This property is centrally located with great access to all major attractions in Verona. Massimo, is a fantastic host who made you feel comfortably welcome and always extended his support to help you whether it was to arrange a cab, provide a difference choice for breakfast or provide you with information on sites to see along with a recap on there history. I really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

Elevator does not access the ground floor, instead you need to use a short set of approximately nine stairs prior to the elevator. But we managed alright, even though we are basically 70 years of age with 4 large pieces of luggage.

Massimo, the owner, is a wonderfully warm and helpful host. His preparation for our arrival was exceptional. He met us at the elevator door on the second floor and made us feel welcome from the very first minute. He clearly took us through the B&B’s details, supplied us with a map he had prepared, showing Verona’s main attractions (all of which were within 10 minutes walk from our location), which also included some information of each site. He then took us to our room and clearly explained the key, code and card entry systems. The room was spacious, clean and very well presented. At breakfast, Massimo would come to greet us and serve coffee and then leave us to help ourselves to an Italian Breakfast including homemade bread and cold meats. He was always available but never intrusive. His English is of a very high standard, certainly better than I can ever dream my Italian of ever reaching. The location of the property was perfect, within minutes from many places to eat and drink. The closest bus stop is just around the corner to get you to the rail station or airport. Should we ever return to this beautiful city, I shall be hoping that Massimo will be able to accommodate us. Exceptional!

I genuinely cannot fault our stay.

Room clean and spacious, friendly host, gave us map for main attractions and suggestions for breakfast/ dinner, which was very helpful since we had limited time in town, very convenient location for walk in the center, parking 5 min away for 20 eur/24h, and surprising there was elevator in the building, very tiny but perfect for luggage.

Coffee maker wasn’t available in the room but kettle for tea was ( but who drinks tea in the morning??:), internet was very slow and water pressure in the shower was weak. But these are just minor details.

Very nice B&B in a nice area, super close walking distance to everything! Super practical. The host is great, very welcoming and good information, prepared with a little map and everything to show you! Comfortable beds, spacious bathroom and very clean! Breakfast was well done and many homemade items, yum! When visiting Verona in the future, I will come back for sure to this place!

The owner was so welcoming. He fixed us cappucinos for our breakfast. Helped with the luggage. He gave us a very detailed walking map of the city with descriptions if each site in English. Lastly, he even called a taxi forcour trip back to the train station. The room was large and lovely. The bathroom was huge!

Getting into the building was a little confusing the first time.

The Cangrande is great for several reasons: It has an exceptional location, within walking distance of most important sites in Verona. The room was very clean and comfortable and Massimo was extremely kind and helpful, giving us recommendations of places to see and taking care of our breakfast. We would definitely go back!

It would have been nice to have some extra sockets by the bedside tables to charge our phones - we had to unplug the lamps to do so. Also the coffee was not the best, which is a pity when one is in Italy.

The location is really close to the city center, so It's very easy to get every famous post (Arena, House of Giulietta, Torre dei Lamberti). It's also very easy to reach from Train station using the public transports. So It's really not necessary to have a car. The host is very kind and open to every question that you might have. Right after we had arrived, he have us a clear explanation/summary of the history of Verona and a map of the city that we used a lot.

The only problem about our stay was the we missed the soap for all the days that we spent in Verona.

A beautiful little B&B full of Italian charm. Just 3 rooms, all very large and well equipped. Perfectly located in walking distance of all the historical sights-Arena, Juliet's balcony, Castle ... Host Massimo is very well informed and gives lots of info about Verona. Fantastic breakfast with Francesca's home made bread & cake!

The location is perfect as it’s about 10 minute walk to anything whilst still being far enough away from the touristy centre to be fairly quiet. The rooms are great and ample for one or two people. Breakfast was a good choice of breads and cakes homemade by the hosts, accompanied with cold meats, egg and yogurt. The hosts are very warm and welcoming

The curtains were very thin so at night with the light on I always felt like people would be able to see in from the road which was a bit odd. Thankfully I was up early in the morning anyway but for the same reason the light would get in early. The shower head was also a bit of a pain.

I loved everything about this property. It is easily my favourite stay in Italy and I'm sad I was only there for one night. It is located in a very quiet and centre neighbourhood right next to a cathedral. It is walking distance to the arena, the busy streets and the castle. The walk in the city was very beautiful. The host was very helpful in communicating when needed while respectfully keeps a distance. I really appreciate it. He is also very thoughtful by preparing map and information about the city upon arrival, very nice breakfast in the morning with homemade bread and cakes. I was only stopping by in Verona, but the stay makes me want to come back for longer stay, and I would definitely recommend it to other travellers.
