ideal to explore the town. Breakfast was lovely and served on the terrace outside of the bedrooms.

WiFi was very weak in our room, which was furthest away from reception. With the town full of motorcycles, it was difficault to find nearby motorcycle parking.
