stayed mid October 2025 This is a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location and wonderful service. We were upgraded gorgeous Executive suite room 411 with a large terrace overlooking the Gulf of Naples and view of Mount Vesuvius. What a great surprise. The bed was very comfortable and roomy albeit the mattress was two smaller mattresses together which is a common occurrence in Europe. My husband and I are older so to have a comfortable bed and pillows is very important. We loved the breakfast which was very varied and extremely generous. Starting the day with a lovely breakfast and cappuccino and impeccable service was so appreciated. The service at the hotel was stellar including front desk and all the servers at the restaurant. We also found the location very accessible to both ferry travel and train ans SITA bus station. Just be aware that there is an elevator from the ferry port to city level when you arrive or depart by boat. Thank you for the lovely stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. It was so hard to say goodbye to Sorrento!

Pleasant front desk staff. Each time they called us a cab it arrived within 5 minutes. Rooms are small with practically no closet space. Beds were great .Air-con was practically nonexistent. Rooms were quiet.Good elevators. Dinner was excellent.Waiters were true professional servers. Breakfast staff were cheerful . Wifi great . This hotel was the closest to the swimming lidos in all of Sorrento,which is why I chose it,and in that respect it did not disappoint.

Few minor complaints about breakfast: 6-7 grown men standing around during breakfast.Why not put one to work making a fresh fruit cocktail in the morning? Why not serve some of that delicious homemade Italian grain bread instead of the bland bread they serve? Baked beans were available one of the 7 mornings I was there.Prunes were available 3 of the 7 mornings. Peanut butter and jams were available but in those small glass jars that airplanes serve in business class. Breakfast was well below par although I appreciated the nuts,grains and cereals-and soy milk.

The hotel is set amongst beautiful gardens and overlooks the ocean. All of the Staff were exceptional - welcoming , helpful and friendly. The rooms were large and well presented. Very clean and spacious. The pool bar served delicious food and fantastic cocktails. Marchello was the manager of the bar and made the cocktails- he was a fabulous person to deal with, very attentive and helpful. Breakfast in the restaurant was a buffet and had a good selection of hot and cold foods. They also served delicious cappuccinos to your table. A great way to start your day. There was also shopping and heaps of restaurants right outside the door. The ferry port was walking distance as well. Loved staying here.

Nothing - it was a fantastic place to stay

The manager worked with us to resolve our upset with the room allocated to us. Half of our stay was in a room so small you needed to leave it to change your mind. The new room was very good, other than the bathroom.

The room we selected per the website was to be a Superiore room. Motel 6 has better rooms. When we tried to pursue other options we were told by staff that those were the rooms allocated to on-line booking services and that there was nothing we could do. They blocked attempts to see the manager. Once we finally got to the manager he arranged to move us to a room that had sufficient space, although drawer space was still totally inadequate.

We stayed here for the final week of our honeymoon. A beautiful hotel and an unbeatable location. Suite was on the waterfront with views from a private balcony across to Mt Vesuvius. Wonderful, helpful and incredibly polite and professional staff. Excellent facilities and comfortable clean rooms. The breakfast each day was excellent in the dining room with panoramic views across the bay. Also worth having a drink in the hotel bar, also with panoramic views on an outdoor veranda. Hotel is located on the beachfront with the historic centre the other side, so the location is hard to beat. The hotel itself is stunning, - something of a nod to a different time (in a fantastic way). Highly recommended. It’s not cheap, but for a change in this day and age, you get what you pay for here. Sorrento also has easy links to other locations via train and ferry. We visited Pompeii and Capri by each method respectively without issue. Staff very helpful with travel information. Worth making use of the beach club below the hotel. Hotel guests get free entry to the beach club (you will still have to rent sun loungers but you save a lot by not paying for entry).

Nothing - everything was excellent. The only negative is that we had to leave after only one week!

Location is one of the best in Sorrento, the sea view rooms are absolutely amazing. I liked the old style vibe.

Some rooms are dated and need refurb, however the worst aspect is water is not provided whilst sold very expensive. I was actually told we can drink from the tap in the bath!! Water is basic, I cannot remember the last hotel I stayed at and had to pay for water, the rooms were expensive and to be so greedy to charge 6 euro for a medium bottle is absolutely unacceptable. In general it's a place where they charge extra for everything which makes it feel cheap. No hotel beach either and the one downstairs is unbelievably crowded.

Every single staff member was friendly, helpful and professional. The position of the hotel in relation to both the sea and the amenities of Sorrento is perfect. The outside area is beautiful The views of the sea from the restaurant, bars & garden is breathtaking. Breakfast was excellent- plenty of choice and excellent service.

Our room was garden facing which was often noisy. We couldn't shut our window though as the room was extremely stuffy and warm. We asked about the air con but was told it doesn't go on until May. A simple cooling fan would have made a difference. We took our own kettle as we had read previously that one wasn't provided. I think a kettle and free bottled water should be provided in a 4* hotel.

Beautiful hotel full of old world elegance and charm in a perfect location in Sorrento. The staff were amazing, reception, dining room, pool & bar, housekeeping, everyone was always so helpful and accommodating. Beautiful terrace for drinks to soak up beautiful views of sunsets and Mount Vesuvius. Amazing dining room for breakfast with plenty of choice to suit all tastes. Pool area and bar/restaurant was very relaxed and well maintained. Hotel is just steps from Piazza Tasso and easy 10 min walk to train station. Right beside lift down to Sorrento Marina. A wonderful hotel to celebrate special birthday and wedding anniversary!

A heartfelt thank you for making our experience so special! The breakfast team were also wonderful and thoughtfully remembered our preference for coffee each morning ☕️ Special thanks also to our driver Marko, who ensured despite being caught in traffic, our journey from Naples to beautiful Sorrento was enjoyable and very informative about the local beauty spots. Fabulous location. The view from the hotel bar balcony is one of the best in Sorrento and the drinks also the best! It was a few minutes from other bars and restaurants and the main tourist areas, and close vertically to the beach area. The breakfast was fabulous - lots of choice and good quality.

The taxis took advantage of the fact that you cannot pull a suitcase from the harbour to any hotel because it is so steep. They therefore charged a lot for a very short journey. That is the same for all the hotels! The weather was very hot however the hotel said they don't turn the aircon on until May (we visited at the end of April). We therefore had to leave the window open so got a bad nights sleep due to outside noise.
