Rarely have I encountered such a lovely place. Everything was so perfectly accomplished. The hotel itself is lovely. Well located. Then there is the staff; each and every one of them I’m quite certain was there just to make my stay perfect. Breakfast was a dream. Thankfully we had six mornings to be able to experience it all. To describe it would be impossible, but for an idea, there was a table with perhaps ten porcelain honey pots, each from a different plant or fruit. Phenomenal! Our room was lovely, well furnished, bed cozy, and there were bathrobes. I may never return to Naples, but the Hotel Continental will remain in my memory as one of the, if not the, most wonderful hotels where I have stayed.

Beautiful hotel and location. Staff was exceptional. Views were great from our room and roof top. Gym was good and had what o needed. Breakfast was fantastic as was staff at breakfast. Good location to get to ferries and walkable to the train. Shopping and dining were all very close. Be aware that if you book an outside room and in particular corner rooms there are metal shades that raise and lower. This was great for every night of our stay except the night of a storm. The shades rattled like an old tin roof all night. Not much sleep that night. We would stay here again for sure.

Beautiful hotel right on the water. The rooms were very comfortable. The staff were very nice and accommodating. They have a nice pool. They also have a delicious rooftop restaurant with an adjacent lounge/bar area with live entertainment. It’s walking distance to a lots of shops and restaurants. It felt like a safe part of town. We saw a lot of kids and families out and about in this area. It is also walking distance to the pier where you can catch a boat or ferry to Capri or elsewhere.

If you want to go down to the beach club/water level, you have to take a small lift down to the -3 level and I was pretty scared and claustrophobic being in the lift. It’s a long way down from 0 to -3 level. I’m sure there are stairs somewhere too but I didn’t see them.

Breakfast and staff were delightful every morning. Rooftop bar was amazing to watch the sunset every night with music. The pool was great although we didn't use it much as we were jumping around the neighboring towns. The location was right in the heart of the city and the hotel is right next to a huge sunset viewing area so that was a bonus. The elevator goes down to the beach level and is connected to a beach club and easy access to the ports. Great spot, great hotel, staff was amazing.

The location was absolutely perfect. The staff…all the staff were clearly hard working and friendly. The breakfast offerings were fantastic with un paralleled offerings and we asked for different eggs and this was never a problem 👍

In the room another socket at the dresser table and a mirror……..for the wife!

Beautiful property very close to cliff but few public cliff views except for the rooftop restaurant. This picture makes it appear to be on the cliff but there is another property just in front of it. Great amenities. Great included breakfast, nothing left out!

Staff on the whole were wonderful, responsive and helpful! I was put off by the cash only policy to reserve/ pay for the many excursions and trips offered by the hotel. Even reserving a tact to the airport could only be done with cash payment. I personally, for obvious safety reasons, no longer carry that kind of cash with me. It required a separate trip to find an ATM with a reasonable exchange rate on a day when I was not feeling well.

A lovely hotel. Possibly a little old fashioned or stuffy, but still a lovely place to spend time. Very attentive staff. Breakfast lovely, if a bit over the top. Not sure I need ice cream for breakfast. Our bathroom had a shower in the bath, which is always disappointing, but fits with the age of the place and we did not query it. Our room did indeed have the advertised sea view, but it was over the roof of another hotel. We did not have cause to use the rooftop bar, but it looked nice when we checked it out when closed. There is a lift down to the beach club, which leads to a tunnel anyone familiar with German WW2 bunkers will appreciate, but it beats using the steps.

Unfortunately our second night was marred by some ridiculously noisy Americans in the adjoining room. We called reception but whenever they came up of course they were quiet. On checking out we discovered we were not the only ones to complain. As a gesture of good will the hotel did not charge us the parking fee of €50, which we did not ask for. Obviously this was not the hotel’s fault, but when you are only staying two nights it makes a difference. As a minor point, the hotel does still have a turn down service where they leave a chocolate and a weather forecast for the next day. Unfortunately the chocolates all seem to have been stored incorrectly and have blown. Ok to eat, but not very pleasant looking.

Breakfast was incredible - service impeccable from all staff. Location second to none in Sorrento, with a beautiful pool for late afternoon sun after days trips. We used it as a base for 5 days - travelled by boat to Capri, Positano and Amalfi.

The relationship with Leonellis beach - tickets to swim on the beach are included with your stay. The staff at Leonellis are pushy and just want your money, almost acting as night club bouncers - this is a total contrast to the staff at the hotel. I suggest they revisit this partnership we used the other beach clubs and the staff were much better.

The location and the view to Mt Vesuvius. Pool with pool bar was an excellent place to relax after exploring Sorrento and surrounds. Enjoyed Rooftop bar at sunset. Breakfast was fantastic, extensive selection and delicious. Internal photos and photos of the pool online don't do this accommodation justice. A quiet location, close to Leonellis beach, free swim pass included when required ( swim only, no chairs or sitting at beach). Easy walk to restaurants and to explore the fishing village.

Lovely hotel on the Sorrento Coast and just off the centre of the town and lift to the beach area. We got a good deal for arriving early season but the consequence of that was the roof top bar and pool were closed. Everything was very well set out, amazing variety for continental breakfast. The rooms are smaller than your would expect for a 4* hotel, and no complimentary water, but still comfortable.
