Hotel is gorgeous inside and out. Staff work very hard to ensure that all areas of service run very smoothly. Lemon trees are an amazing view at breakfast. Loved the secret garden. Salvatore is everywhere you need him to be and then some, an extraordinary employee, with excellent personality and manners. Knows how to treat people very well and aims to please. Rooftop pool and bar were lovely. Views from there are gorgeous. Breakfast was everything you could be looking for 10 out of 10. The hotel is in a fantastic location for walking around the city. Hotel is very safe and easy for accessing when going back late at night. Great shower and bath. Comfy bed, great pillows and they have a pillow menu. Service at the hotel was first class in every area. Grazie mille.

Junior Suite was advertised as having a hot tub and a spa bath and had neither. I requested a nice view from balcony and was facing building works and scaffolding. Hotel didn't have a Spa, which would have been extra amazing. For the size of the hotel, it didn't have lounges where you could have a seat, a drink and a snack day or night, only the 5 star roof top bar or 5 star lounge service in the hotel at night, something in between would be great.

Fabulous Hotel. Every member of staff we encountered were so incredibly helpful. The warmth of welcome when we first arrived at 11am on 1st April was exceptional. The Receptionist/ Conciege who took us to the our room to explain how all the gadgets worked, later lent us a book about Sorrento that was really helpful. What was so nice about this, was that he had specifically found us the next day to give us this little gem. Such a lovely thought. I can't remember his name but he has glasses! His colleague on check in was equally nice and informative, and really made us feel welcomed. The wonderful host at breakfast who made sure we had a window table, to the bar staff in the main bar area and roof top cocktail area were all superb, friendly and professional. Room was spotlessly clean with a wonderful view of the sea and Mt Vesuvios. Location of the hotel was just right. Close enough to the old town and square, ( 2 min -3 mins walk ), yet far enough away that you are not disturbed. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here when I next visit Sorrento. Bravo Team@Grand Hotel La Favourita!!

Everything! The service, staff, receptionist were all amazing, helpful, polite, genuine! The restaurant in the lemon garden “Zest” was close to michelin quality food, and excellent ambience and music. The breakfast was good, it could have been slightly better. The architecture, design travelled us back in the 50’s and 60’s. Raymondo was the happy note every morning! The location was incredibly central, close to everything but isolated without noise. The pool at the roof with view of the entire Sorrento, calm enough for relaxing and nicely decorated.

Our room patio! My mistake I shouldn’t have selected garden, it was under the lemon garden and no view at all.

The staff is very welcoming. Angelica & Paolo were especially helpful. The hotel is beautifully appointed & has lovely colorful tile work, with blossoming, fragrant lemon & orange trees all around. The rooftop view of the sea & pool are spectacular. Breakfasts are very special in a very pretty setting. Delicious Local dishes & various breads are served in addition to freshly made omelets. The location is within short walks of shopping & restaurants.

The hotel is impeccably clean. The rooftop bar and pool are a huge plus with a great view and service. The hotel is close walking distance to Marinas Grande and Picciola. It is just steps from center city, home of all the shopping and restaurants. Breakfast was excellent. You have a huge variety of fruit, pastries, eggs and an omelette station. You are greeted daily by a great maitre d, Raimondo. He remembers your name after your first visit and greets you warmly every morning.

The only negative and it’s not a big deal, there is no ice machine any where on the premises.

We were upgraded to a larger room on arrival. The car parking service was really good, I liked handing the car keys over for parking. Breakfast was good and all the staff were always friendly & courteous. I liked the rooftop pool and bar area. The pillow menu was good, the turn down service was appreciated.

Maybe the option of porridge for breakfast, also a selection of seeds and nuts, and perhaps some smoked salmon. Otherwise little to suggest other than the observation that the hotel reception area seemed too large and not the best use of space.

What a little slice of heaven this hotel was. After 3 weeks of travelling Italy we stayed here for a few days to recharge our batteries. And recharge it did. The hotel is just magnificent. Very old school Italian. All of the staff were exceptional and made you feel like you were the only guest. Breakfast was delicious with great choices. The rooftop bar and pool was amazing. Such a beautiful view of the water. Located in a fantastic location. Everything at your doorstep. If you’re in Sorrento, treat yourself to this amazing hotel

The hotel is located right in the middle of Sorrento and has a parking garage underneath. We got a double upgrade to a beautiful room with a nice view of the sea and surroundings. The rooftop was even better than we expected, the pool was bigger and heated although it was already November. The staff is super friendly. The breakfast is a feast. The lunch is delicious and a nice choice of food. What we didn't know was that the restaurant Zest had a Michelin star awarded chef so we had dinner there. The food was amazing!!

Can't come up with anything negative

From all our breakfasts at many nice locations, this one ranks in our top 3. Not only the variety of food but especially the highest quality of products is one of the best ever. The Maitre at the restaurant, Mr Raymondo, deserves an extra appreciation for his super professional and service oriented approach. The rooms and whole hotel environment breaths high quality refined aesthetic pleasure.

Although the location is perfect to visit city and beach, the downside is that it captures street noises and late-evening-garden loud sounds directly to the room.

Our first impression was that it looked just like a royal palace inside. The room is humongous, suits for a head of state. The staff are courteous and helpful. Breakfast room is luxurious and breakfast are so nice. Location is perfect, overlooking to the water view of Sorrento Golfo di Napoli. Walking distance to ferry to Capri, shops, but tuck in a quiet waterfront area of Sorrento. The roof top pool is out of this world gorgeous. We love everything about it, and we book again next time we visit Sorrento.
