We had a lovely stay here. Everything was great. The location is perfect. The hotel is 5mins walk from the bus station and within mins walk to all the shops, restaurants & bars. Tasso square which is the main square is only 2mins walk. The rooms themselves are very quiet, clean, a nice rainfall shower, TV & the beds are very comfy. The breakfast is very good too so much variety for drinks with tea, coffee & juices available. Plenty of fruits, croissants, eggs, bacon, cereal, toast & more. We did a day trip to Capri (booked with Caterina) and had to set off early in the morning so it meant we missed breakfast (8-10am) but Katerina at the reception desk organised a packed breakfast including croissants, fruit, juices and sandwiches to takeaway with us which showed us how much they go the extra mile to make our holiday special. Our other day trip to Positano & Amalfi was booked via Katerina as well where we got picked up in a coach within 1 min of our hotel (the church) and transported us to the bay for our boat to the destination. The tour guide in our Capri trip was called Giovanni and he was amazing & funny which made it such a memorable and exciting day trip. Overall everything was spot on & we couldn’t ask for anymore. I would recommend this place to stay for anyone including families & couples.

i just stayed at the la piazzetta guest house for a total of 6 nights and i cannot even write a flaw about the experience. we had dealt with Caterina for majority of our stay and it was absolutely exceptional. the staff were extremely accomodating, and provided additional services upon our request. we had no idea that they had charter/boat services and we had booked the service through la piazzetta guest house and could not be more happier with the experience. reception was extremely accomodating and thorough with the boat/charter service, making sure to tailor the experience accordingly to our needs and wants. we absolutely adored our room, and the location was exceptional. it was everything we could’ve asked for, considering it was our first time staying in sorrento!

First thing we noticed was that everything was very clean. Our rooms were exactly as pictured in the photos, and the location was perfect, right in a quaint piazza by town hall and access to everything Sorrento has to offer. Very surprised by the comfortable mattresses and pillows (not always obvious in boutique hotels). The staff was awesome and very helpful. With the most reasonable bang for your buck we found, you can’t go wrong. Looking forward to coming back next year!

As with most hotels in Sorrento, parking is a pain, and although La Piazzetta staff are very organized with a valet pickup to a private parking, onsite parking would obviously be preferred, but the valet was perfect in either case.

Customer service was amazing. Caterina went above and beyond to accommodate us arriving early, and my 1 year old’s milk allergy by providing us with suitable food at breakfast. They even set up a little birthday treat for me one day which was so thoughtful. If there were any questions, we could speak via WhatsApp and they would sort it out straight away. The location was in the middle of everything- can’t fault it at all!

There was nothing not to like. If you have a little one you may want to think about the stairs as they will want to climb them, but we just created a barricade to stop our one!

The apartment was great, it was very spacious, and the hosts were great (a company that has a few suites on the 1st floor). The room had everything that we needed, a kitchen, a bathroom and a toilet, and it had 2 floors, the first one (where the kitchen and the bathroom were) had an open sofa, and the second floor had a king-size bed, a single bed, and it our case, a crib for the baby (had to pay 10 euro a night for the crib). The location is great, next to great restaurants, shopping stores, and a central location. There is an option for breakfast at a low cost (kids pay from the age of 6, but just 5 euros), the breakfast location is in the same area, reachable by a flight of stairs from their office on the first floor. The breakfast was small but sufficient. We definitely recommend this location to everyone, and we would be happy to return.

It was a bit tricky to find the place; we had to call the hostess, and she came down to help us find the entrance. Note that the entrance requires a cheap (you get one upon check-in), otherwise, you will need the help of the hostess to open the ground floor entrance.

Cant fault our stay thankyou. Fantastic location overlooking a square. We had a large balcony. Room was great, bed very comfortable. Spotlessly clean and well maintained.

Nothing really. The steps to the bed deck were a bit steep and one to be careful on after a night out, but its not a complaint, just an observation.

Her attention to detail and genuine care made all the difference, from recommending local spots to arranging special surprises for our celebration. The guest house itself is charming, with beautifully decorated rooms and a lovely atmosphere. The location is ideal for exploring Sorrento, yet it still feels like a peaceful retreat. The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Sorrento, yet it is still a quiet street and you do not hear any noise from the streets. Caterina, Alessandra and the whole staff are extremly friendly, lovely, helpful and welcoming. Should you have any question, problem or need recommandations, they will answer you on whatsapp within minutes. Our room was beautiful, bright and very clean. You can get almost everything you might need or want for breakfast (eggs, local cheese, meat and pastry, fresh fruit, ….). Also, the cappucino is great! We will come back for sure!

Beautiful location, our views were SPECTACULAR!! We had the Piazza San Antonino on one side and Mt. Vesuvius on the other. Caterina was phenomenal and worked to accommodate us when I needed to put medication in the fridge and requested an early time to drop off our bags. The breakfast was delicious and robust, with tons of options, the BEST we’ve had on our 14 day journey. I can’t recommend this place enough, centrally located in the historical district, 1 min walk to gorgeous cliff views and delicious food.

I loved everything!

The host was wonderful and so helpful we appreciated her hospitality. The room was in a great location, 10 minutes walk from the ferry (lots of stairs) and 5 minutes to all the shops and restaurants. We had a split level room which was spacious. The breakfast was great, we really appreciated the lady who made cappuccinos each morning.

Our room 104 was right next to reception which meant we could hear everything outside and the room lacked privacy. The space between the toilet and sink was very tight it felt cramped. Although the bed was comfortable it was two single beds put together to make a queen and there was a crevice in the middle.
