We had an amazing stay there, was just simply perfect. In walkable distance from the train station (8-10 min), very close (actually located) in the city center. View to the see is just in 3 min walk, lift can be used in Villa Comunale to reach the beach club. Room was perfectly clean, equipped, with a welcome drink included. Breakfast was superb, cannot wish better selection, and having it on the terrace was a really nice start of the day. Staff is excellent, we met at least 3 different persons, but all were kind, supportive, speaking English well, and helped with even extra questions, and requests. Definitely recommended, and would chose the same again.

The breakfast was incredible. In actual fact, the breakfast was the best experienced ever in a boutique style hotel. Apart from an amazing assortment of baked or fresh items to eat, staff were on hand to make any type of cooked eggs to your liking. Breakfast could be eaten inside the breakfast area or on the balcony. Much thought had gone into the beautiful decor and the table setting. Amazing!

Every thing was perfect

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Maison Il Conservatorio. The hotel is stunning, with beautifully designed and incredibly spacious rooms that exceeded our expectations. Its location is perfect—just steps from the port and the heart of Sorrento, making it ideal for exploring the town. The breakfast each morning was delicious and a highlight for the whole family. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. This was truly a five-star experience in every way. We’re already looking forward to returning to this exceptional hotel and the charming town of Sorrento.

We had the most amazing stay here. Wonderful staff who are kind, courteous and always happy to help in any way they can. Our room was spacious, clean, modern and the beds were very comfortable. Air con worked brilliantly. Delicious breakfast that was cooked by two lovely ladies. Right in the heart of Sorrento yet tucked away. A couple of minutes walk to the center or to the lift to get to the port. Felt like we had discovered a hidden gem as it never felt busy or over-crowded at breakfast or around the hotel itself. Five star experience from start to finish!

We stayed for 4 nights and we are so pleased we chose this hotel. It was in a great location near the lift to the beach / marina...and in a quiet location 2 minutes from the main centre and on the edge of the old town of Sorrento. We sat in the comfiest of chairs every night outside our room and it was so chillaxing!! The room was spacious and spotless. The bed was the comfiest of our 3 weeks in Italy...and the breakfast was sensational!!. The minibar is well stocked and well priced. We absolutely loved Sorrento and the comfort of this hotel was a key contributor to this. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again!

We didn't want to leave! There is nothing we didnt like. The attention to detail is excellent. Sweets on your pillow every night, chocolates on the last night...I could go on and on!

My family and I loved everything about the property! From beginning to the end of our stay everyone was amazing, kind, and helpful. The breakfast was excellent! All the receptionists, housekeeping , and the cook and server at breakfast went above and beyond to make you feel welcomed! The location was close to shops and the beach. We even did the cooking class at the property which I recommend. A huge thank you to all the staff for a wonderful stay!

We had a delightful four-night stay at Maison Il Conservatorio. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were welcoming and eager to assist with any questions we had. The hotel’s location is perfect - right in the heart of the town center, close to excellent restaurants and the marina, making it convenient to catch a boat to Capri, the Amalfi Coast, and Naples. The breakfast room was stunning, offering a wide variety of dishes.

During our stay, we had to switch rooms as the original category we booked was unavailable for the entire duration. For one night, the only option was their suite, which they mentioned was two categories above our classic room and therefore more expensive. We decided to go for it to avoid moving hotels but were surprised to find little noticeable difference between the two rooms. Based on this experience, stick to the classic room, as upgrading doesn't seem to offer much added value. Additionally, while the breakfast room's ambiance was beautiful and inviting, the staff seemed rather stressed when responding to requests. This created a slight disconnect from the otherwise serene and elegant setting.

We lived the design and decor of the spacious room. Breakfast was a delight each morning. Very helpful and friendly service. Air con was welcome after a hot day outside. Hotel was well located. Upon arrival by ferry from Sorrento, we used the porter service which cost 5 euro per suitcase. There is a lift from the ferry up to the headland which has a small fee. I would highly recommend using the porter service. They provide us with a welcome bottle of sparkling wine upon check in.

You do need to use the lift to access the floors which requires a code which the hotel will provide or take the stairs. Shower floor can be slippery, one of us had a fall in the shower so take care. Just a thin blanket on the bed so don’t turn the air on too low.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Great location in easy walking distance of the town. Excellent air conditioning which was absolutely necessary! Very friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Gluten free and milk alternatives available. Good selection in the mini bar which was not expensive.

Maybe I would have liked a coffee machine in the room. But honestly I'm nitpicking. Everything was great.

Peaceful yet close to everything. Friendly, helpful staff. Very clean and lovely decor. I was even given a bottle of Prosecco on arrival that I gave to the lovely Daniela who had to help me with my far too heavy luggage. No such generosity in much more expensive hotels I’ve stayed in where the service was also impersonal. London particularly
